Jayden’s weakness in food is basically anything mexican. Especially their seafood, one of the things she could eat at any time is devil styled shrimp. she really thanks her first lover in boarding school for that. Lemonade is something Jayden can’t live without, she blames it on the hot miami weather. She also likes her reposado tequila shots. Especially if they are body shot off her wife.

Jayden loves where they live, her and Adelaide spent years planning the perfect home. They had it built from scratch. It’s literally their dream house and they couldn’t picture living anywhere else anymore. 

what can they not leave the house with? 

Jayden is a sap and if her wife is home, she can not leave unless they kiss goodbye. She also can’t leave without  her favorite knife and the gun she keeps in her waist band. It was her wedding gift from Marcus. Her cellphone is another thing she always has to carry. 

do they have a car or take local transportation? 

Jayden gets around mostly everywhere in her ducati panigale superleggera, unless it’s raining she drives her porsche 911.

At her chuckle, he blinks at Jayden. Kamryn wasn’t sure what she might have been laughing at, of course. But it gave him a slightly uncomfortable feeling. Brushing it off he continued to offer a friendly smile and listen to the older woman. He then nodded “Ah yeah! That is the saying! Curiosity kill the cat. But satisfaction brought it back.” Kamryn bites on his lips and blinks toward the woman. Listening to Kamryn go on still he gives small nods.  Wording okay and giving his attention back to his meal.

“Boss ass bitch. Very cool.” Kamryn shook his head a little bit “I would definitely not want to get cannibalized. That is true.” With a small giggle he went about making his meal. At Jayden ‘nice to meet you’ he glanced back over toward the woman, further listening to Jayden as she called him modest in the next moment “Oh? I’m modest?” Curiously he raised his eyebrows, pulling the fish over to prep it for his meal “Guess society has become frighten of such things, huh…”  When the question of how old he was he smirked “Twenty-eight. Why?”

Jayden hummed softly, “Well I can agree with that. There is nothing better than satisfaction.” She liked this one, he seemed friendly and didn’t look like trouble. Plus, he kinda looked like Sienna’s type though. She couldn’t really understand Sienna’s type since a lot of the time, she just choose them to see who would piss Jayden off more or so it seemed like it. She continued with her salad dripping some vinaigrette that would go perfect with it.

She laughed softly as the words came out of his mouth, “That sounded very foreign coming from you, it’s quite cute.” She grinned softly as she took a piece of mango into her mouth, and chewed it softly. “The tattoos come in handy if the attitude doesn’t, it’s a fun fact that cannibalist don’t like tattoos. It ruins the flavor of the skin or something like that.” Jayden said casually with a soft grin, one of the many things she learned from Marcus. She nodded softly, “Unfortunately, in my line of work there is pretty arrogant men that think they are the hottest thing that ever walked across this planet.” She said with a roll of her eyes, “You’re different.” She said with a simple shrug before smirking back at him. “My daughter is twenty-seven.”

He had never been too interested in the entire ‘crime family’ thing. That was not something he wanted for his family. His wife was raised in one, he had been invited to the Reapers. But Noah would never force such a life onto his children. It wasn’t that it was something emotional for him. It was that he thought it would be better for the continuation of his bloodline. Noah let out a huff through his nose as Jayden chuckled, squinting a bit “Pay Elijah a visit?” Noah questioned her then. He wondered what she thought she was doing. This didn’t seem quite like the behavior of a Vice President in a well known gang. Adjusting himself a little, Noah shook his head “As long as that’s okay with Piero. I don’t see why it would be a problem.”

Noah couldn’t agree more. Elaine’s actions, for what he had heard second hand anyway by that point, seemed like that of someone confused and scared. Noah glanced to one side, thinking a moment before finally saying “Does she seem like she is?” Noah questioned. Not too sure of that. He hadn’t gathered enough information however. Elijah seemed more of a point of contention to Elaine. It was an ex husband, someone she had felt betrayed by. Noah couldn’t help but imagine that whatever was going on in Elijah’s life, or whatever happened to the man himself. Would probably not matter to Elaine. It didn’t seem Elaine’s life mattered to Elaine, at this point. Noah glared then, the same he did with the Agosti who had tried to take his prey weeks ago “Elaine’s my kill. Understand?”

