celinehq:
when she sang, nothing else seemed to matter. she loved the freedom it gave her and it was no secret that the woman loved creating visual masterpieces to match it. however, when it came down to it, it was celine’s pure TALENT that had got her where she was; the gimmicks had been useful at the time but she was now tired of them. she nodded towards the other as she continued to sing, urging her to join in more. people assumed that celine was a diva but she was anything but that. her priorities were slowly changing but that didn’t mean that she didn’t get lost on the way at times. “oh my goodness, stop it.” she broke off from the song to urge the young artist to stop fangirling over her before picking the melody right up. as the younger one joined in, celine began to clap in rhythm as she added a harmony while the other took the main melody. it was never a competition with her and she wanted to make that very clear. the chorus soon faded out and the woman found herself applauding. “now that takes me back…”
jo thought that the ride would be awkward and strange, but as she sang at the top of her lungs with one of her biggest idols, she couldn’t feel anything but bliss. perhaps celine might’ve been feeling differently, but jo was out here living her best life. she forgot about the cameras and the events and why she was even out there in the first place, all until the song began to reach an end. ‘ oh my god, that was amazing! ’ she laughed ecstatically, taking a quick sip of the water she’d retrieved earlier. the driver agreed enthusiastically and she shook her head, not ready for the next song. ‘ oh god, i think you probably know already, but your music? amazing. ’ she said. ‘ sorry if this too forward, or anything, but do you have any advice? for me? ’ she asked, still on her high. she wanted wisdom from celine herself, how to succeed, how to make music, how to make hits. anything, really – even how to make coffee or tie shoelaces, jo would be glad to hear.
