Do you?
Yin-Yang
Knock nine times... Well, that wasn't the weirdest thing he had to do to get somebody's attention and it was worth looking like a fool if he could get some clarification. And, he figured, he may as well do it whilst there was nobody around to watch. So he lifted his hand and knocked, waiting patiently for a response.
The door appeared and from the other side Adam opened it and welcomed the guest “Hello there, pleased to meet you. Please have a seat” He gestured over at the guest chair by the desk. He then ambled over to the waiting area
"Can I get you anything? Coffee, tea? We have swiss rolls as well if you’re feeling peckish"
"MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE" echoed Naharel
The Marquis gave a nod and lifted to cup to his lips to take a sip. He hadn’t had a proper cup of tea since the week before when his housemate had broken the teapot, “Well, with a name like that, I doubted that he could be a lesser demon.” Shax lowered the cup and, with a glance down, tried his best to think of the best answer to the question. It wasn’t really a common problem but he did need help on the subject. With a sigh of resignation, the demon glanced over at Adam.
"A while ago, I had a bit of a problem with disassociative identity disorder - a split personality. However, that was solved and I was without it for a period of time, until one of those grey-faces cast one of their spells and, now, it is back but not up here," He gestured to his head, "But has a physical body, similar enough to my own and goes by a different name. We are almost completely different aside from in appearance."
Shax shook his head, “I have looked in numerous books and researched as much as I can but I cannot seem to find anything that can solve my problem… See, since he was once a part of myself, does he still hold the same title and is he still, technically, me or is he considered a separate entity in the eyes of the law?”
Adam tapped his chin thoughtfully "Well, I imagine not. Magically he would have a different true name Im sure, especially if he's radically so different in personality. Since your title and domain are of supernatural origin that should protect you."
"THOUGH THERE ARE WAYS AROUND IT, HE COULD IN THEORY BEGIN TO ASSOCIATE PEOPLES THOUGHTS WITH HIM AND YOUR DOMAINS IF HE DOES THAT HE COULD MAGICALLY INHERIT THEM OF HIS OWN VOLITION"
Adam opened a drawer and pulled out a paper and began doodling on it "Thats the trouble with magic, names, thoughts, domains, everything is within the scope of the imagination and everything is fluid. The best we can do is set counter measures, so why dont you confide us your worst fears and we'll see about keeping them from occuring"
Illis stepped into the office, looking around. He was looking for representation and heard good things about these two. Namely that they may not be...well, "normal." He needed someone who would understand his unique circumstances. ((sorry! Very belated starter))
Adam was walking down the stairs toothbrush in his mouth when he heard the bell ring and lazily looked over “Oh” he said, toothbrush obscuring it a tad. He then ran back upstairs
"EXCUSE HIM, LATE START TODAY, ONE OF THOSE DAYS IF YOU UNDERSTAND"
Adam came back down, hair out of sorts but otherwise in impeccable condition “Please come in, can I interest you in coffee or tea?”
"Well Mr Illis, we’re happy to help in anyway we can"
"ANYWAY, WE’RE QUITE FLEXIBLE"
"Except crime of course"
"THAT WOULD BE BAD"
"Most dreadful"
"WOULD NEVER THINK OF IT"
Adam smiled “Why dont you give me more details? This sounds exactly up our office’s alley and we would love to help a client”
Illis’ eyes widened because he had not expected Adam’s partner to be listening. Instinctively he began to look for the speaker around the office. “Oh, well, you see…I have this rival. He stole my weapons a few months ago. I’ve yet to get them back from him. Last time I argued with him I had a tape recorder on me and I told him to give the weapons back. And he said ‘I stole them fair and square.’ I was hoping if I could work off of that, him admitting he stole them on tape, I could…well, you know, sue him to get them back. Since catching him and taking them back has been failing.”
Adam strummed his fingers along the desk "Oh yeah, thats more than possible. That recording is definitely permissible evidence, the only trouble at that point would be presenting him in court and convincing a jury"
"WHICH IF HES THE SORT OF PERSON TO ADMIT THINGS LIKE THAT WELL, IM SURE WE CAN RILE HIM UP IN FRONT OF OTHERS"
Adam pulled out his chair and stood up "The only question is where do you plan on trying this, not the mundane courts surely?"
The Energy Ball!
The energy(referred commonly as Chi, Qi, and even Ki) ball is a technique of focusing your energy between your hands. This can be very handy in helping you meditate, put up spiritual barriers(which can protect you from harmful energies/entities), ground yourself, and gain more control over your energy.
This is a technique that is hundreds, maybe even thousands of years old. And it has been used to teach people mental and spiritual discipline, how to focus on one task at a time, and to control their energy as well as emotions(including stress relief).
Using this technique is simple. And now I’m going to teach you how I learned it.
When standing or sitting, close your eyes, and do the standard 5-5-5 breathing technique(in through the nose for a count of 5, hold for a count of 5, out through the mouth for a count of 5).
Lift your hands up and cup them(similar to above GIF, but with fingers spread), keeping your hands relaxed/loose with palms facing each other. Your elbows should be bent at a right angle, and your hands should be apart(width of your body, to start).
Relax and slowly bring your hands closer and closer to each other. (Try not to let your fingertips touch.
You should start to feel a slight tingling sensation in your fingertips/palms. This sensation will grow the closer they get.
When the fingertips of each hand have about an inch apart, try to imagine a ball in that space between your palms. As you do this, also imagine that you are pushing energy out of your hands into this ball(feeding it if you will).
As you continue this exercise and get better at it, try changing the shape or color of the ball, and feeding emotions or ideas into it. You can even assign a basic element to it, in your mind.
NOTE: Techniques like this one require a lot of focus. Your mind should not wander too much when you attempt this. So try to keep distracting stimuli away from your person. Also, it may take several attempts to get it right. Do not get discouraged if it does. That is normal. One abnormality that may come from this exercise, however, would be if you feel pain whenever you attempt this. If such a thing occurs, stop immediately. It is an indicator that one or more of your Chakras may be turned off/dampened.

