Me exactly 1/2 of the time: She'll come when she's ready! The more time she spends in the womb the better. She's safe and she's well nourished. This is what's best for her. What difference does a couple weeks make, anyways?

Me exactly 1/2 of the time: I can't fucking do this for another 2 weeks. If I don't have her today I'm going to lose my mind. Was that a contraction? Maybe I should go for a walk, or bounce on a ball, or eat pineapple. Should I call L&D? I should call L&D.

Whenever I feel any type of pain

I start to think I’m in labor…

Except I’m not…

You’re not a bad mom for not being able to control when you go into labor, and you’re not a bad person for wanting the baby to just be out already. Pregnancy is hard, there’s no right way to feel, especially when you’re this far along.
