Pops Pastrami sandwich at Harry & Ida’s Meat Supply in the East Village: gamechanger.
The Double Bubby Burger at Bubby's High Line.
Excellent classic beef pho at Pho Sure on Christopher Street.
The prosciutto at Barbuto is the best I ever had.
Steak Au Poivre at The Capital Grille. Peppercorn crusted wonderfulness.
Umami Burger on 6th Ave & 10th Street.
Ramen Chasu at Ippudo on 4th Ave at 9th Street.
The pork bun at Ippudo on 9th Street & 4th Ave.
The Monte Cristo burger at Umami Burger on 6th Ave & 10th Street: vanilla custard-soaked bun with gruyere fondue & prosciutto, and a spoon of maple syrup because why not.
Pastrami sandwich at Katz's Deli. There is no equal.
Delicious beef picadillo at Cabana on 3rd Ave at 60th Street.
Baked ziti, fresh tomatoes & mozzarella, and steak gorgonzola... at Uncle Bacala's on Jericho Tpke in Garden City Park on Long Island. Buono!
Fried Yardbird, mash & greens at Red Rooster.
Deviled eggs, chicken & waffles, and fried green tomatoes at Red Rooster.
Ginger soy lacquered Chilean sea bass at the Blue Water Grill on Union Square Park. Not really a seafood person but I'm trying to broaden the horizons a bit. Delicious.
Aged rib eye from Rosemary's on Greenwich Ave & West 10th Street. Ridonkulous.
Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken on 2nd Ave & 1st Street. This is NYU Professor Questlove's favorite place. (He teaches a music history class, forreals)
