Have you ever considered this? They've always said, "Don't ever talk about Money, Politics, or Religion." But today these subjects are more important than ever! At their core they deal with how we govern ourselves, how we are governed as a people and what collective values are represented by those we vote into office, and whether or not we will govern our personal and national finances correctly.
Whether we realize it or not, the battles we face tend to be mostly ideological in nature. What separates us and what binds us are the ideals that we hold to. What makes this nation great is often what we take most for granted, that we have the have the right to disagree. We have the right to argue over our points. And we should. It'll make us stronger in the end.
Our personal beliefs and experiences color the lenses in which we view the world. Paradigm. There is no way to create a dichotomy between your truest held beliefs and your actions/ decisions. It comes out in everything you do and say. Like my mentor Ruddy always says, "How you do anything is how you do everything." Like the Bible says, "Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks." (Luke 6:45)
As for me, I do not consider myself a Republican or a Democrat, but I lean towards conservative and libertarian values. I believe that everyone has the right to choose how they want to live so long as they also agree to own and accept the consequences (favorable or unfavorable) for those choices. I believe that we have been created with a free will. Though not perfect, I choose to live out the values that the Bible says pleases God.
I believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God shared with us to point us to Jesus and his redemptive work over our lives. I believe that He died as a sacrifice for our sins against God the Father. His death brought us the gift of being forgiven from our sins. I believe that his resurrection is a great hope that those who put their faith in Him will also be resurrected to live with God in eternity. I believe, according to the Bible that those who do not receive this gift and therefore the forgiveness of their sins are destined to die and face judgement and eternal separation from God. I therefore believe that not sharing this message of hope is to condemn you and is not at all loving to you my friends, my family, and anyone else who may view this. I believe that the Bible contains great prophetic words as well that speak about what we will see in the coming future, inclusive of a global system that will be comprised of a 1 world government, a universal religion that will not be in accordance with the truth of the Bible, and a universal currency and financial system that will be required in order for anyone to buy or sell. (Rev 13:16-18) I believe in many ways we are being trained now and conditioned to prepare for that system to function in our lifetime or in the near future of our children.
I believe in free enterprise. I believe in entrepreneurship. That being said, I believe we can prepare to take action. No one will escape that time, but I believe that we have the ability to learn, grow, create solutions, build strong and prosperous businesses now, today, that will allow us to prepare our financial standings and assets in advance of such a global system so that we have a way to barter and trade for what we need. I believe we should be able to bless others financially and to help meet their needs where prudent. And I believe that we should do everything possible to position ourselves to resist the system of governance that is preparing to come upon all of the people on the face of the earth.
I pray that you are not blind sided by the smoke and mirrors. I pray that you are not entertained while the global system changes. I pray that if you do not have eyes to see and ears to hear, that God will touch your heart and open up His truth to you so that you may receive His Gift of forgiveness and eternal life regardless of what may come.
I leave you with this.... in the words of Pastor Kenny... "God bless you real good!"
