After the shootout they arrested Kanako and diagnosed her with the condition of multiple personality disorder. There are three personalities: Shunsuke, Shouko, and Kanako. Kanako, the main personality, cannot communicate with the other two or nor does she has any of the memories the other two contain. She is unaware of what the others have been doing.
