He raised a lip just slightly at the word he used for that “Can you not call me that at least” he said, it wasnt a snappy sort of request. One just for his hatrid of that sort of ‘name’

But that other topic did interest him “Youve dealt with it alot? Uh….odd question. Have you been able to…help it?”

Invern nodded his head at the other’s request, not questioning it at his tone. He’s known that tone, he’s heard it and he’s used it himself. He wasn’t about to do that to another, even with all of his snark. “Have you even given me something to call you by?” He asked and cocked his head.

“I’ve dealt with it for most of my life now.” He nodded his head and smirked. “It’s not been me, it’s been my employer. But I live with him, so I gotta deal with him.”

He gave a quick nod himself at the others question “Aridol is my name”

He looked away for a second. As if thinking something over and also watching Branch as he slowly stood up. Whatever sort of animalistic state he was in before seemed to be gone and he held his head “Fuck man. What happened” when he got a chance to look around he was confused. Like he didnt even remember how he got here.

“Would you be able to help someone else with it is what im trying to say here” Aridol said quirking a brow looking back at him with a more wary glace before looking back at the larger troll

“Invern. Invern Clerci.” He grinned, his fangs showing off again before he looked back at Branch and merely shook his head and sighed. “You’re a fucking mess.” He looked back to the other and shrugged. “I don’t know. Maybe.”

Branch looked at Invern a bit confused "when did you get here?" he said with a soft huff

"Ah, well" he gave a soft shrug as he started to walk back to the table he was working on and started to clean up the mess "maybe we could talk about that sometime later. Im was actually in the middle of something important"

“Uh… Yeah, normally you don’t attack a person unless they attack you for whatever reason. Or that’s how it should go and if that’s how it always went, then no one would ever attack anyone. Duh.” He said like it was perfect common sense. “Kinda clear you’d be fucking pummeled… Um… Hello? Alternia to space cadet? Who the fuck are you talking to?” He waved, a little mocking and then grew to actual concern and hazard flitting closer to him to get him to stop to avoid any injury he might inflict with the blows he was using. “What the hell? You can’t just do that to yourself.”

“Im fine” he said with his eyes closed for s second taking a deep breath it “Its fine im fine. They stopped.” he said throwing the metal chains to the side “Pretty sure at least. Never know when they come back. Usually the pain keeps them away”

“Hooh boy, don’t that sound all too familiar.” Invern sighed with a blase expression, dreading what that could possibly mean.

He arched an eyebrow at that and took a step back from him “What do you mean by that”

“It means exactly as it sounds. What you’re speaking of is something that I’ve had the lovely misfortune of dealing with before in my sordid past.” He made a flourish with his hand and held it up like he was presenting something. “What did you think it meant?”

"It." he has to stop for a moment to think about how he was going to phrase it "I sound crazy i know. But im not. Most of the time im not. It just sounds like you might think im crazy or something?" his voice raised a bit in pitch at the end because he still wasnt sure how to answer. He took several steps back when he heard Branch rousing again. He expected that knocked out state not to last that long

He didnt have any trouble keeping the lusus lusus back as it wasnt really that big. He hissed something under his breath and it started to walk away again. When Aridol looked back at invern he quirked an eye “Wait do you have wings?”

“Uh, yeah, you’re just now noticing when I’ve been up here for the past… I don’t know, since I’ve been here?” He scoffed and folded his arms again, with the added flurish of an expertly executed eye roll with just a hint of the head added too.

“Uh…” he blinked for a second his fins flickering “Yeah i guess so” he squinted a little “God tier?” he asked seeming intrested as he walked over to Branch to let him free. Once he started going wild again Aridol quickly pressed several pressure points and Branch suddenly became dead weight. “I cant see too well which is why i…” he paused his fins flicking more as if he was listening before going on “couldnt see them too well”

“Obviously I’m not using psionics here.” He chastised, a hip now cocking out to the side. “Hey. Hey.” He barked, first at Branch for being an idiot and trying to go after the other troll and then at the other troll for incapacitaing Branch. “All of you need to fucking chill, goddamn.”

Aridol raised his hands up after he finished freeing the troll and chuckled some finding his reactions amusing before taking a step back "What should i have kept him chained up or let him attack me? That doesnt sound like a very good idea in my books" he said with an shrug "i may have came off as a bad guy here but im really not...or uh try not to be at least" he spoke with a nonthreatening tone and blinked for a second nefore muttering something under his breath "He didnt attack me" he said turning his head away "Theres no reason to attack him he didnt attack me" his face flushed with embarassment. He could only guess how this would be coming off "Id be no match. I can barely fight on my own. Will you stop bugging me." he reached up and pinched the bridge of his nose closing his eyes as he shook his head "Why do you always suggest these things. You dont need to come out at the worst possible time. You were the one making me do those things i didnt even want to" he mostly began to mutter and then gave himself a hearty punch into the side of his head "shut up shut up shut up and go away" he said with two more punches to the same spot before a long moment of silence he gave a soft sigh "Finally."