Was she the Vice President? Sure. Should he have held her in higher regard to that of the Reaper who brought the information to him about Elaine’s participation in the gang. Sure. But that was the thing about Noah. His loyalty was almost entirely toward Piero alone. He didn’t take well to orders by others in the branchs of the gang. Jayden only had so much control over him. But it was not all encompassing “Just make sure you see that it’s so. In whatever you’re planning…” Noah warned Jayden lightly. He would not spend time warning her of such again. Next time he would show her how serious about this he was. Noah grinned toward Jayden then “There’s no doubt that I am useful. It’s not even a question, Jayden.” Standing up from his seat, he towered over Jayden.

Staring down at Jayden, Noah clears his throat at her complaint about Elaine bothering her over dinner “Elaine’s annoying you is not my problem. Do mind that you are Vice President, Jayden.  The others look to you when Piero’s voice cannot be heard. Just mind your temper. Elaine’s already marked, we don’t need to rush things. Piero has it all under control.”

Jayden hummed softly, “It’s a visit, Noah. Not murder, I don’t plan on being the reason my wife wants to divorce me.” She said rolling her eyes knowing that even though Elijah was on the wrong side of this. He was still Adelaide’s favorite nephew and godson. She wasn’t planning on hurting him, just getting inside his head enough if he knew anything he would spill as long as Jayden promised not to hurt Elaine and well she herself wasn’t planning too. Piero had warned her that if her relationship to him ever became a problem it wouldn’t end good. She had promised it wouldn’t because well she would deal with it herself if it ever came the time. 

Jayden smirked softly as she hummed, “She kept him around after he slept around? She talked about how he was such a great asset to the gang but a shitty husband.” She chuckled softly as she rolled her eyes, “Sounds like, I did when I thought Aaden would change.” She shrugged with a smirk, “Well he did I guess, he’s been six feet under for what I believe is 28 years now? Everyone is replaceable, Dear Noah. No matter how good their skill is, there is always someone better. You don’t keep around betrayal.” She said a soft shrug. She simply rolled her eyes at Noah, did this man scare her? No. Jayden had done far too much, things far too dark to be scared by him. “Tell her to stop pissing me off and making my children a topic of conversation.” She said honestly. No body, no matter who it was got to bring up her children without getting her claws out.

She knew where Noah’s loyalty stood. They stood with the man that had saved her, but most importantly her children. That’s why her own loyalty stood by him. She chuckled softly as she looked at Noah, “You forget how long I actually lived this life Noah, I didn’t get here being stupid and reckless. Trust me.” She smirked softly as he towered over her and she licked her lips, “Careful Noah, keep threatening me and I might consider it foreplay, darling.” She husked out softly. She grinned as she shrugged softly, “We will see.” Jayden hummed, “Never said it was Noah, I was just wondering why she is still breathing without a lesson being taught to her.” She said with a soft shrug. She trusted Piero but Elaine was another story. Her three kids were inside the Reapers, even though Adelaide and her tried their best to keep them out of it. Their grandfather was the reason they choice the Reapers. He tried to pressure them to join him but they would never choose their grandfather over their mom.

As the woman spoke up on his staring he stood straighter. Kamryn scrunched his nose cutely toward Jayden then “Well. I am just curious is all. Is that illegal?” He shot back glancing away “You seem like you’d be a mean ol’ bitch in any other circumstance.” Kamryn commented bluntly with a playful grin “You give off this really gritty vibe, that’s all.” Turning his head then he went back to his meal planning “So, you a good cook?” He then asked, trying to make conversation with his cooking station partner. Looking around at all the other participants for the moment.

Though as the woman introduced herself as Jayden he perked up a bit “Oh! Jayden! Nice to meet you?” Pretty boy? He looked toward her, growing ever more curious about this woman “I’m not that pretty.–My name is Kamryn by the way. Nice to meet you, Jayden.” He lift up a food item that could be ate by itself and took a bite off it before looking once more toward his meal prep.

