For anyone who needs context on my last video, basically, Tattooed Woman was a Radio Host, and when the cataclysm began, she claimed that a man who knew all about the visitors. She investigated him to humiliate him on the radio, but then he said that he wouldn't be able to assist due to someone stealing his documents, so the man is canonically Conspiracy Theorist. She continues explaining to Protagonist how he ghosted her and called Theoist a Bastard.
I know I already asked about a character but I have so many that I want to hear your headcanons about, if you are cool with me asking more what’s your headcanons on the bandana guy? (Also hope you’re doing okay now!)
Oh you sure can! And my mouth still hurts a lot, but I’m doing my best and I think I’m finally on the up now 😭
Bandana Guy, he’s a loser but unlike Ilya, I actually do feel bad for calling him that sometimes. Here are my headcanons for him!
General headcanons
His name is Pavel, it means small and I think that fits him because of his low self-esteem. Not that I think it’s a bad name to have, I actually think it’s very nice sounding!
He’s younger than most characters and he’s described as younger-looking, so I would put him at 21-22.
He’s about 5’8, not the tallest but not the shortest either.
Of course he loves the color purple, that’s his shit! I like to imagine he incorporates at least a little purple into all of his wardrobe even if it’s a formal event.
I think he pierced his own ears because he was too nervous to go into a tattoo shop to get it done. And then it became infected and he had to take his earrings out.
He has terrible anxiety, but his social anxiety is the worst. He constantly worried about how other people see him and if they like him.
I think he’s gay, and had just come around to realizing it out of school. But others have realized it before him and have called him not nice names ☹️
In a relationship: I think he’d be nervous, really wanting to make sure everything he does is something his partner would approve of. He would need a lot of reassurance and deep conversations that he doesn’t have to worry so much and that his partner genuinely likes him. I think he’d be a bit clumsy at first with physical affection, because it’d be his first real relationship, but he’ll get the hang of it after a while. He’ll get more confident the more he realizes his partner doesn’t mind if he’s not perfect all the time. But I also think he’s naive, so it would be very easy to surprise him with gifts or dinner. He’d love the surprise though!
Pre-cataclysm
He was bullied harshly in school. He has very real trauma from his time in school. It was bad enough that he dropped out a year early.
He still had a close group of friends though! He had a little group of like-minded weirdos that hung out all the time. I think he’d liked to do nerdy shit with them like cosplay and play games together.
His mother was pretty protective of him, I think she made a lot of trips to the school to try and make it better (sadly that made it worse sometimes) But he loves his mom regardless.
I think he was the only one in his friend group that could drive, but he failed his drivers test a few times before he got his license. He felt really cool when he did.
Post-cataclysm
I think he witnessed a traumatic event with a visitor. Either involving one of his friends or his family. Then he became fixated on learning to kill visitors.
It got worse when he witnessed the vigilante killing people, which only reminded him of how weak he was and how cool other people are. (That’s not the correct response to witnessing murder)
He drove his car out of the city as far as he could until he parks it one night to find shelter and the tires melt onto the road. Then it’s all on foot
I go back and forth on whether he’d be a visitor or not, but I love the irony that he does turn out to be a visitor. Like he’s so transfixed on learning to kill them, but he is one. If he was a visitor, I truly don’t think he’d know that he was one.
