//HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, WHETHER YOU CELEBRATE OR NOT! lol so a quick few announcements.

As of right now, I've been mostly keeping to discord and it may be a permanent shift. Those of you who are mutuals may add me on there so I don't lose touch with you all: amayak19

But I may from time to time come on and rp with those who do not have discord/ do not want to be on there for whatever reason they choose.

Last thing, have not gotten a laptop, but fuck it, I'll do rps via phone if I must in the meantime lol, I've been doing it on discord Tumblr isn't that much an issue as I thought. Anyway lovelies, I'll be on here sporadically and on discord if anyone wants to add me! Have a good day lovelies!

Amaya giggled, having gotten onesies of Stitch and Angel for her and Jason to wear. She normally hated pink, but she loved the two little genetic experiments from Lilo & Stitch. She was already donning the pink fluffiness, holding out the other to her boyfriend, giving him puppy eyes. "Please, honey?"

He stared at the onesie that Amaya was holding out to him and sighed, unable to say no when she looked like that. "Only for you, darling." He agreed before slipping into the Stitch onesie to match with her.

//all right lovelies, I am back, I did mention having a hiatus for a little while, been busy cleaning and organizing and also getting some rather good news, which I’ll list now~

First one is that I got my tax refund a lot quicker than last year, which is a relief, but the major news is, turns out, I was in hold, not fired from my job and my boss recently called me and, once I get my booster, I’ll be getting back to work~!

So, I’ve been prepping and making sure that I sleep at a good enough hour, so no more late nights on here for me right now lol Anyway, not sure what my hours look like right now, but I am excited to get back to work, hopefully. As for tumblr, I’m not putting my blog on complete hold, but I will probably handle rp’s over the weekends since that will be the only days I’ll be completely off work, maybe more than that. I will update you all more soon once I know what my hours look like~ I appreciate all your patience, lovelies, and I love you all~!//

Jason had his head resting softly in Amaya's lap, having just gotten home from visiting her family again. Aacon and her mother loved the idea that he was able to make her happy, but, Amari and her father were still getting on his case about being in a relationship with her.

Taking a deep breath, he looked up at her before speaking. "I love your family, but, I feel like your brother is a little too overprotective sometimes..." He commented, the red mark from where he was punch slowly fading.

Amaya let out a small huff, shaking her head. "He has his reasons, I told you as much as to why, but I'll admit he can go too far sometimes. Plus, today had nothing to do with you, but I'm sorry you got hurt trying to calm him down."

Her brother had been in the middle of a PTSD related episode and Jason got caught in the crossfire. Yes, her brother and father were still being protective in regards to her having a relationship with Jason, but they were slowly getting better with dealing with it. "It's not just what happened to me he deals with, he has his own shit."

She gently caressed his sore cheek, shaking her head. “It’s okay, mama had us leave for your safety. Amari could have easily put you into a chokehold rather than punch you and those are very difficult to get out of when he’s like that. Had to freeze his hands once when he grabbed me, but he recovered just fine.”

The neko frowned, shaking her head. “You need to stop being so okay with people punching you. Me, then my brother, I would swear it was a kink of yours, getting hit.” She mumbled, giggling a little.

He sighed. "Trust me, I've had to put a few people into chokeholds myself," He reminded, having to put the big bad of the wolf gang in a chokehold to save Amaya when they were first getting to know each other. "I know how difficult it is to escape one." He kissed her softly, moving her into his lap to hold her closer as he relaxed.

Giving her an unamused looked, he playfully bit at her cheek before kissing it. "I'm just very forgiving of people who don't actually mean to hit me, or who I see as family." He reminded.

"I just.... Wish I knew what caused him to see me like that..." He told her, remembering that Amari called him something before punching him.

Sitting up, he gently wrapped his arms around Amaya and pulled her into a hug, wanting to cuddle her for a while and give her more affection. Amaya's mother did make him a bit embarrassed when she called him out on being so affectionate with her, with Aacon teasing him about it being "puppy love".

Amaya sighed softly. “I’m not sure, very little things can set him off when he’s like that or trigger that state in the first place.” She giggled once he pulled her into a hug, not minding he was so affectionate. It was nice that she had someone that was just as much of a cuddle bug as she could be, besides her mother and Aacon.

She nuzzled into his neck, purring soothingly. “Your cheek’s not too sore is it?” She asked, gently caressing his cheek.

He nodded, listening to her explanation, before smiling once he heard her giggles. He could listen to her giggle all day, there was just something adorable and soothing to him about it. As well as the cuddles greatly helping him relax. "I'm still sorry we had to cut the visit short..." He apologized to her, though, it was her mother who suggested they leave early, just in case.

Smiling and kissing her head when she nuzzled into his neck, he gently grabbed her hand from his cheek and kissed her palm softly before shaking his head. "It's getting better." He promised. Despite how hard he was punched, he ironically took it in stride. Then again, she had punched him just as hard, if not harder when they first met.