Jayden chuckled softly because of course being curious it wasn't illegal but it could be extremely dangerous for him if he had caught Jayden in a bad mood but fortunately for him, she was in a good one. "Its not but what is that saying about curiosity killing the cat?" She smirk at him playfully. "Well you are not wrong darling, though i prefer the title of boss bitch. In my line of work, you have to be just that if you don't want to get eaten alive." She said with a soft shrug, it was a man's world and being the opposite of that meant jayden had to work harder just to achieve the same. She nodded, "I had three kids so i couldn't suck at cooking. Though my wife is the true chef."

Jayden grinned softly at Kamryn. "Nice to meet you too, Kamryn." She had to still do some digging but he seemed nice enough to set Sienna up with him. She just had to make sure the guy could handle her Princess. "The boy is modest, that a win. You don't meet any like you today." She continued preparing her salad, "So how old are you, darling?"

Noah looked toward Jayden, listening to what she had to say then. He couldn’t agree more about Elaine being reckless. Though her reckless behavior had started weeks ago, it seemed that now she was just losing her mind a bit. That was probably because she was scared now, scared perhaps because whoever was above her in the gang, was not someone to mess with. Though Jayden’s talking of Elijah’s uncle had him studying the other’s face. Who was Elijah’s Uncle? He didn’t know “Nothing so far. Just talk of Elijah and chit chat about being at the bar late a night.” Though with Jayden’s joke about his wife he offered a smile “No. It was my good looks and murderous intensity toward life in general.”

“But If she’s left to her own devices and acting this blatant, one can only hope that her next attempt on our lives will not be as flawed as the attempt at New Years.” As Jayden mentioned the best places to be in the city he offered a slight smirk “Yeah.” He wasn’t agreeing so much as he was saying something just to fill the blank spot. Noah gave a few quick nods as Jayden further spoke about Elaine “New age personality trait. Big egos. Little self control on how to be a lot less transparent?” He offered a solution. Though he was the same age as Elaine, give or take a couple of years. So he could understand the boredom and need for attention at any cost. At Jayden’s comment on him knowing her he shook his head.

He didn’t really know what to say to that at the moment. At the question to mislead he offered a mock smile “Well, I guess I can’t argue with that.” He was guilty of such tactics himself. Though he wouldn’t say he wasn’t playing such a game with the woman before him, now, either. Continuing to listen to her, he nodded “Yeah. I am not much of a chess player.” He informed the Vice President. Quirking an eyebrow however he thought about what she was saying in that moment “I guess. But you know Jayden…Elaine has surprised us all before.” Noah tapped a foot on the floor, offering a cunning little smile toward the older woman “One can only hope that she meets her comeuppance in the end. We are all due it.”

Jayden knew that The Perez were not to mess with, but the thing about her is that fear was an emotion she no longer could actually feel. Which made her all the more dangerous, her kids were no longer defendless. Thanks to Jayden, they were very efficient. Her wife? Well the woman was the complete depiction of bad ass. She chuckled softly as Noah told her she talks about Elijah. "Sounds to me like that seems to be a favorite subject of hers maybe i should pay him a visit?" She chuckled softly at his answer. "i don't doubt you for a second, those charms once had me hooked too." She said honestly as she thought of Marcus.

Jayden hummed softly, "If she keeps moving with fear and paranoia, i honestly won't think it would be any better. Especially if we take out Elijah out of her equation, she seems to be very dependant on him." She nodded in agreement as she hummed softly, "Seems that will be her demise if she doesn't learn to control it. Though i would not mind being the one that teaches her that lesson." She didn't get the need for attention, maybe because Jayden had learned to live in the shadows because that was juat the best way to get things done effectively. She had learned that very long ago.

She knew that Noah only took order's from Piero directly so she wasn't exactly sure what his plan was to deal with the whole situation but she knew she could trust him to take care of it properly. She nodded in agreement. "Good because you could be useful." If there was one think she didn't like was when people were doubtful or her, Elaine wasn't intimidating her. Far from it, she looked like a kicked puppy. "Darling, Elaine is working my last nerve and that usually ends with people six feet under just ask my late husband." She said with a confident smile. "She won't be much different."

