JD had just finished up going on a run with Titan for the last hour or so, which lead to more walking or standing than he'd like because Titan was still getting used to all the smells near Gracie's place. Not that they'd be here much longer now that they were in the process of getting a place together, and there were some serious options that their realtor had showed them the last couple of weeks. For now though, he was more than content to call Gracie's place home until they were able to officially buy their own. "We're back," he called out to his girlfriend, letting the dog off the leash to go get water and JD followed to get a bottle for himself. "Listening to your album twice is the perfect amount of a workout," he told Gracie with a grin when he walked in the room to find her, "I'd give you a kiss and tell you how proud of you I am again, but I'm all sweaty so I'll save it for after I shower." @graciemadigcn

It wasn't anything she expected for herself this year. She knew with the album, and an upcoming tour, the idea of doing about anything else never crossed her mind. However, when the idea was proposed to her by JD, something clicked. It was as if she couldn't say no, like finding a place to call home with him was exactly where she needed to be. She laughed at the imagery of his dog paying his dues, her arms secure around him before allowing him to excitedly scoot on over to get to business. "I like the way you think," Gracie secured it with a nod, eyes peering at the screen at the local listings. "And maybe a nice patio where like.... we can get a porch swing," she mused out loud, turning to pick up his reaction. "I know, it's a grandma vibe, but kinda soft and poetic, right? Imagine the songs I could write on it. It could be a hit maker."

JD pulled her onto his lap while he was searching through different zillow listings, trying to go through the filters to set it to stuff that they would need or want. "It's not grandma vibe at all, kinda reminds me of home. All the nice houses where I grew up in Texas always had a porch swing," he mused with a grin, "Besides, even if I hated the idea, it's what my girl wants so we're gonna make it happen. Even if we gotta install it after we buy a place." Even with the filters put into it, there were so many listings that it was kind of overwhelming and there was so much he didn't know to look for. "What if we make a favorites list of houses we like, and then we get in touch with a realtor tomorrow since they know what they're doing way better than my ass does," he laughed, looking at her from the side, "Unless you're a real estate expert and have been hiding it from me all this time." @graciemadigcn
