if a studio with 20-30 years of experience can manage this then SURELY an established studio with NEAR 100 YEARS of experience can maybe, just maybe, include a female that ISN’T a part of their formula

Laika are goddamn ARTISTS and MASTERS OF THEIR CRAFT. Look at the animation on Kubo and tell me it doesn’t feel more like CGI than stop motion sometimes because it’s so smooth.

I love them so much.

It really was that big!! I went to a Laika exhibit in 2018 and this took up almost an entire room alone!

Another room was mostly dedicated to the Coraline garden, for reference, the pumpkin eyeballs were about the size of a basketball each

There was so much crazy detail it was mind blowing!

God I wish I took more pictures and had a better camera back then cause it was the COOLEST EXHIBIT EVER!

I mean, who doesn’t love a wall full of faces??
