𝕞𝕪 𝕓𝕠𝕪 𝕠𝕟𝕝𝕪 𝕓𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕤 𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕗𝕒𝕧𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕖 𝕥𝕠𝕪𝕤
(Dark!Bucky Barnes x f!reader)
Summary: When she meets him, it’s quiet, he’s perfect, until he isn’t. She comes from a small town to NYC, hopes and dreams burning red, and he sees it, he wants to drown in the crimson… of her blood.
Warnings: dark!Bucky, blood play, smut, gaslighting, dubcon, kidnapping, physical and psychological abuse, violence, reader is described as sweet/innocent, reader is described as she/her I don’t use you/yn, some descriptions of dark eyes/hair may be included at some point but not always
Part 2
The elevator ride up felt endless, the city lights sliding past like falling stars. She stepped out onto the rooftop—private, high above the West Village noise, borrowed or claimed through whatever quiet means Bucky had. Warm bulbs strung across the iron railing cast a golden haze; a small table waited, candles flickering in glass holders, two plates set.
The air was crisp post-rain, scented now with garlic, tomatoes simmering low, fresh basil.
Bucky was already there, sleeves rolled to his elbows, metal arm catching the light in faint silver flashes as he stirred a pan over a portable burner. Simple sauce—red, rich, bubbling like slow blood.
He looked up when her heels clicked on the concrete, and the hunger struck him twice over.
Burgundy.
The dress wrapped her like liquid night—deep wine-red, off-shoulder neckline slipping low to bare the delicate line of her collarbone and the soft swell above. Sleeves fallen loose down her arms, pooling at her elbows like surrendered silk, exposing skin that glowed under the strung lights. Loose hair framed her face; red lips curved in a small, surprised smile. She looked vivid, alive, breakable in the best way. His pulse thudded hard—first the familiar thirst: her blood warm beneath that skin, pulsing proof she was real, his to draw and taste and keep forever. Then the sharper ache: raw want, the man in him craving to press her against the railing, map every inch of exposed shoulder with his mouth, feel her shiver and arch under his hands while the city glittered unknowing below. She thawed the cold inside him. He wanted to consume her slowly—body and blood—so she could never slip away.
She crossed the space, sleeves slipping further with each step, burgundy shifting like spilled wine. “You cook on rooftops? I’m impressed.”
He set the spoon aside, wiped his hands, eyes tracing the fallen sleeve, the bare curve of her shoulder.
“Told you I’d bring dinner, besides, it’s private. No interruptions.” His voice came low, rougher than before. “Come here.”
She did—bold stride, but softer now, the city wind lifting her hair. He met her halfway, hand sliding to her waist, thumb brushing the fabric where it clung. Warmth seeped through; her pulse fluttered under his palm like a trapped bird. He leaned in, lips grazing her temple. “That color on you… it’s dangerous.”
A quiet laugh, breath catching. “Burgundy’s just a dress.”
“No.” His fingers traced the slipped sleeve, pushing it down a fraction more—exposing more skin, more vulnerability. Hunger darkened his gaze: soldier control fraying, man wanting to claim. “It’s you burning. And I’m cold. Always have been.”
He guided her to the table, pulled out her chair. She sat; scarlet pooling around her, sleeves draped over the back now, shoulders bare under candle glow. He served: pasta twirled onto her fork, sauce clinging red and glossy.
Watched her take the first bite—lips parting, tongue catching a drop—and the dual thirst coiled tighter. Blood he’d draw later; body he wanted now.
“You’re staring again,” she teased, cheeks flushed from wine he poured or from the heat in his eyes.
“Can’t help it.” He sat across, plate untouched. “You’re the only thing warm up here.”
He reached across, thumb wiping sauce from her lip—lingering, pressing just enough to feel her breath quicken. Hunger burned: taste her, keep her, break her open only to hold every piece. For now, he fed her another bite, watched burgundy dress and red lips meet, memorized every flicker.
The place seemed to hold its breath as the city glittered far below—endless rivers of light, indifferent and beautiful, like stars that had forgotten how to fall. She set her fork down, the pasta half-eaten, sauce still staining her lips a deeper red. The dress had slipped further; one sleeve dangled uselessly at her elbow, the other pooled at her wrist, leaving her shoulders bare to the cool night air and to his gaze.
