“There is some nice pieces,” Jace quickly told the other with a smile as he looked back toward the woman he was speaking with. He knew exactly who she was. He actually looked up to her. When he was just a kid from Boston he use to listen to her and watch how she was just herself and he wanted to be like that some day well now he’s here. He looked up to a lot of gay icons and she happened to be one of them. He was quietly pulling himself together reminding himself she was just a person like him. He didn’t want to fan out in front of the whole room. “Y-you want to get me a drink?” Who was he? Cause in this moment he wasn’t the confident man no it was like the scared sixteen year old was meeting her and not the man he turned into.
it was odd how some people went quiet when speaking to her; it was flattering but it also reminded her of how isolating fame was. most of celine’s friends were part of the industry, it was just easier that way but even then, there were certain difficulties with it. an awkward chuckle escaped her, one that was meant to be a filler for the silence between them. putting her hand on his back, she started to lead him to the bar. “i’m thinking shots. i think you need it.” her reputation proceeded her and it surprised no one that celine has as much liqueur as she did. perhaps if she didn’t have a massive fortune from her career and the sudden influx of cash from her tour, things would have been different and she would have taken greater care of herself. she had had a tough run of it, being injured but she was managing it the best she could. however, she couldn’t help but feel aged and giving up was in sight. with celine zellmann, it was either everything or nothing. “you need to loosen up. we’re all friends, well, definitely acquaintances.” why people would attend when they couldn’t stand her, she wouldn’t understand; it was possible to donate online...
Sierra felt that she would end up rolling her eyes so hard that they would fall out of her head. “Voicing feelings that could have been brought up immediately but you left, then turning things on me to make me look like some childhood book villain” she scoffed “I’m tired of the world trying to to chew me up, I don’t need it from so-called friends” she said simply. “I know I’m right here” she added quickly, the more narcissistic side of her being unable to agree otherwise, she almost couldn’t help it anymore, her therapist had insisted it had developed over the years of trauma and feeling lost in an industry she hadn’t been ready for. “You are, you just choose to ignore it like the rest of us. Again, with the sob story, do you see me dragging my daughters into things?” she huffed, at this point just being a moody child since it was her go to when she couldn’t process her more complicated emotions, the discomfort showed in her face and body language from it.
“you know i find it difficult to say no to people.” it didn’t feel like this was a conversation she could win and it hurt that the other was trying to make this into something it wasn’t. celine had apologised yet sierra insisted on insulting her...in her own house. if this weren’t for charity, she’d be out faster than she would be able to argue with her about it. “don’t use that tone with me. i stood by you but as soon as i feel differently and something, that was the end of it.” everything she could say wasn’t going to betaken seriously by the other and celine didn’t know what to do or how to make it better. this was a woman who she had supported, through thick and thin; the only problem was that she was not reciprocating it. “stop it. right now. you’re so much better than this, you can be so much better than this but you need to stop shitting on me at any given opportunity. i have apologised for how i handled it but i will not let you make me feel guilty for actually acknowledging my feelings. it’s not a sob story. my actions from my birthday party affected tabitha negatively and i’m not going to let that happen again. she’s ten, sierra. have some compassion for that little girl, she looked up to you.”
“And yet you do, you play your victim card well. It’s almost as sociopathic as I can be, you’re so set in your mind that you don’t even see it. It explains why I had the red head in my face, Leonie had obviously been spun a story” she scoffed. “You’re met with this because you’re incorrect and I’m right” she said as if it were common knowledge, an eyebrow flicking when the other actually apologized. “You are, you just try to ignore that you are…Everyone is a type. Naivety doesn’t suit you, so I’d knock it off.”
sierra had been through a lot, that was why she had been so patient with her for so long but it had gotten to the point where she wasn’t able to take it anymore. despite that, celine still missed her and wanted to make this right, she just didn’t know how. “i didn’t spin a story. if a story means voicing my own feelings, so be it.” she wasn’t able to fight the tears. sierra struck out hard when she was hurt and the woman wasn’t used to being on the receiving end of it. “you can’t be right all of the time... we both messed up.” she cared for her, a lot, and that wasn’t going to go away but it seemed being honest with her about everything had cost her any type of relationship with her. “i’m not sociopathic, sierra. i’ve been working on myself...for tabitha.”
