The Yuletide is upon us. Cold. Green. Red.

For me, the apathetic Umbridge and the Red Queen will always be a vile concoction of “venomous” (across) “poison” (down). How can they not be venomous, when their faux-sweet elocutions were able to choke me into a corner, forcing me to make decisions with a heavy heart? How can they not be classified as a vile poison, when even during their absence, the air reeks with their offensive canker and acrid stench of sickening deceit.

They shall stay as cold-hearted serpents, slithering in the frozen desolation of their miserable twisted reality.

Their tongues are green with corrosive barbs.

Their blood is red with corrupting malice.

Taxonomy time!

I learned something about human taxonomy today: vertebrates belong to the Deuterostomia superphylum. During deuterostomic embryonic development, the blastopore, the first opening produced in gastrulation, becomes the anus. So, in fact, humans were all assholes at one point. Figuratively, some humans devolve to or haven’t even evolved out of this embryonic stage. #Biology is mind-blowing! 🤯🧬🦠🧫

My takeaways from Women’s Month 2019:

1. There are two types of women: Humans and Tupperware®.

2. Humans are intellectuals. Tupperware® = inanimate; disposable.

3. Intellectuals seek to understand; inanimate objects seek to...

4. The world needs people who understand each other through thick and thin. The world doesn’t need blah.

5. Respect begets respect. Indifference?

6. Respect the context of things — don’t be a dumb-ass by making a different context to show your point.

7. Things do not work “your way or the highway” all the time. The world is round.

8. Your way matters. So does mine and everyone else’s.

9. By way of virtue, karma is a bitch.

10. The word “bitch” has a “formal” meaning. Then there’s the “needful” part.

I hope my stumble-upon will turn into a treasure item for a son or daughter, a gift for a grandchild or godchild, or even a keepsake for a child-at-heart.
