I was trying to find sample images of the XT-1 previously with some of the XF/XC lenses attached to it out of curiosity.

Needless to say, my search often turned up nothing other than the few 'popular' lenses. So I decided to make some images, showing how the various XF/XC lenses look on the XT-1.

Hope this helps the aesthetically-inclined photographers out there, who are keen on purchasing a Fujifilm system, because sometimes, how it looks, matters too.

will post up some samples of the XT-1 with the VG-XT1 shortly.

Fujifilm VG-XT1 battery grip for the XT-1

some quick notes on the VG-XT1 since I didn't see much information on other sites:

it's a lot lighter than it looks, doesn't add much weight to your XT-1

it only takes ONE more NP-W126 battery to supplement the ONE you already have in the XT-1 which means you will only have TWO batteries in total (camera + battery grip)

no noticeable lag in the grip's response in AF, the electronics are pretty sound (and they better, since this grip costs quite a penny)

AE-L, AF-L, Shutter release button and 2 jog dials are provided with the grip. also, a Focus Assist Button as well

featuring: the Fujifilm Share SP-1

lazy to whip out the mirrorless to take a couple of simple comparison shots, so i just used the xperia and did a quick collage for anyone who's interested in how it looks.

quick facts:

1) it uses instax mini (which is available everywhere)

2) it uses 2x CR2 batteries (which may be tricky to obtain)

3) sharpness is on par with the older pivi (which is marginally disappointing)

4) connectivity is only via wifi (it has an SSID, and password is configurable via an app on Android/Apple smartphones)

6) app allows you to, take a pic and print with your smart phone, choose a pic from facebook/instagram to print, reprint pictures you have printed before (gallery of past printed pics), change wifi password setting of the printer

that's about it! go get one :D

took a cycle along lorong halus, all the way to punggol water way, through the punggol eco-town PCN. very scenic with much photography to be had. sad that most of what we saw, was man-made structures and 'nature'.
