Man, I wish that was me when I first moved here. It took me a week straight to get everything unpacked and organized with a dog under foot too. I think I’ prefer the former over the latter though stay here long enough and you’ll accumulate enough stuff that you’ll no longer be able to make that claim. Great to meet you, I’m Jenna.

Yeah, gotta agree with you on that. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to exercise as well. Then you’re gonna be in for an awesome adventure. What’s your favorite/go to seafood dish? Bear is a French bull dog but I’m not sure what breeds Nora and Jett are because they’re my boyfriend’s originally while Bear’s mine.

I woke up about three thirty yesterday and I had the most random thought in the world I basically went like this: Huh if Dianna ever leaves me it’ll probably be for another woman. I mean, between Glee, Hollow in the Land, Bare, I’m probably missing some, it just wouldn’t surprise me at all. So that insanity is what woke me up at an ungodly hour, what, if anything, has woken up you and was it this random? Also hi I’m Chord, just an all around weirdo that will probably post a billion more weird things like this so brace yourself. 

Who said you could move to my town and not run it by me first? Hmm....I don’t know if Grant and I should have you over. Dianna, of course, is always welcome. She’s one hell of a woman so you’re valid fearing that. Who wouldn’t want to be with her honestly?

Darla and I have finally arrived after our cross country road trip to town. Let me just say, she was the best co-pilot anyone could ask for. Now, as the movers finish up with the heavy lifting at my house, I have a very important question to ask. Who’s got the best, relatively healthy, food in town for this girl to scarf down? I’m starving! 

Depends on whether or not you consider tacos and tequila healthy. If you do, Paco’s Tacos and Tequila over in the Village is my go-to spot. A lot of places make good use of seafood from the bay so if you like it, you’re gonna eat well. Dogs are fantastic, aren’t they? My boyfriend and I have three of our own and they’re precious. I’m Jenna, welcome! Gotta greet a fellow tv musical lady.

I wish I could use the excuse that I’ve been working but I’ve had a lot of free time and spent most of it becoming a full time hermit. It’s about time I came out of my little bubble, though. Oh, I’ve been going through a break-up. My way of dealing with that was to shut myself off for a little bit. I ended up having to move in with my best friend but I’m feeling better and trying to find my own place again now. I love the rodeo just to watch people! Seeing everyone dressed up as cowboys and girls is pretty fun, too. I usually end up getting drunk and cheering or booing people who ride the bull depending on how good or bad they are. Exactly! If they talk a big game then suck then it’s an open invitation to give them shit.

That sucks, I’m sorry to hear that. If you’re ever in the mood for a Ladies’ Night out, let me know. I’m gonna be around for awhile. Do you know which area your thinking about moving to? If you need help, let me know. I’ll even get Grant to help out. People do look really great when they dress up. I’m so looking forward to seeing what people pull out for Halloween. I have some ideas already but they require tossing couples’ costumes out of the window. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that way.

Finally decided to crawl out of my hole and actually start being sociable again. I know I’ve missed a few things here and there so can I just do one big collective congratulations to everyone who’s gotten engaged or pregnant or anything else that warrants one? It’s been a weird month but the rodeo is my favourite time of year so there was no way I was missing out. Everyone knows it’s my time to get drunk and watch everyone else being cowboys. Who’s signed up for the mechanical bull? Anyone convinced they’re actually going to be good at it? Because, if you are and you suck at it then I’m giving you so much crap for it. Be ready.

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who hasn’t been socializing much. I’ve been working too much lately. Flying a lot and not for fun certainly has it downsides. The only living creatures who’ve seen me at all in town are my boyfriend and dogs. I gotta change that sooner rather than later for sure. What’s kept you from socializing if you don’t mind me asking? The rodeo is always a good time though this year I’m just watching people participate instead of joining in. I don’t feel like getting bruised. Is anyone ever good at riding a mechanical bull though? I do approve of giving shit because they talked a big game then failed to follow through.

“One way, huh?” Grant smirked and kissed her cheek again. He shimmied his shoulders and hummed at her idea. “Take this whole town by storm with our skating skills? I like it,” he said, holding her hand as they continued to skate together. “Well, I will give you this one, because you are a million times more amazing than me, miss,” he grinned, before pulling her close into another kiss.

