do u have any advice? i’m a yume of a character that’s around my age (she’s 16-18) but i’m really scared that one day i’m not gonna be able to love her cus i’ll be an adult. she helped me out of an addiction and i don’t think i can let go of her. what do i do?? i always kinda saw her as a character that’d age with me cus of when i met her (earlier this year) we were the same age. but idk:(( sorry im just soo scared of losimg my f/o

I am usually heavily against people aging up characters just for the reason of shipping them with someone older or making nsfw content with but I think this is different then that

In my opinion: if there is an older version of that character then I see nothing wrong with it or because you did say you thought of her as a character to age with you, you could make an adult version or au of your f/o, I don't personally see an issue with it as long as you don't make explicit or sexual content with the character!
