WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP HEESEUNG AND ENHYPEN? please read below.
hi guys, i redownloaded tumblr again just to make this statement but heeseung leaving enhypen has caught many of us off gaurd. i think everyone is devasted by this and yes i know everyone is thinking about a future with enhypen as six and honestly I don’t want that either.
i came here to spread awareness about what we could do as a fandom. please refer to this thread first of all.
link one — HEESEUNG did not make the decision to leave—he was kicked out of ENHYPEN.
this shows everything that adds up to heeseungs departure if anyone was also fishy about his sudden announcement like me. honestly, it makes sense.
but now that we are aware, what can we as engenes do? thankfully, twitter engenes made a thread of everything we could do from our side to fully support heeseung and bring him back.

this is genuinely the least we can do and it’s heartbreaking to me that we have to take action when their shitty company can’t do jack.

as most of you might know, heeseung has "decided" to leave the group to focus on his solo career. BUT, this is not true.
heeseung DID NOT decide to leave the group, he was forced to. he was apparently seen crying and "crashing out" in a hybe hallway which CLEARLY shows it was not his decision. to add on, just a few days ago he was speaking about the world tour coming up, and participating in activities and events LIKE NORMAL. it was be so weird just for him to leave like that.
ENGENE, we are a team. we can bring heeseung back. for example, MARK FROM NCT. he left the group exactly like this but came back due to the FANS PROTESTS. WE CAN DO THIS FOR HEESEUNG ASWELL! PLEASE DO THIS SO OUR HEE CAN COME BACK.

why the hell do i come back to see heeseung leaving the group?? this is awful. he has the right to release his own music without leaving the group he sacrificed so much to be in. it makes no sense for belift to remove one of the most popular members, let alone the one who the group was practically made for. he shouldn't be mistreated like this.

