Day Two - Happiness Fakt/PSA

It’s not insomnia. Nat’s had all kinds of tests done on the way she sleeps. The hours she sleeps. She’s just nocturnal. Always has been.

So Habit’s nighttime public service announcements are just weird. And annoying. A reminder she isn’t normal because she isn’t diurnal.

It’s always that cheery chime. The cartoon puppet smiling. The handmade scrawl of “Dr. Habit’s Bedtime Stories for Insomniacs and Bad Children.” Ironic saccharine. It’s something her friends would’ve loved.

It’s something her dad would’ve hated.
