This is my sideblog to rant about my Star Wars Jedi OC, Aria. The last one was my secondary blog and Iād like to interact with you all using a primary one instead.Ā If youāve found your way here I hope youāll stick around and learn more about her! :)Ā

The occupation soldiers whipped Dr. Hossam Abu Safia with street electrical wiring (worse than a whip).
The soldiers forced Dr. Abu Safia and others from the staff of Kamal Adwan Hospital to strip off their clothes at the field interrogation center in the Al-Fakhoura area, north of the Gaza Strip. They then detained Dr. Abu Safia along with a large number of hospital staff and Palestinians.
Actually, I'll be the Bitter Black Betty and say it out loud: this isn't just Israel's cruelty. There were still people with an enslaved Black woman that saw her life as worth so little that when it came down to it, they were willing to take an active role in her death- not just passively abandoning her to the bombs, but locking her in the house. Hawa's death is not on the Zionist entity alone. Antiblackness in the midst of something so horrible should let you know just how bad it gets.
Oh, so many. Its almost funny because well... she super careless (like me). I cut my hands once or twice a day with a knife when i cook and its just something i ignore now. So, yes, Aria has on multiple occasions hurt herself... with her own lightsaber. But not when she's fighting someone... just super randomly. A slight nick every other day. But yeah, she does have one scar that lightened over time... when she fought ventress. like her attempt on wolffe, she just slashed a jagged edge of a sharp spear like object, across her face, but Aria was able to back away, just not completely, otherwise she'd probably be missing an eye too. The slash moved diagonally across so now she has a trail of small scars starting with a small gap in her brow, then a small indentation on the bridge of her nose, and finally ending with an indentation on the apple of her cheek. idk if this makes sense... and i cant draw, otherwise i may have been able to explain this better. :p
Do they have any regrets?
Not before the war she didnt. Before that she was sure there was no point in regretting what had passed. But after the war begins it wasn't easy to look at her mistakes in the same way, even small errors stand out. The lives of so many beings were on the line, every day, that were constantly being impacted by every decision she and the Jedis made so yeah... her list of regrets increased exponentially.
What do they fear the most?
Anything bad happening to Kiera. Like... she took her on because she thought she would be able to keep her safe. But that turned out to be impossible. Even when she left Kiera behind somewhere safe, it wouldn't work out and so whenever Kiera isn't on Coruscant, in her quarters, Aria is trying to ignore the anxiety building inside her.
Are they a good liar?
Oh yeah. Depends on how critical the situation is. Let's say Kiera asked Aria if she had feelings for Rex, Aria may give herself away almost immediately because she knows revealing the information wouldn't be much of a concern. Her padawan knows Aria isnt too sensible and a crush would be dealt with in similarly, so Aria wouldn't try as hard because she knows its okay if she finds out. But consider if Rex ever asked (and i know he wouldnt but for the sake of this scenario, lets assume he does) there's no way Aria would give it away. The lie would be confident and serious and just to the point. No embellishments or stutters. She would look him in the eye and lie.
Do they know that they are loved?
Oh yeah. She knows Mace, Ayla and Kiera all do. Its why she hates that she keeps thinking about her parents. Whenever she interacts with any of them, she knows they like her around them. Its what keeps her normal. She sees them as family and knows she can count on them if necessary.
Whatās something that will always make them smile?
She's a chill person most of the time and being around people she'll always have a small smile on her face. like a constant tug on the right side and if you give her chocolate. I know most people would smile but its the easiest way. But then it isnt a smile it becomes something so much more brighter because she cant believe someone is offering her chocolate out of nowhere. its not the chocolate... but the gesture that kills.
Whatās their favourite food or drink?
Chips. Snacks. Chocolates. Candy. Her tastes are similar to a 5 year old unfortunately.
Do they have a comfort item?
Yes. Her XL sized Jedi robe. Just put the hood on and wrap that huge piece of fabric around you and voila... you're protected from external factors and even to some degree... from your internal issues as well.
