It’s a weird one ennit, this whole life malarkey.

Can go from worried as fuck over absolutely nothing one minute to having a laughing fit over a stupid penis joke or whatever.

But then you can be settled, happy and not worried but still sleep remains a luxury unable for you to reach.

Been a long time since I’ve used photoshop! Friend of mine wanted a new logo for her Twitch channel. She wanted Neonstyle linework. There was a sun involved too as is tradition with synthwave but I couldn’t make it look good.

Decided to let my emotions come out in my art instead of trying to challenge them all the time. Life might suck right now, but we can all work on ourselves to do better in the future. But the past? Out of your control now.

The new year is bringing a new attitude. This will be the year that the work will be done, also the year that I finish university and will be taking on clients.

Expect to be flooded with work over the next 12 months.

Initial Jaydia Logo

This is the initial design for the Jaydia logo. I hand drew the Jaydi part when I was 17 years old and today I scanned it in, used Illustrator to go over all the lines and then added a 3pt black thickness. I then copied the A, vertically reflected it and added it to the end.

What I'm working on now is what colours to use and the paint blobs to be the background to it.

In the future I may do some work with the Y because it does seem a bit out of place with the other letters.

Jaydia Lives...

After coming up with the name and the initial idea's for a logo when I was 14, I have finally had a wake up call and after having a couple of rough years both at University and in my personal life its time to get serious and start making something for myself seeing as I finish University in a years time.

So what are my first few projects going to be?

First and foremost: Finalise the Jaydia logo. (This will be done today and uploaded today.)

Second of all: Tattoo designs.

After that I've got to take some time to really put my mind to some worthwhile projects but believe me its going to happen.