THESE HOLLYWOOD FUNDRAISERS always reminded colby he was not one of them. he had humble beginnings and he’d probably never live up to the wealth that filled the mansion he was in. his sharp black suit couldn’t compare to the designer names and the priceless diamonds walking in , but he actually didn’t mind. he didn’t mind being by the door with his supervisor mumbling directions into his earpiece , yelling at the new guys and creating overall chaos in his ear. this was the life , truly. he stood along the wall , eyes scanning the crowds. he was here to protect one person , but he didn’t mind keeping an eye out anyway. letting his guard down was the one thing he wasn’t allowed to do. “ nothing to see here , bud, ” he nodded to a passerby who’s eyes were glued to his face. “ move along. ” he shook his head as the guest walked away with their champagne sloshing. “ celebrities, ” he mumbled.
despite the popstar trying to convince herself to limit her drink intake, she already carried her third glass in her hand. all proceeds from the bar was going to go to charity so that was a great excuse on her end. celine was one to quickly get carried away in these social settings; she had the money to do so and she had been judged enough times to know better. she was an ageing star, she knew that but people seemed to like her and she still had supporting fans. her main concern was the lack of friends and supportive family around her. how many people at this party had she spoken to more than once? how many knew what she was actually like and actually liked her? numbers dwindled on that front. everyone wanted to be liked and celine was no exception to that rule. hanging around the perimeter, the woman sighed and rested her back against the wall and took another drink. she could tell that the young male was mumbling but she couldn’t work out what he was saying. “are you spotting trouble?” the woman chuckled, it being confirmation that the booze was starting to get to her head. “very grateful for your services.”
“And what exactly is there to talk about here? You’ll find a way to twist what I say, or whatever action I do. Then you’ll run off to your little friends and play woe is me on a tiny violin” she said simply “You’re just that type” she said with venom “I see you for what you are.” she shook her head slowly, speaking in that low of a tone she may as well have been spitting flames.
“i don’t twist anything, sierra.” no matter how many performances she did, celine wasn’t a confident woman and it lead to problems like this. she was trying to work through it but she was met with bitterness, bitterness that she would end up rolling over for. “and what’s that? i was a big supporter of you, for years and then when i finally try to stick up for myself, i’m met with this?” the petite woman looked to the ground. “i didn’t go about it in the right way, i went too far and i’m very sorry for that.” it was hard to believe that they had been rather close at a certain time the way sierra was shunning her in this moment. tears were welling but she wasn’t going to give the other the satisfaction of seeing her cry. “i’m not any type...”
The pro athlete found himself a tad uncomfortable at the fund raiser. He still wasn’t use to being invited to these things. You’d think from looking at him he would be use to being the popular guy but actually in high school he wasn’t actually it wasn’t until college that he broke out of his shell. But, even then this wasn’t different league all together. This was an event with everyone from A listers to even people who just worked with them. Even though Jace found himself not completely comfortable he plastered on a smile and played the role he needed too. The man had showed up with his best friend, Talia, but now he found himself scanning the room alone trying to see if he knew anyone else. “Hey,”He finally said to the nearest person to him trying to make some kind of conversation to distract himself. “Find anything your gonna bid on?”
it seemed that an event was never complete without a drink in celine’s hand. however, she had vowed to herself that she was going to behave herself, especially for the fact that her daughter and the other children were in the same building. ever since the last time that she had got absolutely wasted at one of her parties, the woman knew that something needed to change. her tour had done well, she had managed to complete it and everything felt like it had settled down; all that was left was for her to sort out her issues with her ex husband and things wouldn’t be able to get much better. “well...” celine smiled towards the athlete. “i do have my eyes on a few pieces of jewellery that were kindly donated but we’ll see.” tucking loose hair behind her ear, the woman chuckled before taking another drink. “so, what happens to be your poison of the evening? may i get you a drink?”
“And so is everyone else, so go ahead and make a scene, I dare you” The woman said lowly, glaring at her with icy sapphire eyes, keeping her expression unreadable yet her tone suggested she of course wasn’t happy “I came here for the charity, not for you. So I can happily be cordial elsewhere on the other side of the room drinking champagne on your tab” she said simply.
“i’m not here to make a scene...” an apology would have been on the table if sierra weren’t being so defensive, perhaps even on the attack. this conversation felt like it was going to be harder than she potentially thought. “my tab? all bar proceeds are going to charity so be my guest.” celine couldn’t understand why the woman would come here and not even hear her out. they had both been in the wrong but that didn’t make it feel anymore real. “can’t we just talk about this like adults?”
@celinehq liked for a starter!