“A badass skating couple, what’s not awesome about that?” They’d totally be badass skating around town and showing off their skills. Jenna blushed. Even after all of this time, he can still get her with compliments. Leaning up, she kissed him gently, being aware of their location and balancing on their skates. “You wanna get a pretzel with cheese and something to drink?” She’s worked up a bit of an appetite and there’s nothing better than a salty soft pretzel with cheese.

“That is very true, little attention seekers they are. Always,” Grant shook his head laughing. He looked over at her and smirked. “Well, with you? I’m always up for trying something new,” he said, watching her. Grant skated forward a bit, holding out his arms as he spun around, then when he managed not to fall over, he skated towards Jenna again and reached for her hand. “Is this something new I get to learn about you?” he grinned. “You’re an extremely talented skate-dancer?”

“That’s definitely one way to keep me happy,” she winked at him. She loved how flirty they could be after how long they’ve been together. Jenna watched Grant then couldn’t help clapping when he spun once without falling over. She took his hand, moving closer so they weren’t stretching so far. “Very good, babe; with some practice we could take this show outside in the summer after we get some roller blades and skate around town.” She laughed. “Of course, We can’t have you being good at everything, now can we?”

Yeah, that usually does the trick or in combination with an ice pack and a dark room. Ooh, yeah there’s no coming out of that one unscathed for sure. Appreciate these moments, they won’t last forever as my mom likes to tell me constantly.

I love being a father and I love my boys but this has got to be the worst part, not even the diapers were like this. On the other end though, the tired cuddles with the little sniffles are kinda worth it or am I crazy? @townofbayview

Oh boy, hopefully the headache you get won’t be too bad at the end of it. What brought on this emotional display? Here I thought my furry babies were a handful sometimes. Oh the cuddles are the greatest, my niece likes to cuddle with me after her tantrums.

And I don’t mind that at all,” Grant smiled and laughed softly. “You mean after they try to all take a nap on the same one… until one of them decides to nap on our bed instead so we come home to a ball of fluff on our comforter?” he grinned and leaned over to kiss her. Their dogs loved to cuddle, which made them even more cute. “Considering this is very different than normal dancing, a little bit, yes.” Grant was a pretty good dancer, but adding wheels was a completely different story. “You doing alright there too, Jen?”

Jenna smiled at Grant as she thought about their furry children she loved so much. “Eh, their cuteness and affection makes up for the extra work and they know it. Jenna returned the kiss, equally as lovingly. “Afraid of trying something new or the possibility of the new thing making you look like a fool, babe?” She let go of his hand then did a couple of spins in place. “I’m doing fantastic, to answer your question. I’ve done this before.”

I’m starting to realize that, though I’ve only moved a couple of times in my life. Thankfully when I moved out of my place in Los Angeles at the end of Thrones I just left everything there. Decided to rent it out to people who might be staying there in the near future, had a company go pack up anything personal, put it in storage. Saved me a lot of trouble. Are they? I think I could possibly bribe a couple of my good friends that are in town, especially with food and drink, but time will tell. If not I’ll Pinterest how to make boxes into home decor and call it a day. It was odd but I’m going to take it as an oversight, they put together the shelving in my closet so I’m not complaining – much. They did also move in all the boxes. They said they’d come back this week and assemble it if needed unless I can manage myself or something along those lines. Maybe, after I adjust some, I wouldn’t be opposed to rescuing a little pup that needs a home. Aw, I’d love that. I love animals so really, anyone who is willing to let me spend time with their animals is a soon to be a good friend. No one doesn’t love a 2-1 deal. Hi Jenna! Pleasure to meet you. Was a big fan of you on Glee, actually, you were probably my favorite. 

That’s a good idea, to rent your place out so you didn’t have to move big and bulky items. I should have thought about that. Though, I’m lucky my place sold fairly quickly. Yeah, we definitely are and it’s also a great way to make new friends. Why limit your pool of helpers to just people you already know? I suppose with everything that’s on there, you’d probably find some decent ideas. Well, that’s certainly good to hear at least. In the meantime, other people’s pets are totally an option. For example, my boyfriend and I have several dogs who love people. Wow, oh wow....that’s quite the compliment coming from the Mother of Dragons. Thank you!

“You know it,” Grant winked at her. “Your favorite pillow in our whole house, and we have what, like fifteen of them?” he chuckled, still teasing her as they made their way over to the smaller rink. “You’re my favorite one to cuddle too, by the way. Just don’t tell the dogs that, or they might actually pout at us,” he grinned. “You got it,” he said, giving her hand a squeeze as he started moving along the rink slowly to get the rhythm of their skating. “Look at us, not falling over!”

