LET đ RETAIL đ EMPLOYEES đ SIT đ
The only major chain retail store that I know of that allows their cashiers to sit is the Aldi grocery store, a German chain. Their starting pay is also $12 an hour chain-wide.
The interior of the store looks like this so they save money on the annoying shelf restocking. Products remain in their boxes until being removed by customers. No unboxing and putting stuff on shelves, and constantly having to rearrange it. Also, the boxes make inventory a breeze as a sealed box has a defined number of items in it.Â
Typical American grocery stores have shelves like this
Every item has to be unboxed and neatly stacked on the shelves. If they get messed up by the customers, everything has to be rearranged back to specific rigid order. When you have to verify the inventory, every item has to be removed from the shelves to be counted and put back. Aldiâs also do not have plastic bags. You can buy reusable bags or simply use the empty cardboard boxes that are available.
Last is the carts. Most grocery stores have their carts strewn across the parking lots, rolling around and hitting cars until a store employee is sent out to collect them, after being yelled at by the manager when they were told to do other tasks in the meantime. Aldiâs chains those carts together and you have to put a Quarter in to release it. When you are done, you plug the chain back in and get your Quarter back. If others are lazy, you can collect and return the loose carts and collect the Quarters.Â
It stops thisâŠ
Then the employees have to do this
reblogging this because I love Alidis
european here,
american customers really fucking leave their trolleys all over the goddamn place like that?
really??
whatâs funny is theyâre trying to take away chairs in offices too, but brand it as a âhealth decisionâ with standing desks.

shading colour tips
hey yall its me the Art Momâą to help you shade pretty
rule 1: DO NOT SHADE WITH BLACK. EVER. IT NEVER LOOKS GOOD.Â
red- shade with a slightly darker shade of purple
orange- slightly darker and more saturated shade of red
yellow- i think like..a peach could work but make it a really light peach
green- shade with darker and less saturated shade of blue or teal
blue- shade with purple
purple- a shade thats darker than the purple youâre using and maybe a little pink (MAYBE blue)
pink- darker shade of red
white- a really light lavender or blue..or i guess any really light colour??
black- okay listen dont use pure black to colour anything unless you want to leave it with flat colours because you cant really shade black lol
grey- a slightly darker shade of purple or blue (less saturated)
brown- slightly darker and less saturated shade of purple or red
aaaaand thats all i got lol. let me know if there is anything i should add to this list!!
If youâre a visual learnerâŠ

Youâve heard of the seven deadly sins, now get ready for the seven deadly doggos.
This blog did not and will not send requests for bitcoin donations.
There seems to be a virus or some sort of malware going around causing blogs to âsend outâ chat messages to blogs that they follow asking for help with the purchase of certain items through donations of seemingly small amounts using bitcoin and adds a link to the message.
The message goes as following (at least the first message I got went like this): âHi there buddy. I need help, Iâm trying to buy a laptop and I canât afford it. Iâm about 0.36$ short, and Iâd really appreciate if you could help me and transfer some money to me via bitcoin using this *link*.â
The small details in the message seems to have a few variations with the greeting, amount and purchased item showing up in different variations from formal to friendly, from 0.016 to 2$ and from a phone case to a laptop among others.
The blogs that are affected send out the messages to blogs that they follow for a long time mostly, so you are most likely to receive the message from a long time, active follower whose name you might recognize or a mutual etc. The blogs that are affected are not spam bots but actual active followers who follow the recipient for months or years and most likely the blogger who âsentâ the message is unaware of the message being sent.
DO NOT OPEN THE LINK.
Opening up the link will cause the virus to spread even more and infect your computer/mobile with any sort of malware.
If you have received a message of that sort from this blog please know that it was not sent by me or within my control and ignore/delete the message without clicking the link.
I just got this thing on another blog FIVE MINUTES AGO,
Iâve had 100 of these this morning. Iâm afraid Iâll be closing my IMs to mutuals for a while because I already canât handle the amount of mail I get without this. Please check your IMs, change your passwords, turn on two-factor-authentication (I know it seems like a pain in the ass but if itâs an option, always do it) and run your antivirus and anti malware.
Malwarebytes is a good, free (with paid upgrade available) anitmalware software for Windows, and is now available for Mac and Android as well, just in case you need a recommendation. The version on my phone has been screaming at me all morning every time I try to open tumblr. Something ainât right fam, protect yourselves and your friends.
I just got one of these messages, luckily I saw this and didnât open it, please be careful everyone!
this is too real though
SNL has pretty much never given any fucks but lately theyâre at the point of giving negative fucks
The FCC will soon vote to kill net neutrality. But Congress can stop them if they hear from constituents now.
Yesterday afternoon the House subcommittee that provides Congressional oversight for the FCC held an important hearing about the agencyâs current plans, including current Chairman (and former Verizon lawyer) Ajit Paiâs move to gut Title II net neutrality protections that prevent ISPs from controlling what we do online with throttling, censorship, and extra fees.
With Capitol Hillâs attention now on the FCC, and Paiâs final plan to gut net neutrality protections expected in the coming weeks, itâs extra important that Congress gets flooded with phone calls from Internet users telling them to stand up and defend the open Internet.
