also why do people assume that just because you are or were a fan of something, some band, the person and their work, that you automatically know them on some fundamental level? like yes when you are a fan you tend to consume more content and have some more information than the average person but you're also seeing everything in a positive light and you're not making negative assumptions of that person's character so at the end of the day I genuinely feel so bad for those whose role models make negative and harmful choices either out of ignorance or knowingly since at some level they had trust and faith in that person (I'm just rambling now cause this really got away from me, didn't think it'd be this long 😭)

but there has to be some level of self awareness cause if the only way you're comfortable saying what you want to say is behind an anonymous tag then maybe don't say it at all 😮‍💨

I use it cause I like my little emoji and talking to people can be scary so it gives an opportunity to build rapport hence the emoji so there's still some identifiable feature that lets people know who you are

no i agree that the anonymity of it all gives a lot more confidence to those who want to be bolder in their statements.. they think its excuses them from the consequences but they will always be an ugly person deep down.

yes i was a mark/nct fan, and i learned like the rest of everyone else what kind of character he has outside of that SM persona. but with me i know all idols have a persona, that what we see could very much be a fake. what he did isn’t something i agree with or what to be associated with me which is why i unfollowed and blocked his account. idk why people come on random accounts and try to hold them to higher standards when i am literally just a person like them.

anons can say what they want about that situation but at the end of the day, i did not nor do not know that man personally, so what that anon should do is go to his accounts and let him know what you think of him bc i am literally just a fanfiction writer on tumblr dot com.