“And what makes you think that I have anything to say to you?” The woman wondered as she took a glass of champagne from a waiter in passing, the woman turning to go and make her way through the crowd “I am fairly sure our last conversation was something to end any need to ever socialize again?” she wondered, her tone one that could cut. “I’m here for the soiree, not to hear you try and niggle at me for my supposed wrong-doings..”
it had always been complicated with the two of them but celine was willing to be cordial with sierra, especially at an event like this. she had tried to voice her opinions on the subject but knew damn well that she had pushed too hard and things ended up blowing in her face. the petite brunette felt herself tense up at the use of supposed but she wasn’t hear to cause a scene. “you’re in my home, sierra...” celine wasn’t usually confrontational but she had been the last time they spoke. she had issues, they both did but needed to acknowledge it. that was why she had to be very careful in this setting and had to make sure that she didn’t make herself ill like the last time. “i’m not going to do that. i’m just here to be cordial. we can both do that.”
‘ DO YOU EVER JUST … think about how lil wayne is five foot five ? he should be called VERY lil wayne … that’s got a nice ring to it . and , AND , big sean is only five foot eight . shouldn’t he be called AVERAGE sean ? he’s not big at all . their names are so misleading , i mean , what’s next ? 2 chainz only has one chain ? ‘
celine couldn’t help but chuckle at the young woman’s observation. “it’s never actually crossed my mind but it’s certainly a brilliant observation. i’m rather petite so i guess i would male big sean look taller? can’t say i’ve ever really spoken to him.” she shook her head. “you have a point though; it’s false advertising. guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the next one is, or maybe we should be brainstorming right now...although, do you always think about how most of the real housewives are actually divorced?”
talia strolled in her sundress and birkenstocks, perusing the many stalls stocked with fresh fruits, vegetables and other market wares. whenever she came to california, she always made a point to enjoy the weather and visit the organic markets to enjoy the produce. “i’m glad i’m not the only one who decided to take advantage of the sunshine today, “ the blonde noted with a smile, as she examined an apple – i don’t see how anyone could be inside right now.”
“it is beautiful but i left my sunglasses at home, like a dumbass, so i resort to squinting my eyes and looking miserable.” celine wasn’t the most organised of people, everyone who knew her was aware of that. she wasn’t the most put together either but after her last birthday party when footage of her acting inappropriately with another was leaked on the internet, she knew that she had to do better; she had her daughter to think about. “the weather is glorious though, i will never forget about that one. you know you’ve made it when you have sprinklers for the green land around your home.” the woman did take her situation for granted sometimes. no, celine wasn’t an entitled ageing popstar but she could be a diva if she was presented with something that she disagreed with.
“ i don’t know about you, but i sure do get tired of answering the same questions over and over again in interviews. likes yes, this is my natural hair color, no i wasn’t aware that picture was taken, and my relationship status still remains none of your business. ”
celine couldn’t help but chuckle at the young woman’s words. she did understand it; being asked the same question every time was frustrating, it was just that people thought that they were going to get a different answer every time. in her opinion, it was almost like they were badgering them and it would have been easier to reply with something different to get them talking rather than to tell the truth. “unfortunately, every interviewer thinks that they can get more out of you, even if it isn’t that deep. it’s tough, though. i would have preferred to go through my divorce without the constant questions and attention.”

this intro is more about her personally than her professional achievements; this will come later !!
born to german migrant parents, they always taught her to work hard for what she wanted. they were proud of her but always put a lot of pressure on her when she was at school; they wanted their daughter to succeed in academics and while she proved to be intelligent, she was always more drawn to arts.
she was an artist. loved to paint, sing and dance. her mother did enrol her into ballet but it was always too restrictive to her. she’d always be getting into trouble for adding her own spin or improvising in some way and that didn’t make her mother impressed that they were throwing away their money on her to disobey the teacher and her wishes to do well at it.
while she attended private school growing up, celine absolutely hated it. although she kept her head down, there was always someone picking up on what she was doing; she learned to ignore them. despite her insecure nature in adulthood, she was extremely confident in her younger years. sadly, people took this away from her as she started to be more open about writing her own songs and doing her own choreography. she tried to collaborate with friends at one point but her vision was too great and she needed control of all of it. thankfully, she has improved on letting people take the wheel and has had some very successful collabs with people.
as her parents were all about academics, they pushed her to get into julliard only for her to get in and quit when she was nineteen, in her first year. it all seemed a bit pointless to them and they were incredibly disappointed in her. with no secured job, she ended up working as a barmaid and singing in some dive bars before she was discovered at the age of twenty.
