Not a fan of Godzilla special cards. The thing is, I don't mind promos like Grimlock and ponies - they aren't legal. I cannot stop people from playing Godzilla against me and making me feel this is not Magic anymore, this is something worse. I do not think "these cards are not for you" applies. Commander isn't for me, but since I don't need to play it I don't care if you make commander cards. What's next? A standard legal Drizzt Do'Urden? A standard legal Optimus Prime? Please no.

This raises a good question. How do all of you feel about a Godzilla card (and other creatures from the same IP which isn’t Magic) existing in black border?

I think alter-promos are wonderful. The best distribution for them is probably secret lairs though. But I’d rather have them than not.