“What can I say? I love fluff and comfort.” Jenna grins at him. “Oh dear no, I’d never let them in on your little secret. Though, we did leave the children at home alone so the house may be in shambles by the time we get back especially my pillows.” What can she say? The dogs take after her when it comes to pillows. “You’re doing great, Grant. Do you feel your hips and legs starting to find the rhythm needed to propel you forward balanced?”

“I will kiss all your bruises better, since if you go down with me, we’ll probably be laughing for a good five minutes before getting back up. And if we do fall over and you fall on me, that means you’ll at least have me as a soft of pillow” Grant joked, grinning and he kissed her cheek. “We already know it’s inevitable!” he looked at her as he finally was able to stand up a little straighter. “I’ll follow your lead,” he said, taking tiny steps with her. Holding onto the railing. “Alright, let’s do this,” Grant stepped in carefully holding onto Jenna’s hand still.

One thing about Grant that Jenna loved is how easy he helped her enjoyed the small moments and simple things in life. “I’ll hold you to that, mister. You can count on it.” For all of her bravado, she’s not convinced Grant will be the first one to go down but she won’t admit it out loud. “Ah yes, the Grant Pillow ™. The best pillow money can’t buy, so amazingly comfortable there can only be one in existence.” She smiled at him then carefully gave his hand a squeeze. “Come on, we’ve got this. We’ll do a few laps then go get a soft pretzel with cheese.”

“So I just wanted to give you a heads-up that I’m really, really awkward with rollerskating,” Grant grinned at Jenna as he fixed his laces and grinned. Date night going rollerskating? He’d probably make himself look ridiculous, it was harder than it looked. Sure, he was good on his feet but add wheels to his feet and he’d probably be a mess. “How much do you want to bet that I’m going to be the first to fall over?” he asked her, getting up slowly and carefully, already flailing his arms to keep himself balanced.

Jenna took his hand in hers and gave it a squeeze. “Well, good thing you have me to keep you upright and stable.” It’s been awhile since she’s been skating but it’s like riding a bike, she won’t forget how. “Though, if you end up taking me out, you’ll have to kiss the inevitable bruises. I’ve seen some people fall and get bruised.” She laughed at his comment. “Oh babe, that’s a sucker’s bet if I ever heard one.” Jenna stood up on her skates and wobbled a bit before finding her equilibrium. “Do you wanna practice working on it, in the kid’s ring in the middle of floor?”

Unpacking will forever be the bane of my existence – like it is for many people. I’m surrounded by boxes and don’t have a clue of where to begin. Do I start in the kitchen? Living room? Bedroom? The only things that are in full available use are my larger pieces of furniture, aside from my bed. Somehow the people who moved it in neglected to put the bed together but did put one hell of a cabinet system together in my walk-in closet. Which means until further notice my arse will be sleeping on the mattress on the floor or the downstairs couch.  It being so quiet in the home also isn’t helping, leaving my baby girl Roxy behind with my mum was the hardest decision to make, but the right one. So, if someone could point me in the direction of a really good meal or drink, I’ll praise you forever. I’m Emilia and I’m choosing to become the Mother of Procrastination since moving here. 

It is rather ridiculous and it never gets better no matter how many times a person moves. Lots of people in town are susceptible to bribes of food and liquor in exchange for helping to unpack.  Gotta say that that is odd, they forgot to do your bed. Whenever you’re ready, there are some great places in town to adopt a pet and in the meantime, there’s a lot of us with pets who’d be happy to let to hang out with them. Paco’s Tacos and Tequila is the best place to get both. Who doesn’t like a 2-1 deal? Fantastic to meet you, I’m Jenna.

I’m sure fans would love to see a very heavily pregnant Serena waddling around the Upper East Side but I probably won’t be returning for the reboot of Gossip Girl. I’m very sorry to all the fans that were looking forward to that but I don’t think I need to return. I’m sure everyone would rather see new stories and characters continue that world. What are your thoughts on the reboot? I’m genuinely curious. Would you be in it if you were asked? I wanna know more thoughts on this.

Fans grow attached to characters after years, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they did want to see that. There’s something to be said about reboots for shows with new characters and stories. It would be cool to have mentions of the original show though. I don’t think there’d be a reboot of Glee for many reasons including it had its time and place. Not to mention, what we went through as a cast. As for being in the Gossip Girl reboot, if I got the chance...I think I’d take it because I haven’t done a show like that before.
