This awesome new urban farm just opened at NYCHA's Red Hook Houses!
It looks great, the produce is meant to go to the NYCHA residents there, and it's employing people this summer to maintain it. Pretty great news considering the fact that NYCHA is having to cut hiring of seasonal workers in the face of sequestration budget cuts.
You can see more pictures of the farm on NYCHA's Flickr, which is where I found this one.

Wait... seriously?! *shudders*

Perspective.
Yup. I personally know people who have switched over to computers for all of those purposes (well, OK, not the bank robbing).
I'm guilty of the first three, how about you?

While we're on the subject of energy drinks...
Did you have any idea how many different types there are? Just looking through sites where you can buy energy drinks overwhelms me with the number of brands, and varieties within brands, that there are to choose from.
No wonder there is such a thing as brand loyalty. No one wants to go through the trouble of comparing all of these things. You find one or two you like, and never again do you have to think :p.
I had never even heard of most of these types of energy drinks! I knew about the big brands like Monster, 5-Hour Energy, or Amp, but there are so many weird niche brands now!
Consumerism is crazy stuff!
Donkey Kong energy drink! A must have for my next gaming session with friends, if for no other purpose than delightful nostalgia.
I honestly haven't seen what's in this can, and I don't really care. All I need is this description from the distributor:
This highly caffeinated Nintendo energy drink packs a punch so strong, it will have you swinging off chandeliers, pounding on your chest, and throwing feces at strangers.