Amaya blushed, blowing a kiss. "Thank you, Jason and right back at you, my love~"

He smiled, gently placing a hand on her waist as he pulled her against him lovingly, pressing his lips against hers. "Everything about you is attractive. Your eyes, your ears, your scars, your personality." He listed off, smiling at her. "Your voice, your warmth." He could go on for hours if she let him.

(First off, Happy Birthday to the mun!)

Jason quietly entered Amaya's room, a tray of her favorite breakfast items in his hands, three blank IOU cards for her to write and redeem what she wants from him, and a small happy birthday sign placed in the corners of the tray. Gently setting the tray down on a bedside table, he knelt down and kissed her cheek softly before speaking. "Good morning, Amaya. It's time to wake up."

Amaya slowly opened her eyes, smiling softly as she sat up. "Mm, good morning, honey." She murmured, rubbing her eyes. She soon looked at the tray in his hands. "Is that for me?" She asked, her smile brightening as she slowly woke up.

He smiled and nodded, placing the tray on her lap as he did. "Happy Birthday, Amaya." He told her with a happy smile, his tail wagging a bit as he did. "I have some events planned out for the day, I hope you don't mind." He told her as he watched her.

Jason silently walked up to Amaya and wrapped his arms around her silently. Normally, he was a lot more energetic, which meant something was wrong. He sniffed a bit, and his cheeks were flushed, his eyes red and puffy, all signs of him crying.

Amaya looked up, gently running her fingers through her hair. "Jason, sweetie, what's wrong?" She murmured, gently pulling him down so he could sit next to her. "You can talk to me, my love." She whispered, kissing his cheek.

He leaned against her once she pulled him down next to her, his arms wrapped around her for closeness and comfort. "I... I just remembered that today.... Would have been my mother's birthday." He told her. He didn't cry often, the only times she actually saw him cry were when it came to his parents, or seeing her in pain or sick. It was the only time his inner child got to come out again, since he had to grow up literally overnight to fend for himself at such a young age. "That and.... I dreamt that you... Were dying..." He told her honestly. It was probably the first time he ever told her about a nightmare, which just goes to show how much it affected him mentally and emotionally.

Jason leaned against the wall. He felt incredibly hot, and he was sweating profusely. He couldn't see himself, but, the skin around his eyes were dark while the rest of his skin was pale, his scars now clearly visible against such pale skin.

Walking out of his room, he stumbled down the hall before collapsing to his knees. Why was he so weak? He's never been like this before. After managing to stand up again, he made his way out into the living room.

"Good morning.... Amaya...." He greeted, suddenly out of breath. Why was talking suddenly so much of an effort for him?

Amaya looked up when she heard Jason’s voice, gasping and rushing over to him at how he looked. “Jason, what’s going on?” She asked, gripping his arms and hissing with how hot his skin was. “You’re burning up!”

She pulled him by his arms and back to his room. “Lay down, let’s take a look at you.” She soon grew impatient and pushed him gently onto his bed. Emeralds turning silver, a bowl with cold water and a cloth appeared at his bedside, wringing out the cloth and dabbing it along his face. “Are you sick, did you get bit by something?” Her hands ran along his chest to see what could possibly be wrong, panic in her voice as she looked.

Amaya smiled softly, snuggling closer with soft purrs. “It’s okay, I can understand if it became too much for you to keep inside for so long.” She blushed lightly when he kissed the top of her head, giggling as her tail curled around his. “I’m glad I’m keeping you calm and relaxed, I was worried I was just going to make it difficult for you to recover, but I’m glad to see that it won’t.”

Jason smiled happily, resting his head gently on hers as his body reminded him that he still needed to recover, causing him to yawn. “You’ll never make anything difficult, Amaya. You always make them better.” He told her, struggling to keep his eyes open. “I’m lucky to have you. I love you.” He told her, falling asleep again, the green shade finally gone from his skin, and a bit more color returning as well, his usual pale-tan color slowly starting to come back.

She blushed and giggled, watching as he fell asleep, shifting him a little bit so he could properly lay down. She pulled his blankets over him and kissed his forehead. “I love you, too, Jason.” She decided to lay with him, that worry never fading when someone she loved was sick. She always stayed close if they needed anything. She snuggled a bit closer, soon dozing off.

Once Jason finally awoke, he felt dizzy, as if he had just slept longer than he should have. Being careful not to wake Amaya, he gently slid out of bed before heading to the bathroom, splashing some cold water on his face to help him wake up before looking at himself in the mirror.

Giving off a startled yelp, he fell back onto his ass with an audible thud. When he had looked into the mirror, he saw his usual silver hair and ears replaced with a deep silver-blue color with blood-red tips and highlights. Unbeknownst to him, it was his body creating antibodies for the poison that was used against him based on the antidote that was administered to him. While the antibodies could not work on him, they could be used to create an antidote that could be kept in storage in case someone was ever poisoned with the same poison again. A trait he shared with his mother, who died before she could teach him about it.