She felt the weight of it—Bucky’s stare, dark and steady, tracing every inch of exposed skin like he was memorizing a map only he could read. The dual hunger in his eyes made her stomach flutter: something primal, something possessive, but wrapped in a gentleness that kept her from pulling away.
Standing slowly, heels clicking once on the concrete, she walked to the railing. The wind lifted her hair, sent it dancing across her bare back, leaning forward just enough to feel the drop, the dizzying height, the illusion of freedom.
Bucky followed without a word. He stopped behind her—close enough that she felt the heat of him before his body touched hers, chest brushing back; one hand settled lightly on her waist, the other braced on the railing beside hers. Metal and flesh. Cold and warm.
Her head turned slightly, caught his eye over her shoulder. “You’re quiet tonight,” she said, voice soft but edged with that small-town boldness she wore like lipstick. “What are you thinking?”
He didn’t answer right away. Instead, he leaned in, nose brushing the curve of her neck where skin met cloth. He inhaled—slow, deliberate—like he was drinking her in. Her scent: faint vanilla from her skin, the sharp sweetness of red wine on her breath, the clean warmth of her pulse beneath it all. His exhale ghosted over her collarbone, raising goosebumps.
“Thinking you smell like something I’ve been missing my whole life,” he murmured, voice rough velvet. His nose traced a slow line along her collarbone—gentle, reverent—then up to the nape of her neck, where her hair parted. “Like home. Like heat. Like mine.”
Her breath hitched. She tilted her head, giving him more without thinking, her heart hammered loud enough she was sure he could hear it.
Then she turned fully in his arms, back to the railing, city lights haloing her from behind. Burgundy slipped another fraction; her bare shoulder gleamed under the strung bulbs. Irises looked up at him—indigo winter eyes locked on hers
She rose on her toes, fingers curling into the front of his shirt, and kissed him.
Soft at first—testing, tasting the salt and grape on his lips. Then deeper, hungrier, her tongue brushing his as she pressed closer. He groaned low in his throat, the sound vibrating against her mouth, and his hands slid up her back—metal one cool, flesh one burning—cradling her like something precious.
He kissed back with careful intensity: slow, thorough, never overwhelming. One hand cupped the nape of her neck, thumb stroking the soft skin there; the other splayed across her lower back, holding her flush against him. He broke the kiss only to trail his lips along her jaw, down to that same collarbone he’d traced before.
“So fucking beautiful,” he whispered against her skin, voice thick. “Look at you, doll… burning brighter than every light down there.” The word—doll—slipped out gentle, almost surprised, like it had been waiting on his tongue all night. He said it again, softer: “My doll.”
A shiver ran down her spine—not from cold, but from the way he said it: possessive, tender, reverent. His nose brushed her neck again, inhaling deep, lips grazing the pulse point where her heartbeat raced for him.
She pulled back just enough to look at him—cheeks flushed, lips swollen and redder from the kiss and the sauce earlier. “You keep calling me that,” she murmured, fingers still tangled in his shirt. “Doll. Like I’m something fragile you want to keep on a shelf.”
Bucky’s eyes softened, thumb brushing her cheekbone. “Not fragile. Precious. Something rare I don’t want to let the city swallow up.” He rested his forehead against hers, breathing her in. “I’ve spent too long in the cold. You’re the first thing in years that feels… warm. Alive. Like color that won’t fade.”
Her heart squeezed at the quiet honesty in his voice, lifted a hand to his jaw, tracing the stubble there. “You make me feel seen,” she said softly. “Not just looked at. Seen. Like the red isn’t just clothing to you—it’s me.”
“It is you.” He pressed a slow kiss to her temple, then another to the corner of her mouth. “And I’m already ruined for anything else.”
They stayed like that a long moment—bodies pressed close, wind tugging at her fallen sleeves, city lights twinkling indifferent below. He swayed them gently, almost like a slow dance with no music, just the hum of distant traffic and their breathing.
“Tell me something true,” she whispered, echoing their café talk. “What scares you most?”
Bucky exhaled against her hair. “Losing the warmth once I’ve found it.” His arms tightened fractionally. “I don’t do halfway, doll. If I let you in… you stay.”
She smiled against his neck. “Good. Because I’m not planning on disappearing.”