I was just thinking about Aria and wondering - how does she process grief? Does she learn of Mace's death, or is she under the impression he died during O66? And while I know Aria survives O66, does her padawan survive too?
have a wonderful day/evening! (also in the future do you want me to send asks on this blog or your sideblog?) İyi geceler my friend
oh my god youre so cute for asking. and im not even updating anything about Aria because i am legit unable to find the time (or the motivation) but THANK YOU again for asking. (Tesekurler :D )
She only begins to deal with intense grief once the war started because a lot of it was personal. Not like the grief she had experienced before, which was mostly as a spectator, when she went with Mace on missions to other parts of the galaxy. People she knew all her life were dying around her at an enormously quick pace and then the added responsibility of clones and their deaths was so hard to comprehend as well. So... its just a lot of silent moments for her. She cant talk because her minds incapable of dealing with anything except whatever emotion she is going through, whether its shock, sadness, depression or whatever else. She also sleeps a lot when she's sad. Its easy to pull herself away from her thoughts for a while but unfortunately they're just waiting for her when she's awake. and then... a while later when things have piled up, she has a massive breakdown. Also, she talks to like one or two people about how she feels so well... idk how healthy this sounds.
And well, she knows something is wrong with Mace and the moment, when palps kills him, plays out almost exactly the way Ahsoka's does (and almost exactly the same time that hers does too). And before she can learn more, she finds herself with the Empire. But she learns about what happened to Mace though. Through the Ninth Sister. Idk if you've read much about her, but she's in the Darth Vader comics and i loved her. she isnt weirdly and characteristically evil (I have no idea how shes portrayed in Jedi Fallen Order). So she answers Aria's questions whenever she's... conscious. She tells her how Mace died. She also tells her that Rex and Ayla are dead. And she tells her they dont have updates on Kiera. Who's alive btw. And who actually rescues Aria months later.
She learns stuff but she doesn't get to process any of the information properly until after her rescue. From there on she's basically just a shell of her original self because she's learnt about EVERYONE's death in a matter of minutes when she's reunited with her padawan because she did not trust the ninth sister (she was convincing herself everything she said was a lie) but yeah... its the same.
And you can send me asks anywhere man. The fact that you're sending them and still thinking about Aria is so super cute, im crying.
Another Aria, belonging to the brilliant @clone-bar-79s ! Sheās a fantastic character and aaaaaaaaaaaaa Iām so excited to see where her story goes!
So thanks to @clone-bar-79sĀ this summer I am finally fulfilling my promise to Jane Austen and reading Pride and Prejudice, and in celebration Iāve tried to paint Aria as Lizzie Bennett!
Tag game! Share five random facts about your ocs that you havenāt shared yet!!!
Heyyyyyyyyyyy!
Aria stops functioning in flowy dresses. You know that scene from Tangled, the one where Rapunzel dances holding her dress in one hand and skipping and twirling and dancing to that insanely addictive tune. She's no different than that if she's wearing a flowy dress. Like its a giddy feeling and my girl loves clothes and imagining herself right in that place. Or the scene from little women where Jo dances with Bhaer? Yup. Fast dances that you laugh throughout as strands of your hair fly about your face and your flowy dress twirls about you and its just the perfect feeling
Aria carries an orange dual-bladed lightsaber that splits into two (!!!). While canon doesn't really mention much about it, its commonly agreed that the color indicates that the user wont use it unless absolutely necessary which is Aria's take on violence in the first place. so it aligns well with her own principles as far as the war allows it .
She has had multiple crushes over her life. Its not something she indulges because she knows it distracts her horribly, but when she used to be on long missions that seemed to have no end, she'd let herself enjoy that fluttering feeling in her stomach, mainly because she knew that what she felt was a crush and not love and hence nothing to worry about. That is until she meets Rex. <3
There is only one person in the Senate she speaks to and that is Bail. She'd very very good friends with him and Breha, she considers him like a slightly older brother to vent to when she starts to feel un-jedi like thoughts. In fact, Bail knows exactly who Aria's parents are because not only do they hail from Alderaan, they're like one of the most wealthiest families on Coruscant and regularly attend galas and events. The family is also on very good terms with Bail and he's the only one in the Senate who is aware of this relation. And yes, the knowledge makes him feel guilty every time he speaks to Aria and is something he vents about to Breha in detail.
Aria is spending any time she can fins helping Bail come up with a motion that would free the clones from all duties once the war ended. There's no doubt Bail hates the role he played in the creation of the clone army and welcomes Aria's stubborn and insistent reminders that he has the power to bring about a change in the situation the moment the war comes to an end.
which oc dog ears pages? which oc thinks thatās an ABOMINATION?
Heheh. Idk how you will feel about this answer but Aria dog ears the pages. She thinks worn out books are a sign of love. It means someone loved something on that page that they decided to do something drastic and mark it. So the more worn out the book the more meaning it holds.
Kiera hates it though. She doesn't give her books to Aria and hides her versions from her because she knows if her Master found them and began reading them shed somehow find a pen to begin marking pages with.