Adam swung his leg over the desk and moved to the other side before grabbing his seat. He settled in the chair and with a neutral sort of expression tapped the desk “Oh can’t complain, just one of the days you can’t quite wake up for. But enough about me, how are you and how can we help you Mr-?” He extended his hand as he grasped for an identity.
"Oh, it’s Illis. I’m well enough. Busy as ever, I’m afraid. I was looking for representation. You see, I have this person who…Well, he just won’t give me back my things. And it’s complicated due to what he is.”
"Well Mr Illis, we're happy to help in anyway we can"
"ANYWAY, WE'RE QUITE FLEXIBLE"

Illis smirked, not in a judgmental air but akin to playfulness. He could see the man was just starting his day and was relieved to talk to someone who did not impose the way most lawyers did.
"Oh, tea would be nice, thank you," he replied. "How are you doing today? I had heard good things about this place."
And by “good” he meant “interesting.” That alone had piqued his curiosity.

Shax graciously accepted the tea and leaned back in the chair, just warming up his hands for a moment since it would be too hot to drink, “Thank you. It is a pleasure to meet you too, Adam, Naharel.” The demon tapped his nail against the cup and took a moment to glance around, having a proper look at the office. It was definitely more impressive than his own.
"Oh, just call me Shax. The only beings that tend to use my title or add a ‘sir’ to my name are lesser demons. I, myself, am a Marquis. I am not sure if you know of it, but I am also the forty-fourth spirit of the Ars Goetia.” He explained, then flashed a smile in Adam’s direction, just watching for a reaction.
"I, myself, and quite interested in law but there is one thing that I just cannot find any material on, so I think I need a bit of help. It is not really a common topic…"
Adam folded his hands "Then Shax it is, and thank you for not including Naharel in the list of Lesser demons, he's touchy about that sort of thing" there was a low growling from the speaker as Adam looked back towards his guest "Any friend of Solomon's is of course welcome here, so its a pleasure to have your business" Adam opened his drawer and pulled out his pen and began to twirl it in his hand
He was trying to be relaxed, poised. Demons are a group you dont show awe or weakness to, Kingsley had told him that much. Shax was a big deal, but Adam wasnt going to reveal how much he felt it
The speakers piped up "SO WHAT IS IT YOU NEED HELP WITH?"
Adam gestured to the books behind him "Our records are quite extensive, hopefully we can help"
