Finished forging the door latch springs yesterday. Set them in the @evenheatkilns to anneal overnight. The goal for today is to mount and fit these to the backing plates. Forged out the first few handled tools. I ended up grinding a little more than I wanted to get the shape right but overall I’m happy with the direction it’s going. The one end is angled 45 so you can see the work without the handle being in the way.