“If I killed everyone who wronged me, I’ll have a pile of bodies outside my home by now,” Elaine said to Jayden. “I left Elijah alive, when I could have killed him just as easily as I got rid of the stripper he choose to cheat on me with, but I didn’t because it would have been a waste of time and even when he was a terrible husband, he’s a good member to us. That is the only reason why he’s still breathing.” She thought about it, she couldn’t deny it. The moment she find out what he had done, she thought about asking someone to get rid of him. Then she thought about doing it herself, but first, she had to deal with that other woman. and not even twenty four hours after the secret came to light, it was done. “I guess I’ll be waiting for your move, then. If we don’t act sooner,” she said to her, standing up from the chair. “I’ll see you soon, dear aunt,” she added, taking another piece of food from her plate and then leaving. 

Jayden hummed softly as she looked at Elaine, "I guess that what is diffence between us love, you believe ruling with fear is enough, i know different." She knew from experience, that fear wasn't always enough to keep someone in place. She smirked and shook her head at Elaine, "No asset is valuable after betrayal sweetheart, no matter what kind because trust is broke. Let me ask you this, can you honestly tell me that my nephew's loyalty doesn't have a price? Because I can sure think of one." Elaine wasn't the only woman Jayden knew about, Jayden also knew about Tatiana. The woman that cause the ripple between brothers. She had been at that engagement party as well. She knew Elijah still kept in touch with his best friend after all. "Don't make empty threats to me, love. I act accordingly." She hummed softly as she took a drink of her wine. "Sooner than you think, sweetheart." She said with a wink. Thanks to this chat, Elaine had given Jayden the perfect idea.

Things between Vince and her mother haven’t always been horrible. Sure, she was closer to her father, especially when she grew older and showed more interest in moving to Paris to become a Dancer/Artist than to stay in Miami and take the Reaper’s oath. Her mother always told her children that they were expected to follow in their family’s footsteps, ensuring an Agosti carries on the Crimson Reaper’s legacy. Blah, blah blah. Once her father died of his heart attack, her mother flipped the script. 

After Vince was done with her rebellious stage, she went to her Uncle Piero and took her Oath to the Reapers. To her surprise, her mother lost it, wanting her to go to Paris rather than staying in Miami as a Reaper. Though it was more than just her mom pulling a whiplashing 360, it was how her mother reacted every time Vince or one of her siblings would bring up their father. A defensive reaction from people who are hiding something, but the question is - what is Adolorata Agosti hiding? 

Smiling at Jayden, she stepped inside, tucking her ankles under her legs as she sat on the couch. “Can’t blame you - there has been a lot going on lately. Is Uncle Piero coming back anytime soon?” She asked, folding her hands in her lap. Dropping her head a little, she contemplated her next words. “Have you talked to my mother recently?”

Jayden had been around the Agosti’s for years. Her youngest ones were still in diapers when she first moved to Miami, her youngest quickly took a liking to Vicenza. She basically watched the pair grow up together, though he daughter had been worried about the red head. She asked her to keep an eye out for her, and she knew that Vince was going through some stuff. Losing family wasn’t easy, she never had actual parents but when she lost the closest thing to them it hurt Jayden. She can’t imagine losing someone you had a lifelong bond with.

She moved so she was leaned her side against the couch so she could face Vince, she chuckled softly, “You know there is some of you I see as my own kids, I watched you grow up. I saw Clara climb to her spot. I will protect all of you guys like my own.” She said honestly because she believed it. The Reapers had giving her a family when she needed it so she protected them just as such. “Hopefully soon, Adelaide promised to make his favorite dinner as soon as he returns.” She said with a grin as she thought of her wife, “which reminds me that she is wondering when her fourth baby will be joining us for dinner?” Vince had earned the nickname as the fourth baby very long ago.

She hummed softly as she thought about the last conversation she had with Adolorata. “I want to say it’s been a few days, I’m talking to her about this whole situation but I can’t seem to be making progress.” She said honestly, every time she brought up Vince and planning something against Elaine. Jayden and Adolorata ended up arguing. Jayden thought that the ones that could actually take care of this problem were Noah, Vince and Sienna. The three of them could easily make Elaine’s team look like toddlers. Yet, Adolorata never seemed to agree.

