At first glance something sets you apart, moments later you captured my heart.

Childish teasing, conversations so real. Words cannot indicate the rush I did feel.

Minutes became hours and days become weeks, breathless moments waiting to speak.

It’s almost like I couldn’t be without, sitting in sadness and bearing a pout.

Not a care where you came from or who’s property you were, heart rapidly beating, emotions a stir.

Two souls embraced in such deep commotion, I am soaked in heat and love drinking your potion.

I can guarantee vibes like this don’t occur often, you cracked my heart and continue to soften.

I figured writing this poem would aid in starting anew, here without, I’m seemingly blue.

Saying goodbye would be like cutting a chord, I am a winner whose heart you have scored.

So I ask you sincerely to forgive in your heart, and this simple rhyme can create our new start.

Yes, I could imagine life without you being mine, it would be empty and so would my mind.

Please return to the lips that call for you near, say those sweet words I yearn to hear.

Remember our touches, always so right. Live in those moments. Follow our light.

Maybe you don’t have to fall in love with someone. Maybe you can just fall in love with moments.