He pulled back to meet her eyes—ice-blue melting into something softer. “Then stay a little longer tonight?”
She nodded. “As long as you keep kissing me like that.”
He laughed low—rare, real—and obliged: another slow, lingering kiss that tasted like sauce and wine. When they finally parted, both breathing harder, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Come on,” he murmured. “Let’s finish the pasta before it’s cold. I didn’t cook for nothing.”
They returned to the table hand-in-hand. He fed her another bite, thumb wiping sauce from her lip again—this time with a soft smile instead of raw hunger.
As the candles burned low and the sauce was gone, Bucky walked her to the elevator. At the doors, he kissed her forehead, then her lips—soft, lingering.
“Get home safe, doll,” he said. “Text me when you do.”
“I will.” She squeezed his hand. “Thank you for tonight. For the food. For… this.”
He watched her step inside, eyes never leaving until the doors closed.
Later, in her apartment, she slipped out of the burgundy dress, leaving it draped over a chair, paint on surface, curled under the covers, the buzzing on her nightstand made her turn around though
Bucky: Home safe?
Safe. Still tasting your kiss
Bucky: Good. That’s the plan. Can’t stop thinking about your lips on mine. You okay?
More than okay. Smiling like an idiot in bed. You?
Bucky: Same. You’re trouble, doll. The best kind. Sleep sweet, doll. Dream of me.
Already am. Night, Bucky
She set the phone down, smile lingering soft and sleepy on her face. His voice echoed in her mind and the warmth spread through her chest like slow red wine. She drifted off wrapped in memory, city lights flickering faint through her window.
///
The next morning, a knock at her door. A delivery: a small bouquet of deep red roses, tied in black ribbon. The card read, in his neat handwriting:
“Red stays. Let’s make more memories. Walk in the park with me next weekend? Saturday, noon—Central Park, Bethesda Terrace. Wear something vivid. I’ll bring coffee.
—Bucky”
She pressed a rose to her lips, smiling wider.
Yes. Definitely yes.
genuine writers getting wrongly accused of using ai because of witch hunt and proper grammar/structure in their works must be what being a woman in the 1600s who is wrongly accused of being a witch because she can read and is intelligent feels like
I don't need AI to write. I can create fake scenarios in my head perfectly fine myself.
Happy birthday, Bucky. 🎂🎉

It all started the first time you saw him walking out of Charles’ office.
You were chatting with Jean; she was doing her best to explain how you should concentrate and put aside your power when it came to talking, when a big shadow and a thick voice distracted you.
“Yes, Charles!” Squawked the man. “You don’t have to repeat it every time we see each other.”
“You know I’m right, Logan. And yet, you still decide to ignore me.”
Jean stopped talking and both of you observed the scene with interest.
“Fuck it, professor.” He haughty spat and walked in the opposite direction, right to the closest door.
“He should apologize for talking to him like that, don’t you think?” You whispered to Jean, to which she only nodded.
The man, Logan –as Charles called him, abruptly stopped and turned to see the blue eyed, confusion all over his face. Both men turned to see you as if it was the first time.
Then again, it was for one of them.

Damned if I do ya (Damned if I don't) - Steve Rogers smut
The one where Steve has been your one constant but now that you're both in college, things are about to change.
Warnings: smut, innocent!reader, college!au, small age gap, innocence kink, sexual advances from third-parties without proper preparation but with consent, fuckboy!Steve, jealousy, possessiveness, fingering
Word count: 4.6k
You’d been the most important person in Steve’s life for as long as he could remember. Having been born in the family that lived right next door to his house, you two grew up together, and being two years younger than him meant you were the closest thing to a little sister that he had.
He was your lifeline, even when he was nothing but a scrawny kid getting beat up by bullies - anything to protect you. And you were his reason to smile, the one person who could get him to do anything and everything you wanted just as long as it’d make you happy.
Which is why it was so fucking hard for the both of you when the time came for him to go to college and you remained at your hometown, exchanging letters “like some goddamn army wife” (your words, not his) while he partied as a freshman and then a sophomore, taking advantage of the blessed growth spurt puberty had given him.
Not me, finally writing a part two to this... 👀
Not me, thinking about this exact fic last week and forgetting it was yours and now getting a part two. 😭