How she could forget? Elaine had been in some ways, related to Jayden bt association, if not by name. She was her ex husband’s aunt and a bitch, but she could pass that because she had her temper as well. She had even been there at their wedding, dancing with him and then kissing her cheek to wish her a happy life with her newphew. Jayden probably laughed when she find out what happened between her and Elijah, maybe even secretely wishing for them to split. She couldn’t tell. Elaine grabbed her hand and pushed it away when she dared to touch her. “Go to hell,” she said to her. “Touch me again and I will not care that there are fucking kids watching how I cut off your tongue!” If there was one thing she did not like was when someone touched her without her permission. It had been enough having to listen to the woman having their finger dug deeper into the wound that had been her fuck up at the beach event. “You should probably tell Elijah to stop giving me fucking puppy eyes.”

Jayden smirked as the realization hit, the Falcones and Mackells were very distant cousins now but the families still close. Aaden had been the oldest of the Falcones before his death and he was best friends with Bentley. The uncle who always seemed to be attached to Elijah, some even confused him for his father. Jayden had attended the wedding which was the same time she found out he had joined the Serpents, such a waste of potential. She hummed softly as she licked her lips, “Careful with your words darling, I might confuse it with foreplay.” It wasn’t off brand for Jayden. Adelite had been her opponent once and now the two were married. She rolled her eyes at the mention of Elijah, “Boy is a loss cause, just like his dear uncle. Won’t fully sink into their darkside because they are scared of it. It’s not my fault you kept him alive, that’s were you and me are different darling. I don’t anyone that has done me wrong breath.”

She had her temper too and when she wanted something, most of the time she would get it. “I wish I could find those buttons of yours and press them, every single one,” she smirked. “Oh! So you do have a plan! Exciting!” Elaine clapped her hands. “I can start working there, don’t need anything else,” she shrugged. “You could be a great asset. Well, could have been one if you had just joined the right cause.” 

Jayden arched her eyebrow at Elaine as she sat back in her chair. The older woman had been in more fearful situations than this. Honestly this was giving her flashbacks to how she first met her wife. She let out a laugh, "Sweetheart, did you really forget you are in this mess because of your own mistakes? This is your fuck up, not mine. Act according." She reminding Elaine that if it hadn't been for Elaine's actions, they wouldn't be having this conversation. She smirked as she hummed softly, "Oh please do test my limits, trust me when i say. I wouldn't mind taking another Mackell wife. Or ex-wife I should say, right?" Jayden did her homework on her opponent and she dug as deep as she could and well her money allowed her that and more. "I wonder if he would look just as good as his uncle does behind bars?" She smirked softly as she took a sip of her wine. "Sweetheart, you knew there was a plan at work the moment your plan went to shit." She shrugged softly, "I don't intimidate easily, love. I shared my bed with people you would have nightmares about." She hummed softly, "Oh, I'm a great asset, love. The best. Just a little spoiler alert, I'm always on the winning side." She said as she reached over to run her finger along Elaine's jaw. "Do send my reguards to your ex-husband, tell him Auntie Jay says hi." Jayden said with an entertained grin.

“Really? So you are getting more security?” He questioned the VP. Noah was glad he didn’t have to deal with such stresses, himself. It seemed he had managed to find greater comfort in being a Hitman, that took orders straight from Peiro. Nodding at what she had said he couldn’t see why she shouldn’t do something like that “Makes sense.” At her telling him to take a joke he narrowed his eyes a bit “I’m going to pass on that.” Noah replied bluntly.

Noah inhaled sharply, knocking his head to one side “Anywhere you can hope they have no presence anyway.” He said then. It wasn’t like they could keep track of every single snake that slithered on by. But he was sure that most snakes would not go out of their way to mess with the Reaper VP. As Jayden went on talking about her run in with Elaine he nodded “I bet. She seems to get a kick out of it.” Hearing that Elaine had grabbed food from off of Jayden’s plate he raised his eyebrows.

“Apparently she’s a complete savage, too.” He encouraged her annoyance with Elaine’s invasive behavior “I suspect you told her ‘No’ in the most polite way possible, for it?” Noah questioned. Though when she said she didn’t hide he nodded “But you expect them not to find you. Mm.” Noah leaned into his chair “Well the child does need to learn a lesson. Maybe she’s just trying to get that lesson taught sooner to her, rather than later?” Of course Noah knew Jayden’s story and how she got with the Reapers.

