“Your title?” Punk's eyebrows shot up, meeting in the middle. Cody grimaced. He hadn't meant to say it that way. “Funny, when I won it, it didn't have your name on it. It had Sami's. How'd that happen, champ?” That last word, bit out like an insult, made Cody's nose twitch with the effort of holding everything back.
“He never should've won. I was supposed to get it back, make it right, but Gunther– And then you–”
“What was I supposed to do, not take the call? Not take the chance? You would've done the exact same thing.”
“Fuck,” Cody exhaled. His eyes were still pinned to Punk’s, his hand still fisted in her hair. Outside his own body, he couldn’t do anything but watch as AJ took him down further, gradually, unhurried, and he watched every microscopic change run across Cody’s face. The hooded sink of his eyes, never moving from Punk’s own. The tremble in his curved pink lips, wet as he ran his tongue along them. The labored breaths that shook the broad chest buried beneath that dark hoodie.
It could’ve been a thousand years, sitting there on his knees, locked in that dark sky gaze as AJ methodically took him down as far as she could, only in his peripherals. He could hear it all - the wet sound of her mouth around him, the small moans pulling up from her lungs - but all he saw was Cody, every bit of flushed wonder draping across his cheeks, blending with the blurred lights of the city beyond, warm and neon along his skin in the dark of the room around them. Punk didn’t dare move. Not to touch himself, not to touch either of them, for fear that the moment might break, that it might all end, and then… What would it be for?
