Patreon For a long time I have been exploring different avenues for funding the continued creation of my art. The life of a freelance artist is incredibly feast or famine, sometimes it seems like everything is going your way, and then there are the stretches where its a scramble to pay the bills. I’ve never been good at the hustle. Promoting myself as a commodity has never been my strong suit. I manage what little I make very well, but when it comes to asking for money it terrifies me. I’m not a great business person, but I feel like I am becoming a decent artist. I’d like to continue to focus on creating my work, so I’m coming to you. Right now I have what amounts to about 5 months worth of Tumblr posts queued up, but starting now I am going to be offering instant access to my work as I finish it on Patreon for the support of just $1 a month. I’ll also be including extra perks for anyone who supports me for more photoshop and photography video tutorials, prints, in depth stories about my shoots, gear details, and free digital copies of the books I am working on as I finish them.
