Existence has a funny way of making you stronger. Life must beat you to bedrock before it is expected of you to grow from the bruises and broken bones, but what a sad way to live. To be destroyed before you may even begin to rebuild. I am not some...reclaimed piece of land for others to tear at and build upon. I refuse to be the used, the manipulated, and the one left crying in the rain of my own tears and the thunder of my own screams. Life...Existence. Both have been unkind in their demolition of me. My so called "friends" and "lovers" have been almost none the wiser to all the problems at hand, because my superpower is to pretend. If I didn't have those select few that would actually miss me the moment that blade let my artery or the noose coiled itself permanently around my airway... I wouldn't be here typing this. Life is cruel. My body is cruel. And my mind is even worse than the other two. I sit and rot in my thoughts. The world, once so full of hope and light, remains a misted ghost of its former glory...and I..assume the position of its caretaker. Death has become more comforting a thought than life. How sad... To rip the very happiness from a young girl's soul and replace it with more of the black that has permeated her mind already. Life is cruel. Existence...is pain.

DIY Lunar Calendar

A few months ago, the most beautiful lunar calendar showed up on my dash, thanks to @etsycult! I immediately added this beautiful work of art by ABJglassworks to my wish-list. Alas, I am broke witch, so I came up with an immediate solution until I can afford to splurge :) 

You will need:

piece of hobby board 

chalkboard paint

white paper

marker

bottle cap 

scissors

glue

chalk pencil

Step One

Paint your hobby board with the chalkboard paint. I used three coats of paint and sanded in-between so that it would be nice and smooth to write on. This is probably overkill and not necessary. Just paint until you’re satisfied.

Step Two

Use your bottle cap to trace 9 moons. Cut out your moons. Use your marker to denote the phases.

Step Three

Glue on your moons and then add the dates and astrological signs with your chalk pencil. To find the current lunar phase and astrological sign,  The Moon app is perfect!