It wasn’t a mystery why she was the way she was, to him. As she brought up sending a message to Elaine to stay her misbehaving ways he sniffed “Then talk to Piero and we’ll have something be done about it.” Though they were already working on her. With the information he received on Elaine’s part in the shooting that ended up in Clara’s being shot, he was very sure Elaine had a lot to deal with on her own plate, to be taking from another’s.

Jayden nodded, "I am. Elaine is being reckless and messy, I don't like it. Plus if her ex-husband is anything like his Uncle well, lets just say I have history with the Mackells." She ran her fingers through her long dark locks as she scratched her scalp. "Have you gotten anything out of her?" She had sent Noah out to gather intel as soon as Clara was rushed to the hospital after the shooting. She rolled her eyes softly, "I'm sure your sense of humor is truly what won your wife over." She joked aoftly. Did she like testing his limits, yes? That was Jayden in a nutshell. She tested everyones limits, her own wife included. She loved learning what made others tick.

She nodded in agreement, "One can only hope that the best places in the city are away from them." She knew they couldn't fully track them but thanks to neighborhood rumors and police intel they were able to stay away from the heavy presence areas. She took a drag from her cigarette. "Oh trust me, not as much as i did. I don't remember being that self-centered at her age. Then again, with three kids therr isn't enough time to make the world revolve around me." She smirked at Noah, "To think i would think you knew me better, why say no when you can mislead them darling? Have her completely obsessed over one thing just to pull something different. You know chess strategy. Think ahead of your opponent."

She hummed softly, "After losing his son, Giovanni promised to take mine no matter what. Finding me and defeating me are to different challenges Noah." She said honestly. "We will, Adelite invited him over for dinner after she gets back from her work trip. Just after Valentine's Day. Though we both know that man well enough that he will agree to teach her a lesson after the stunt she pulled."

Glancing over toward the older woman he was being paired with at the Sea Side restaurant, Kamryn offered a smile. She seemed to him to be a rather cold looking woman. Perhaps she had had a hard life. Though he had caught himself profiling and blushed a bit, pulling away he turned his head back to his own food. He had to make a meal right?! Not profile this poor woman. Swallowing thickly he lift a hand out toward something that looked to be fish “Let’s see, hmm. I know. ” He muttered under his breath.

Thinking of making a fish and pesto gyoza meal for the moment. Kamryn started to grab the ingredients and bring them to his spot, glancing once more toward Jayden to peek at what she was doing at the time. He was a pretty decent cook, he’d say. He hoped she was too. Else he was not going to look forward to whatever she had in mind. Whatever was on her mind…Kamryn found himself trying to analyze her again and quickly turned his head back to his ingredients once more.

Jayden could feel the younger man’s stare, honestly this is the last time she lets her younger daughter make plans for her while her wife is out of town. Because of course she would accidently sign her up for something that she wouldn’t mind doing with her wife, and that had probably been the plan till Adelite had to leave town for a few days because of her job. He was probably Sienna’s age to be honest, maybe this could turn out to be not a total loss. She gave him a playful smirk, “Something on your mind or are you gonna keep stealing glances till you think of something to say?” She asked as she started to dice some veggies and fruit to make a side salad for what he seemed to be cooking. She had learned to cook pretty early on in her life and she was pretty good at it.

Crimson Reapers has been her family, her blood since she was born, even though her father tried his hardest for this to not to be her and her sibling’s life - Vince was merely destined to join the Reapers, one way or another. Tucking her hands in her sweater front pocket, she approached Jayden Grayson. She hasn’t seen her in a few weeks and thought she could catch up with her. Maybe ask her if she saw anything different in her mom. After all, Vince’s mom is an advisor to her Uncle Piero and Jayden. They work closely with her, and she needs to know if she isn’t the only one that noticed her mom acting slightly strange after her father’s death.

“I just thought you could use some company? But if you want to be alone, we can catch up another time?”