celine was young, maybe not younger than most but not old enough to know what she really wanted. although she was a person of great vision, she did let herself be controlled by her management. the young woman was sick of scraping by and needed some financial comfort; the only way that could happen was for her to make it big. it was all or nothing with her.
she was always worried about disappointing her parents and all those around her and that’s exactly what she felt like she did.
as if it were overnight, she had her big first hit at the age of twenty three and everything seemed to rush off from there. she brought out multiple albums and the tours shortly followed. celine was always so dedicated to them. whether the event was big or small, she’d put her everything into it. unfortunately, there were always people to give negative comments and even write her off altogether and she took all of this very personally and always has.
however, the bigger she got, the harder it got for her to cope with her fame. she was lead astray, she knew that and tried to resist but the party scene seemed to suck out her soul and she ended up doing some questionable things. it wasn’t that she was necessarily addicted to it but the people she was spending time with were toxic. celine’s insecurities heightened and all she wanted was to me loved and appreciated by other’s in the industry.
she’s a gay icon, i called it. she’s been openly bisexual but did receive a lot of backlash for it as people believed she was just out for attention, like her behaviour indicated. the tabloids would never leave her alone and her team just seemed to throw her to the wolves.
she was severely damaging herself for a while with this behaviour and it wasn’t until a stranger in a club took her to one side and was honest with her; she needed help to solve her issues instead of trying to ignore them. that person would be her ex husband. he had been honest with her fro day one and had tried to help her out of a place of concern, not because he wanted anything from her.
they were married and their daughter, tabitha, was born in 2009.
the two of them were happy for a while. celine was in therapy, she had taken a hiatus to explore the world of jazz after her daughter was born and she had a supportive husband. yes, she did mess up some days and go on the wrong path but he was patient with her and trusted that she would always find her way back home to him and tabs.
however, in 2011 she was involved in a car accident. a drunk driver was speeding, going out of control on turns and smashed into the car she was in. it look her a long time to get back on her feet. the woman hated that she couldn’t do things alone for the first year; her dignity was lost and she couldn’t really control anything. all she could think about was how this was the end of her career.
after the accident as she recovered, her relationship did deteriorate with her husband. she was bitter, depressed and there was only so much he could take from her. her pain never seemed to subside and it was tough on him. she did understand when the divorce came around and it was all under wraps until her manager leaked it to the press.
her comeback was in the year of 2013 but it was clear the accident had taken a toll on her both physically and mentally. she was able to get to a better physical health but she lacked the mentality behind it all. people around her continued to push her, even her new team and it just made her pain worse.
celine was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2015 a
she is back but feels like she’s too old for a comeback. she’s just come off her tour (managed to get to the end of it) but her body is failing her and she sees all of these up and coming stars that just remind her that if she’s not considered one of the greats by now (which she is with gaga’s vc let’s not lie to ourselves) then she’ll just be forgotten about. she has earned a lot of money but it’s not everything. she constantly fights with her ex about the well-being of their daughter and he has a few things to say about her public behaviour; he does care about her, he just doesn’t know how to put that into words anymore. he has moved on and is remarried but that doesn’t stop him caring about her family.
her daughter tabitha absolutely loves her. she’s sad that she doesn’t get to see her as much as she likes as celine’s constantly throwing herself into her work but the girl thinks the absolute world of her. don’t get me wrong, tabitha is a savage nine year old and she does lecture her mom on a few things but deep down, she’s using up her humor to cover up the worry she has for the woman. she can tell when her mother’s either having a bad day, in pain or both and she doesn’t like it at all.
celine is frequently featured on tabitha’s youtube channel, mostly centred around her mother and annoying her to death !! it’s funny but savage; she gets away with it because she’s cute. tabs is very honest and that’s honestly great for her mother, she helps to keep her grounded. despite her reluctance, she has started taking tabitha to red carpet events because the little girl is so interested in it. she wants to become a comedian and the president so needs to get all the exposure she can get.
say something bad about tabitha to celine’s face and that’s it, you’re done.
as her pain worsens, she’s being dramatic and thinking of quitting the industry completely. she’s such a creative person and a talented piano player/songwriter, she should look over all her options but she is so quick to become defeatist.
the media just makes everything worse as she’s getting really sick of the drama it causes. she’s reaching fifty and she knows that her levels of insecurity aren’t normal.
all in all, celine has a heart of gold but does have her issues. she is one of the greats, even if people don’t necessarily like her and she has dabbled in a lot of musical genres over the years. please come and plot with me !!
