CBCOlympics: FLEMING DELIVERS 🇨🇦 A PK by the London, Ont. native puts Canada up 1-0 over the USA
There is truly nothing I love more than watching Jessie Fleming throw herself around the field like a human ragdoll with zero care for herself or anyone around her
She’s everywhere and I am loving it!
I normally root for the US but this game is making me cheer for Canada cause they’re playing so well🤭

Watch: In a powerful Congresional speech, Sandra Bland’s mother called people who think they’re woke “the walking dead” because of how little we still know
The speech included a rousing call to action before the newly formed Congressional Caucus On Black Women & Girls. And her words were incredibly resonant, even if you think you know the whole story.

fucking hell, plz share this
My heart hurts for these victims and this mother.
I didn't understand very well what happened with the Ertz foundation. Could you explain please?
Think this tweet sums it up best
Basically Julie and Zach Ertz run a foundation project which includes the sponsorship of a summer camp. This summer camp brought in police officers and swat (special weapons and tactics units) members to apparently educate the, it seems like majority black, children about the importance of police officers to build powerful relationships between them within their community. The irony, if not outright horribleness of the situation, is the fact that these are the people who have actually been destroying relationships within communities and have been the deadly catalyst for the protests and enormous rise of the BLM movement in the past months