Weâre also hearing there are key members of Congress considering whether to step in and force Pai to slow down. This means best chance to stop the FCC from breaking the fundamental principle that makes the Internet awesome is to pound Congress with phone calls right now.
You can call your reps easily with just one click here: battleforthenet.com
Youâll see a script on your screen, or you can say something like this:
âI support Title Two net neutrality rules and I urge you to oppose the FCCâs plan to repeal them. Specifically, Iâd like you to contact the FCC Chairman and demand he abandon his current plan.â
You can also just call this number directly and enter your zipcode to get connected to your legislators: 202-930-8550.
If you run a website, blog, tumblr, or forum, help spread the word by putting up a sticky post, or use one of these widgets, ads, or banners: https://www.battleforthenet.com/#join
Ajit Pai is expected to circulate the text of his rule killing net neutrality on November 22, the day before Thanksgiving. Once that happens, it will move to a vote at the FCCâs open meeting in December, and it will become much much harder to stop him.
Itâs clear that the FCC remains set on killing net neutrality. But Congress can stop the FCC from gutting the rules that keep the web open, affordable, and awesome.
Idgaf if this isnât my theme weâre losing this fight tell your family tell your friends l e t â s g o
I canât stress enough how important this is. I rarely deviate from my surreal meme theme but this is something that canât be ignored. This decision will affect the whole world!
REMINDER THAT GETTING RID OF NET NEUTRALITY WILL HURT:
- SMALL BUSINESSES
How will they be able to advertise things when theyâre just starting out, and how many people will be able to see it? How many people will be willing to buy things online if they already have to pay for access to the site?
- SCHOOLS
Any school with computers will have to pay money for internet access. Otherwise students wonât be able to work on any projects in class, and they will have to rely on home internet access. Lots of school funding will be used for paying this!
- PEOPLE SEEKING MEDICAL/FINANCIAL AID ONLINE
It is common on this site and on many others to see people asking for aid. Imagine what will happen to these people if they have to pay to go onto this site, and imagine how many people will see their posts. Imagine how many people will still have the money to help them.
- STUDENTS
Any kind of research paper will be a pain to write, regardless of your grade level. I have to turn in almost all of my homework online, and nothing is allowed to be handwritten. This will make college more expensive, too, and thatâs already too much for anyone to pay for without student loans.
- ANYONE LOOKING FOR A JOB ONLINE
Nobody wants to pay an extra $50 dollars a month to sign up for job applications. It is also standard to have an email, so if you no longer have access to it, that can cost you a job, even if you arenât signing up for it online.
- ARTISTS
Many artists already have trouble getting people to buy commissions. A lack of exposure and a lack of money will not help.
- YOUTUBERS
I donât really go on youtube anymore, but I know for a fact that this will effect the amount of views (and therefore the amount of money) theyâll get for their videos. This will effect youtubers worldwide, and the U.S. is filled with tons of viewers!
- PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
Lots of people rely on the internet to vent or to escape. Imagine if they were suddenly told that they arenât able to do that anymore. Imagine what will happen if theyâre suddenly cut off from their friends online.
- LIBRARIES
Libraries would have to put even more funding into internet access, and if they canât pay for it, it will be a serious inconvenience to many, many people. People who go to the library to use the computers often donât have a computer at home.
Call the FCC and senators. Write an email. Send a letter. DO SOMETHING.
Tumblr doesnât care about Net Neutrality anymore.
Letâs take a look at some screenshots of an article I was reading earlier todayâŠ
Keyword: was. They donât support net neutrality anymore. Why you ask? wellâŠ
Tumblr is owned by Yahoo. Now that Verizon (a company that hates net neutrality) bought Yahoo, they have demanded that Tumblr must stop supporting net neutrality too. The Tumblr staff has stopped posting about net neutrality.
This site is being forced to hate net neutrality. (article link)
this is why all those net neutrality posts are disappearing from your feeds. donât let it do so
Hey what the fuck happened to all the net neutrality coverage
This shit is still happening people, and all of the sudden its disappeared from my dash almost entirely over night
I donât know why, but I think people are automatically being unfollowed from the Net Neutrality tag. It happens to me every time I try to follow it. Iâll follow the tag, come back 20 minutes later & Iâll for some reason have unfollowed the tag automatically. I think this may be happening to a majority of people in an attempt to silence the resistance. Please take a screen shot of this post in case it gets deleted.
hey yeah can yall reblog this cause this is very important. Tumblr is ACTIVELY trying to silence out outrage at this by making us incapable of seeing coverage of events. Weâre all gonna have to come together and step up about this.
Every little note counts, spread the word, dont give in so easily
I just checked this and i can CONFIRM that tumblr AUTOMATICALLY MAKES YOU UNFOLLOW THE NET NEUTRALITY TAGS AFTER 20 MINUTES
Please spread the word! Screen shot this post just in case it gets deleted!!
There is a reason that happens. Tumblr is OWNED by Verizon who is a leader in throwing money at getting rid of Net Neutrality. They have spent literally millions to bring it down so that they can charge you more, slow down your internet and block you from sites they do not deem appropriate. Keep sending in letters, emails and making phone calls. IF you post about it ADD links for FS!