the kitchen smelled faintly of warm milk, a scent that usually reminded yn of comfort, of late nights with honeyed drinks and whispered conversations. but tonight, she wasn’t even really there. she stood at the stove, wooden spoon in hand, stirring the pot with slow, mechanical circles. her eyes weren’t on the milk—her gaze was fixed somewhere past it, staring into nothing, her mind a million miles away. the bubbling hiss of the milk rising higher and higher barely registered.
she didn’t hear the sound of keys at the door. didn’t hear the soft shuffle of sneakers being kicked off in the hallway. she didn’t notice the way the air shifted when sunghoon stepped inside, earlier than usual, his face brightening instantly at the thought of seeing her.
“baby?” his voice was soft, gentle, already tinted with warmth as he spotted her in the kitchen. he smiled to himself, relieved to be home, to have her right there.
but she didn’t respond.
“ynnnn,” he tried again, a little louder this time, his voice playful, expecting her to turn around with that little grin she always gave him. but she remained frozen in her trance, her hand moving in lazy circles without purpose.
it wasn’t until the sharp sound of liquid hissing against the stove made him look closer that he realized what was happening—the milk had boiled over, spilling down the sides of the pot in a frothy stream. and then, before she could react, it splashed onto her hand.
she winced, a small flinch, her lips pressing together, but she didn’t cry out. didn’t jerk her hand back right away. almost as if the pain wasn’t enough to break through the fog in her head.
“yn!” sunghoon’s voice cracked in alarm this time as he rushed forward. in one motion, he turned off the gas and grabbed her wrist, pulling her hand gently but firmly away from the stove. his heart hammered against his chest as he guided her back, away from the danger.
“what are you doing?” he whispered frantically, his voice trembling more from fear than anger. he never scolded her. especially not when she was like this. his eyes darted to her reddened skin, panic tightening his throat. “you burned yourself—why didn’t you—god, you should’ve moved your hand.”
but she only shook her head softly, as though it wasn’t a big deal. “it’s fine, hoon. just a little burn,” she murmured, her voice quiet, her eyes still unfocused.
“fine?” he almost laughed, but it came out shaky, full of disbelief. “no, it’s not fine.” he cradled her hand carefully in both of his, terrified to hurt her further. his thumb hovered above the red patch of skin, close but not touching, his expression twisted with worry. “why didn’t you say anything? why didn’t you move?”
her lips curved into the faintest, forced smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “i didn’t even notice.”
and that was what broke him—the realization that she truly hadn’t. that she’d been so lost in whatever heavy thoughts clouded her head that she didn’t even feel the danger until it was too late.
sunghoon’s hands were gentle as he held hers beneath the stream of cool water, his thumb ghosting circles into her wrist. he wasn’t looking at the burn anymore, though—he was looking at her. at the way her eyes seemed far away, unfocused, like she wasn’t really with him at all.
“baby,” he whispered, his voice low but steady. “what’s wrong?”
there was no accusation in his tone, no sharpness—just soft concern, the kind that made her want to curl into him and disappear. but yn didn’t answer. her lips pressed together, her gaze fixed on the stream of water hitting her skin, and for a moment she wasn’t even sure she’d heard him properly.
“yn.” he tried again, more firmly this time but still impossibly tender, tilting his head so his eyes caught hers. “talk to me. please.”
the concern in his voice tugged her back, pulling her out of the fog she’d been drifting in for weeks. and when she finally looked up, when her gaze met his, the sheer depth of worry in his eyes hit her like a blow. her heart twisted painfully, her stomach dropped, and for the first time in what felt like forever, she felt something—something sharp, something overwhelming. tears pricked her lashes before she could stop them, blurring the sight of his furrowed brows and trembling lips.
her voice broke when she finally spoke. “i don’t know what’s wrong with me, hoon.” the words came out small, like a secret. “i don’t know why i feel like this. i just… i feel nothing. all the time. i don’t know why.”
his breath hitched, his whole body tensing. for a split second, fear flashed across his features—fear that this was about them, about him. “nothing?” he repeated, almost inaudible. “you.. you don’t mean… us, do you?”
her head shot up, her tears spilling over as she shook it quickly, desperate for him to understand. “no, no, never you. it’s not you, hoon. god, it’s never you.” her chest heaved as she tried to steady her voice. “it’s me. i don’t know why i feel this way, but it’s not about us. you’re the only thing i’m sure about.”
he froze for a moment, relief crashing through him like a wave, but it was quickly replaced by something worse—an aching kind of heartbreak. she was trembling in front of him, her voice small and helpless, and it felt like someone had reached inside his chest and crushed his heart in their palm.
without another word, sunghoon pulled her toward him, sinking down to sit on the floor with his back against the cabinet. he guided her onto his lap, easing her to straddle him like they always did when one of them was upset, when words weren’t enough and they just needed closeness. his arms wrapped around her tight, one hand splayed across her back, the other cradling the back of her head as he pressed her face into his neck.
“talk to me, baby,” he whispered, his lips brushing against her hair. “tell me everything.”
and she did. slowly, haltingly, with long pauses where she had to catch her breath between tears. she told him about the numbness, the heaviness she carried every day. how mornings felt endless, how nothing seemed to spark joy anymore, how she’d felt like a shadow of herself but didn’t know how to explain it. she told him how she hated herself for not being able to shake it off, how she worried it made her a burden, how she didn’t want him to carry this weight too.
with every word, sunghoon’s chest ached more. his arms only tightened around her, holding her like if he let go she’d slip through his fingers. he pressed kisses to her temple, to her damp cheeks, to the corner of her eye where her tears fell.
but he didn’t interrupt. he didn’t ask why she felt that way, didn’t push her to explain more than she could. he didn’t tell her she was wrong for feeling it, didn’t scold her for keeping it from him. he only listened, his own eyes glassy, his heart shattering with each confession.
when she finally broke off into quiet sobs against his shoulder, he whispered into her hair, his voice breaking. “i’m so sorry, yn. i’m sorry i wasn’t there. i should’ve seen it, i should’ve noticed sooner.”
she shook her head against him, her voice muffled. “it’s not your fault.”
but he cupped her face in his hands, pulling back just enough so she had to look at him. his thumbs brushed away her tears as he whispered fiercely, “listen to me. you are the most important thing in my life. you hear me? the most important. and i don’t care how long it takes, or how heavy it feels—i will always be here for you, baby. always.”
her lips trembled as more tears spilled, but this time it wasn’t just despair—it was relief. relief at finally saying it out loud, relief at his arms around her, relief at knowing she wasn’t carrying it alone anymore.
sunghoon kissed her forehead, lingering there, his own lashes wet. “you don’t ever have to go through this alone. i’ve got you. always, okay? i love you so much, yn.”
and for the first time in weeks, the numbness cracked—just a little—and she let herself believe him.
