Maybe Jean and Marco had been crushing on each other for years during high school, but only went on one date during junior/senior year and it went so terribly they avoided each other for the rest of school. Then when they’re mid20s-mid30s, they’re set up on a blind date by their friends and it’s the first time they’ve seen each other since graduation.

When I first joined the Jeanmarco Gift Exchange in 2015, I was Maxiell’s Secret Santa but I felt like my artwork back then didn’t do justice to her prompt, so here’s a much better revised version  :-)
