Error 404 - Introduce yourself
Decided to revive my old Tumblr account ever since Twitter & Instagram became useless as art posting platforms.
I've taken a long break from social media and am frankly hesitant to get back into it given how stressful life is in general. Still, I like drawing art from shows I'm interested in, so will be posting on and off.
Daiya no Ace ep 13 (Season 4): I get why Eijun felt the way he did. ;w; I get it was just the setting, but man, it was painful to watch that misunderstanding. I do love it when the character backstories are explored a bit. Miyuki opening up about wanting to do right by his father was something I was not expecting, but I love it since it shed's some light on their relationship. I wish we could have gotten to know more about these everyday things for a lot of the other characters. Anyway, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was viewing a shoujo love triangle situation XD XD XD Despite my dissatisfaction with Furuya being OPed so much, I do like him as a character and his interactions with Eijun (I think in the start I found them toxic, but now I think it was because of that second coach). Still, somehow, I feel a bit upset with this depiction of Eijun ever since he put the ace number on. Was kinda hoping he wouldn't start out so weakly in his first game (not when he played so well against Harkyuu). I think the semi-final match was veeeery satisfying. I wish there was more Eijun interaction with Kousei XD (love Amahisa honestly, at this point I feel like he's the only one who truly has some respect for Sawamura than Seido as a team does ;w;). Given what I've read about the final with Inashiro, should I brace myself for more Sawamura mistreatment? Like.......I know it was a deeply dissatisfying ending, but I'll be hella mad if MC ends up in the same position as he was in at the beginning.
Getting back into DnA again
Good grief, it is so hard not to ship characters together in Daiya no Ace. I thought I was a steadfast MiyuSawa fan, but the recent episodes with Amahisa and Sawamura *brain starts churning* huehuehuehuehuehue! But even without the shipping aspect, these characters are well-written (hard not to get attached to just one)! I really enjoy the wholesome interactions and rivalries that aren't toxic. I think in the previous seasons I may have gotten irritated with Furuya because of Ochiai's favoritism. I hadn't read the manga afterwards, so I wasn't expecting the mutual respect and the positive competitiveness between Furuya and Eijun. It's been refreshing to view this series again after all these years. Although....this is probably me ovethinking, but somehow the current animations (with the exception of a few scenes) feels lackluster/stiff compared to the older animation. I do like that in some scenes the characters look their age, but there was this one episode where Kataoka was drawn just weird man.

I still really like this practice drawing I did back during covid lockdown. I was trying to follow a tutorial by the awesome David Ardinaryas Lojaya. I opted to draw my favorite character from the Batman Animated Series (hence Nightwing with a mullet :D). Overall this was a fun experiment.
I have forgotten how to draw 😂 But I needed to get this out of my system. They could have brought Hyper Sonic back in Sonic Prime, but nuuu.

Kitty!RedHood on edge. I was experimenting with a pixel art software and did a rough animation. Id love to make a simple arcade style 2D game out of these characters ;w;. Many ideas, no energy.

Started reading Red Hood Outlaws for Jason, stayed for Artemis
Gotham Knights Red Hood. Worked on this a while back, was happy with how the colors turned out.
I made this after the first season of the reboot came out. At the time I was thinking how Adora would look like grown up with a full chest armor. I think her actual design (from the later seasons) in the show looks much better ^^;
