Among many historical events, Asan Beach was part of the landing area used by the United States on July 21, 1944 to recapture Guam from the Japanese.
Now, the best place on island to fly kites =)
Isa, over looking Talofofo Bay, Guam.
The village probably derives its name from the phrase “entalo’ i fe’fo’,” which means between the cliffs. It’s possible that the name is derived from another word, “fo’fo’,” which means a bubbling spring. As the Talofofo River and the Talofofo Falls are located in the village, the name could mean “between the bubbling springs.” Guampedia.
My favorite memories come from getting lost in caves and bouldering.

Winter is about to walk out of my life in a week +/- some days. Ready or not. Not.
Spotted Vladimir Ilyich Lenin and a "Crazy Clock" atop Red Square apartments on 250 East Houston Street between Ave. A & B.
After the fall of the USSR, the statue was never officially unveiled. Co-owner Micheal Shaoul's associate found the statue in the backyard of a dacha outside of Moscow and since then has been part of the building in 1994. Micheal Rosen, radical socialist turned real estate developer, along with Shaoul, created post cards that read "Greetings from Red Square". The Lenin Statue faces Wall Street, capitalism's emblem, and the LES, "the home of the socialist movement".
The clock numbers are arranged: 12, 4, 9, 6, 1, 10, 5, 11, 7, 2, 3, and 8. M & Co. "Askew" design with random, out-of-sequence numbers was from a watch featured in the Museum of Modern Art collection.
Now that's how you make a statement.
A hundred and eighteen year old Lady Liberty sits on Liberty Island, between New Jersey and New York, as the result of the French and American friendship established during the American Revolution. Aside from international friendship, Lady Liberty now symbolizes democracy and freedom in America.
The Statue of Liberty is the quintessence of Girl Power.
It's difficult not to love this steel skeleton, triangular geometric, Italian Renaissance architecture feel building. If you look closely, you can see lion heads, Greek faces, and fleur de lis engraved in its limestone and terracotta cladding.
The Flatiron is such a beaut.