I would say Aria. She doesn't know it nor believes that she's a good looking girl. Like most people she believes a little effort makes her passable but she is clueless to the fact that she's hot and catches people's eyes
which oc cried during the lion king and SWEARS they didnāt?
There is no movie that doesn't make Aria cry. She hates gore but if an actor is crying on scene there's a chance that Aria is too because seeing a person cry just gets her started.
29 from the prompt list. I wanna really see what you'll do with it :D
So I decided to interpret this as a conversation between Fives and Rex. The General mentioned is Aria, a brilliant oc belonging to @clone-bar-79s and with her own blog here! - @jediknightaria
79āsĀ
āIām telling you- Iām not-ā Hick. āIām not drunk!ā
Echo chuckled into his own drink and Rex could hardly blame him; Fives had said it with such sincerity, his eyes wide and endearing - but the blush in his cheeks, the slur in his voice, the hiccups and the fact he was clearly drunk from a mile off had given him away.Ā
"You're a really bad liar," Rex said, trying to keep a straight face. Fives pouted in response and neither he nor Echo could take it anymore; both burst out laughing, Echo snorting his Rhuvian Fizz out of his nose. That set Fives off then too, and before long the three of them were holding onto each other for support, barely able to breathe for laughing. Commander Wolffe gave them a dirty look from the bar but Rex couldnāt care less.
It wasnāt every day your brothers qualified as ARC troopers!
āOne last drink, then I expect both of you back in your bunks. Itāll be a busy day tomorrow.ā
āOnly if you join us!ā Fives begged, pulling Rex closer. Rex looked to Echo for help, but his other little brother had betrayed him, helping Fives trap him at the bar. He sighed dramatically.
āFine - but just one.ā
It was not just one. Far from it.
But Rex didnāt seem to mind.
No, memories like this he didnāt mind at all.
ā¦
Rex had been expecting some sort of call from Fox, but that didn't mean he had to like it. Despite Rex warning him that his battalion had just left hell and might be a little more rowdy than usual, the Commander had sounded as waspish and displeased as ever. It wasn't his fault - how could a brother with a cushy position like this ever understand something like Umbara - but it didn't make Fox's complaints of 'get your kriffing brothers in check before I have them arrested and held in detention' any less grating.
Approaching 79's, there was already a heightened tension around the bar, and nat-borns and brothers alike were steering clear. Inside wasn't much better; the same loud raucous music was playing as always, but no one was dancing. No one was doing anything except sitting in deathly silence, staring out at nothing or at the single patron sitting at the bar.
The bartender caught his eye with a panicked look; striding over, he very quickly worked out why. Fives was slumped over the bar, nursing a cup of strong Shesharilian Vodka and glaring murderously at the bottles ahead of him. The shattered transparisteel on the floor and the blood coating Fives' knuckles meant that Fox had been telling the truth and Rex had found his culprit.Ā
"Fives."
"Hey Rex," Fives mumbled into his drink. His voice slurred slightly at the end; Rex dreaded to think how much his vod had had to drink. Despite his intoxication, Fives was still on high alert, his body tense and itching for another fight.
"Come on, I think you've had enough to drink-" Rex said as diplomatically as he could, but Fives stubbornly stayed put.
"I'm not drunk," Fives argued, but his heart wasn't in it.
"Yes you are. Come on, let's get you-"Ā
He tried to put a hand on Fives' shoulder, but the other trooper flinched, shoving Rex back violently.
"Kriff off Rex!" Fives growled, his eyes glinting dangerously. Rex could feel the mood changing rapidly around them, and Fives was in a lot worse state than he'd thought - if he didn't get him out of there soon-
"Y'know, I've been thinking,ā Fives said conversationally, although there was a steely edge to it that made the hairs on Rexās neck stand on end. āI'm glad Echo's dead."
Rex froze.
He didn't just say that.
He wouldn't.
He didn't need to look around to know that everyone was staring at them. He didn't need to see their faces to know how horrified, how angry they were. You never wished a brother dead.Ā
Ever.
Reeling in his own feeling of disgust, he forced Fives to his feet.
"You don't know what you're saying, now move it trooper before-"
"No, I mean it! I'm glad he's dead! And Hevy and Cutup and Droidbait! I'm glad they never had to see that hell, glad they never had to die for something so- so useless!!!ā
The whole room had frozen. Barely a word had been spoken since theyād taken off from Umbara; most had simply wanted to forget, or pretend it never happened. The cruiser had been too empty, and those who remained werenāt the same. Rex had tried to brush it off as just another rough campaign, had been the professional his men had needed him to be. And it had almost helped - pretending was an incredible weapon in the battle with his nightmares. He could pretend Hardcase was still with them, that he hadnāt killed his own brothers, that he hadnāt obeyed the orders of a general who had used him to control his men, to send them to their deaths. No, pretending was the holding action he needed, the shelter from the storm in his mind.