“And you smell like something he would fuck, which explains why he’d be all over you.”

He made a scrunched up face at that “Thats disgusting. cant very well do much about the location though because this at least…was my hive before it was attacked” he said his eyes wavering around and then glanced at Branch “Never seen a troll acting like that though this is the first time something like this affected a troll”

“Looks like you’re out in the open. I’d say you should move to someplace that’s, you know, not.” He said like it should be pretty obvious. 

“And have you smelled that oaf? I mean, I’m guessing it’s probably pretty hard guessing you smell like him already, but that’s the point. You smell like him, so, yeah. Of course the asshole’s gonna react that way.”

He opened his miuth to say something else when he heard something behind him and he turned slightly to see something that looked sort of like a mix between an owl and a cat. It gave a hissing sound towards Invern. It looked to be a Lusus of some kind. Obviously not the seadwellwers because its eyes were bright red. Not mutant red but almost. The seadweller stopped it with he hand to keep it from attacking.

Invern took to the sky, his icy teal wings barely visible against the sky as he flew, following the direction Branch had told him.

He didn’t seem to have a care on being stealthy, no for his own sake as anything that could be done to him didn’t matter. The only reason he’d b careful would be for Branch. He hoped he was quick enough that the orange idiot hadn’t been grabbed and he’d be able to distract the seadweller himself.  “Hey!” The doctor called out once in the bubble, taking a moment to scan and get his bearings.

The voice made the seadweller look up from what he was doing and squint for a second to figure out where that was coming from. He dropped whatever he was doing with the chains and quirked an eyebrow “Who the hell are you?

“Someone you don’t want on your bad side.” Invern said and moved closer, staying out of range from any melee weapons like the chain the other had just let go of. “My turn.” He announced like it was some sort of game. “What are you making?”

He quirked an eyebrow and held up a metal arm towards him as if motioning for him to stop “stay back” but as Invern got closer a smell appeared. One that was very musky. A smell that you would normally think of a wild wolf.

He stared at him for a second. Squinting even at his distance. But to his credit his eyes didnt look like they were the healthiest. The right one completely blind and red, the left slightly cloudy he glanced at what he was working on “nothing you need to worry yourself with

“Oh I think it might worry me a little bit there, buddy.” Invern said and decisively put his hands on his hips, taking a wide stance in the air like he was standing on the ground with his feet shoulder-width apart.  “You’re a fucking fish, but you smell like the Big Guy, and I don’t see a pack of any kind ‘round here like he normally keeps. So, something tells me there’s no good going on.” His original eloquent manner of speaking was slipping and his chopped and rough way he used when he solely ran the mob was showing through.

He stared at him for a second "I dont know who the big guy is but i at least tried to make myself smell of bark fiend. Need some way to got get them to attack me. Theres a crap ton out here" he said with a huff "Otherwise if you really want to know im trying to make something to bring out strength within a troll. You know bones denser not doe so easily. Things like that.

Im guessin your one of this creeps buds" he said gestering towards branch "He just was all over me all of a sudden i have no clue why"

Ahnkou ran his hands along Azazel’s back and side, gently palpating his stomach.

Emil kept an eye on the jadeblood feeling a tinge of protectiveness when he watched the trolls hands move across his mates body but then nodded some “Hey. Look on the bright thide to thith. You dont have to puthh out one gigantic egg out of a very small passage way eh?” he snorted some “i mean im thure their big. But tho are you”

Azazel gave a small chuckle and reached out to take one of Emil’s hands, pressing it to his stomach too, out of Ahnkou’s way. “Nope! Not one giant egg is correct.” The haggard jade said with a fanged grin. “There seems to be two of them. Decent size, but I don’t think they’ll cause too much of a problem. They’re not quite ready yet though.”

He gave a soft nod and smiled very gently pressing on and rubbing his belly happily

“Two eggth? Holy crap thath awethome” he said with a soft chuckle and purred deepily

It’s possible there’s one more hiding behind the two, but they’re moving pretty nicely, so it doesn’t seem like there’s a third bunched up in there.” He said with a titter, sitting and pointed to Azazel’s side for Emil to feel, the area he had just been feeling a moment ago.

He nods some and gave azazel a soft kiss as he felt his belly “I love you tho tho much”

“I love you too.” He purred, beaming with utter pride before a contractions over took him with pain and his face crumpled up and he doubled over.

He purrs back and jumped a little when he did that and gently rubbed one of his shoulders "Are you thure they arnt ready yet?" he asked turning towards the jadeblood "why elthe would he be feeling the painth?
