Okay now fuck this Abraham Portman was supposed to be a Polish Jewish man/boy depending on timeline, fleeing the Nazi’s that invaded Poland and slaughtered the Jewish population there, my family was also driven out of Poland to America during this time, to you know how nice it was to read the book and have that, and look yeaIrish people can be Jewish, but this was a big part of what made Abraham leave mrs.peregrines, the memories of being driven out of his homeland by nazi’s his family and people murdered. He could not stay there and know he did nothing to help…..I’m really pissed and dissapointed in both Ransom Riggs for letting his books be changed so much and Tim Burton, for changing it into a totally different story which is what I feel like has happened :/
