Liu Qingge slams his way into Yue Qingyuan’s office, startling him in the middle of dipping his brush into ink. Yue Qingyuan stares mournfully at the ink splattered all over the letter to Huan Hua he has spent the better part of the morning composing. “Shidi—” “Where is Shen Qingqiu?” Liu Qingge interrupts, marching forward. “What? Shen Qingqiu?” Yue Qingyuan’s head snaps in Liu Qingge’s direction, letter shoved aside for much more important matters. Alarm rises within him, but he tries to shove it down. “Shidi, this one is not kept up to date on Shen-shidi’s comings and goings.” His heart aches at the thought; Shen Qingqiu does not owe him that information. Does not owe him anything, really. “We planned a night hunt. He didn’t show.” Liu Qingge states, arms crossed in front of him. “I see.” He takes deep breaths, trying to remain calm, but the earlier alarm returns, stronger, more urgent. Shen Qingqiu would not appreciate his needless hovering, he knows. So he tries, to no avail, to ignore his rising alarm. “Have you visited the bamboo house?” “Yes.” Yue Qingyuan resists the urge to pinch the bridge of his nose. This Shidi of his… As reliable as Liu Qingge always is, getting his Shidi to explain anything is always an ordeal. “And what did Shidi find out?” “Shen Qingqiu wasn’t there.” He holds back a deep sigh. “Did Shidi inquire with Shen-shidi’s disciples?” “No.”

getting to that part in oojaneblonde’s grand united theory that covers how sqq/sj/sy has libido suppressant meditation built in and even without it he has basically has no attraction to most people and only finds his closest friends objectively good looking. and then he decides it's normal to find his besties good looking bc they're. literally and objectively the hottest people around according to everyone. could be interpreted as comphet and denial. but also?? im holding ace spectrum sqq close to my heart.

Hello!! I'm new to Tumblr, but I thought I'd try sharing some of my fics every few days or so :3

Starting with a lil crack treated somewhat seriously! The soulmate goose of enforcement has decided SQH and SQQ belong together! SQQ disagrees... violently. But the goose is an otherworldly being of incomprehensible power. And returns. Wrong.

“That is a goose Shang-shidi.” Shen Qingqiu stares at the goose dragging Shang Qinghua toward him by the hem of his robes. “I noticed, thank you.” “Why is it on Qing Jing?” “I don’t know!” Shang Qinghua yells, throwing his hands in the air. “It just came up to me on An Ding and wouldn’t let go until I followed!” Shang Qinghua stumbles the last few steps as the goose herds him all the way to Shen Qingqiu. It drops his hem and triumphantly gives a loud honk, seemingly satisfied with a job well done. Shen Qingqiu looks vaguely murderous at having his personal space invaded and Shang Qinghua takes a cautious step back. HONK! The goose flaps its wings viciously, menacingly raising itself, and tries to herd Shang Qinghua back against Shen Qingqiu’s side. Shang Qinghua, stuck between an angry-looking bird and an angrier-looking Shixiong, decides to take his chances with the bird and stands firm. “Shoo! What are you doing you dumb bird, are you trying to get me killed?” He grumbles at the bird as he tries shooing it away. “Come on, shoo!” HONK! The bird continues arguing with Shang Qinghua, flapping its wings with increasing intent.

ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves

back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore

if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??

don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM

so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!

this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together
