Concerned.

So relating to the post Mark made today. I feel like maybe- MAYBE the douchiness he was talking about might have stemmed from grief. Now I can’t say for sure, obviously. We don’t know the full story.

But what has me worried, is I’m concerned Mark might be dealing with depression and just hiding it with this kinda douchey aura- you know, the showing off muscles, vanity kinda thing.

Now I can just be lookin into things too much, but @markiplier I’m rekindling this concern. I just want to let you know, there is concern for your mental health. Again, could be looking into too much.

But I really fucking hope you are okay. This feeling I am getting is not good. This deep fucking worry. I am concerned. And it seems my prior concern about losing you to the fame was kinda correct, relating to the Matt and Ryan situation.

Just, if anything is going on, please don’t hide it. <3333 we love you, dude.

This is legit exactly what I was thinking. As much as Mark likes to pretend he's fine and all cool and perfectly fine, I feel like every time the camera is turned off he gets more serious and distant. Like, whenever he doesn't see a camera and is caught off guard he's always frowning staring into space or piddling around on his phone. Not really joking and interacting with his friends. I might be over reacting as well but I feel like Mark might not be as fine as we think he is.

#ColorsForDaniel

It’s taken me a while to consider whether or not to bring this back. If you’ve read a post I made around August 12th, from September 16-24, we will be holding events to remember and celebrate Daniel Kyre, who passed away around that time last year.

This was a specific event that I really wanted to bring back, as it was a simple, yet effective way to remember Daniel, as well as support suicide prevention. After some thinking, I decided that we should bring this back.

With all of that said, this is #ColorsForDaniel!

Created by @markiplieressentials, the #ColorsForDaniel event was where people wore specified colors for five days in a row, sharing their selfies in the colors. Whether it was clothing, makeup, bracelets, etc., a lot of people participated and showed their support. Even those who couldn’t participate due to spirit weeks and whatnot, still showed their support for others who did.

Thus, starting on Monday, September 19th, and ending Friday, September 23rd, we will be bringing back this event, and doing it once again in honor of Daniel Kyre of Cyndago, and for suicide prevention. As I said, it’s a simple concept, yet such an effective way to show our care for Daniel’s friends and family, as well as those who struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts.

These are the colors for that week:

Monday, September 19th - Black (mourning)

Also falling on the tragic day where Daniel had been taken off life support and the devastating announcement was made, we will be wearing any form of black.

Tuesday, September 20th - Yellow/Blue (rememberance)

These were the two primary colors in Cyndago’s logo. Whether you want to do one or the other, or both, it’s up to you.

Wednesday, Septembr 21st - Purple (suicide prevention)

Thursday, September 22nd - Turquoise (suicide prevention)

Friday, September 23rd - Red (love)

To wrap up #ColorsForDaniel, red will be our way of saying to Daniel, those who are struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts, as well as those who have already passed in committing suicide, that we will forever love them, and continue on in their name. This will be followed by the 24th, which is our closing day for the event.

He Could've Been An Engineer

I figured out why Mark keeps his taco trophy and diamond play button in his bathroom. It's so when he takes a shower and starts reconsidering his life he just looks at his accomplishments and goes, "I could've been an engineer, but I'm a YouTuber. This why."