But Fives had ripped it away like a bandage from a wound, and now he was bleeding, bleedingā¦
āHow long before weāre asked to do the same again? Walk into blasterfire for the sake of obedience? Serve masters we have no power to contradict? And for what? And for what?!!!ā
āFives-ā
āI know you think about it! Youāre not blind to what's happening! I saw it on Umbara, I see it when you look at her-ā
āDonāt.ā
āWhatās going to happen to us Rex? Will they just throw us at the guns until thereās none of us left?! Or throw us away when weāre no longer useful? We deserve better, we deserve to live!!! And you!!! Youāre so much more- that life with the General- Aria- after the war⦠why shouldnāt you have it?!ā
āFives stop it! Please!!!ā
That was a low blow and Fives knew it. The tears in Fivesā eyes did nothing to still the turmoil in Rexās heart because⦠he was right. As much as he tried to pretend otherwise, each night since theyād escaped Umbaraās atmosphere his thoughts had been assaulted with the same mutinous thoughts. Who were the Jedi to decide whether his brothers lived or died?! Sure, Krell had Fallen, but every other general had the same right to abuse that power. How many brothers had died before now to weak or apathetic leaders?! And what would happen after the war?!Ā
The worst part was that heād had this conversation before. The look on Ariaās face that night⦠theyād both said things that scared him even now, that made his heart race with fear and something he dare not name. But the way sheād described her hatred of the battlefield, her fear for her Padawan, her forbidden dream of a normal life⦠and heād understood. Heād wanted it too. And her fierceness, her passion- if sheād asked him to desert then-
But he hadnāt - heād been the Republicās loyal soldier - and heād marched his men to Umbara and to their deaths.
Fives was staring at him; intelligent eyes only fuelled by the inebriation. Heād long ago learned to never underestimate Fivesā ability to analyse the situation around him, but now it seemed his brother was looking through his skin, straight into his soul.
āI might be a bad liar, but at least Iām not lying to myself,ā Fives muttered darkly before pushing himself away from the bar, stalking past Rex and the other stunned patrons in the bar to disappear into the dark night outside.Ā
Fives had been right on Umbara - about Krell, about everything.
He hated that Fives was right here too.
Thank you if you gave this a read! For those interested, Fox had been dealing with his own problems prior to the 501st arrival and had every reason to be grumpy - both Fox and Rex deserve a real break and some therapy!
Aria's got things to deal with. Like the fact that the jedi have decided that each one of them is now a battle strategist. And so she copes. How, you ask? She's a part of fight club. Everyone who's in it knows just how weird it is, so the rules of fight club still apply. Its cathartic to shut yourself from the force and simply use your hands to land a few and regularly have your ass handed to you.
Aria took Ayla along once and after landing one punch was thrown off the mat and out of the ring. The resulting bruise was used as leverage for months.
I forgot to mention. Aria's short. So she fights like Catwoman. Quick jabs and hits. When someone grabs her though its over and that's when she finds herself on the ground
Continuing with my procrastination on here but I thought I'd let you in on my two lil fav OCs, Rick and Code. (Yes, they're plays on Rex and Cody, just let that go).
So, Code, the cutest lil clone you've ever seen is quiet and nerdy. And not nerdy because he remembers everything but more because he'd rather he just be left alone to read, which is why he is called a nerd at all. He wears black rimmed glasses that he's constantly repairing and he has needed it since he was young because his face was in a datapad since the moment he could read basic and he pushes them up every few seconds because they get lose every few days. Why do they get lose? Because he keeps pulling them off every time he needs to meet someone's eye. But yeah, my boy doesn't talk much, except to his superior and Aria. He's much younger and was assigned to Aria a full year after the war began.
Which brings us to Rick. Rick was a generation one clone commando that was injured on his first mission with Aria. She forced the Kaminoans and even got Shaak Ti involved to ensure that he was assigned to her once he got better. He did. And he works with her for as long as the war goes on. He's insanely protective of Code, Aria, and then Kiera too. Rick's hair have streaks of gray which helps him convey his authority and a stern expression that no one takes seriously. He's the fluffiest person you'll ever meet. You need to talk things out, he'd set aside everything and help you get through out it and check up on you. He's the mom and the dad of any group.