Jayden had been so annoyed with Elaine’s boldness to assume she knew her and how she worked that she hadn’t noticed it was Vince who walked up to her. she smiled softly at her, “I’m sorry babes, I thought it was someone else. Come in join me, have you eaten?” She asked as she got up and motioned to the couch inside her office for them to sit at. her own children had grown up with the agosti kids so she saw them as her own and protected them just like she did with her own. she had noticed changes in the girl’s mother, but loss always did that to you, she knew only time would tell how the change would affect her. 

she smiled softly at the younger girl, “am I wrong or do you have something on your mind, sweetheart?” jayden’s caring side was only seen by the people that truly mattered to her, Vince was friends with her kids and she had seen the little girl grow before her own eyes so it was just easy to care for her.

Noah was always listening. He only looked like he wasn’t. It was all part of his games. Keeping up the appearance of disobedience, to make others think one way about him. If one preferred to imagine him as not listening to what they were saying. Then he would wait for the moment to show them that he in fact was listening, by often disproving their words.

Looking up when Jayden spoke directly toward him he eyed her before putting on a big smile “You were saying something important?” He questioned, blinking then. Before the smile suddenly fell from his lips. Eyes becoming distant and cold once more as she spoke on “I don’t imagine any of the soldiers are planning to start a rebellion with me as the front man.”

Turning his hand over he placed his phone down as she moved to ask her question of a Serpent interrupting her dinner. Noah made a face “Were you in public?” He asked Jayden his eyebrows raising slightly. Though at the mention of this Serpent being female he sighed a bit, sitting up straight “If it’s the Serpent I am imagining it to be. Then she’s probably just testing your patience.”

It seemed to him that this Serpent, was definitely Elaine. Noah put his phone away entirely this time and casually leaned back in the chair, swiveling it from side to side “You probably need better guard if their VP is just walking up to you right in public while you are eating dinner, hm? Elaine’s being very bold if she’s willing to make such a blatant contact with someone of your ranking in the Reapers….”

Jayden shook her head, “Not really, I was just briefing some of the soldiers about their new positions on my security team at the casino. with everything going on, I rather have more closer to me than actual security.” she let out a soft chuckle as she rolled her eyes playfully, “take a joke Noah, I have enough on my plate for you to be to serious.” she teased softly though his seriousness was one of the qualities, she liked about him. 

she hummed softly, “yes, but you know I don’t eat anywhere their presence is at.” she said honestly, she avoided any place she knew would have a high presence of serpents, mostly because she wasn’t the one to stand down from a fight when it came to her. “Well tested my patience she did, Noah. She grabbed food from my plate!” she was still irritated at the thought. 

she chuckled softly as she looked at Noah, “I don’t hide Noah, I didn’t hide from my ex. I’m not hiding from this child.” she said honestly, the Falcones were something that she still had to deal with from time to time. she knew she would when she didn’t give up her son. “I however do want to remind her who she is trying to mess with.”

“Likewise,” Elaine said. “I know you Jayden. I know that you had to go through hell to get to where you are now because I had to do the same!” Both were Vicepresidents of their respective organizations, possitions that, if Elaine could remember correctly, had been occupied by men only. Many wanted to see her fail and she had done that already at the New Year’s event and when it had been excepted for Aleja to get rid of her, she was still here. Her pride was wounded, sure, but it would take more than that to make her give up. “If it was for you, I would be dead already,” she smirked. “But you’re taking your time and I can only guess it is because there’s a plan in motion and you can’t do anything intil you are given the order.” Elaine moved her hand to take some of the food of Jayne’s plate and eat it slowly.

Jayden licked her lips and hummed softly, “you forget darling, I have more trials and errors than you. even more experience in this world than you. when I plan something big or small, by best people are at the front, there is no room for mistakes here, love.” she had grown up against her will in this life till it became the only way, she knew she would find a salvation. she offered a piece of advice mostly because before everything jayden was a mother and Elaine wasn’t much older than her oldest and right hand daughter. she was about to say something when elaine reached for the food on her plate, something not even her own children would dare to do. She clenched her jaw and dug her fork on to the top of the other’s free hand. “Trust me when I say my buttons can easily be pushed but I respect Piero enough not to go on a whim. Unlike you, we actually plan.”
