Ruby and Angel with their grandparents and Gideon

After their parents tragic death, Ruby and Angel moved to their grandparents - Jerry's parents. The house is cramped, atmosphere isn't the best either, Faye and Cletus keep arguing, Faye won't accept Gideon's identity but refuses to kick them out.

It's suffocating, with Angel's grades keep dropping from skipping school more and more because of constant fights with her classmates, and Ruby burying herself with more schoolwork to the point of not sleeping for days, this house turns into hell.

Angel had enough of all this, drops out of school and runs away without even leaving a note, Ruby is furious, of course they didn't had the greatest relationship when growing up but leaving her alone in all this? Seriously? With no way of contacting her twin, Ruby gives up and focuses on graduating and getting into collage far away from this town, "Angel will comeback sooner than later" she thought every time before passing out after her part time job. She never did.

Ruby started collage, got very very drunk during orientation and her memories were nowhere to be seen and remembered, well she couldn't to anything stupid right? Collage was harder than expected but only because Ruby threw all courses into three days, during breaks or at the library she kept had a feeling that someone is following her. As midterms came around she found a note in her bag, "meet me at 6", the writing was pretty, somewhat similar. It was Jalisa, her highschool friend, pregnant.

If you thought Carson would end up with Orange, you'd be just as wrong as I was. Instead, he built a bond with Wren Grove, and Wren invited him to the Romance Festival. Fast-forward, and now they have twin boys, Zucco and Gourdon (another surprise to me!). I've decided to have Zucco pursue the main challenge while Gourdon tackles the base game challenges. Wish me luck!

Issues with infinite black screen in Sims 3? Here's your solution!

For whatever reason, people are experiencing issues with the game since the latest windows 11 update. It'll start up and get 'stuck' on a black screen forever.

Luckily the solution is simple: press alt + tab to find the pop up hiding behind the black screen and click continue. Your core mods are causing this pop-up. So far both Nraas Errortrap and Simler90's core mod have been known to be at the root of this. If you have these mods, take them out and try starting your game again. Do you not get the pop-up without these mods in your game? Then you're running the wrong version of these mods and for whatever reason since the newest windows update, you'll be warned about this. It doesn't hurt your game, but you can get rid of the pop-up entirely by making sure you replace them with the correct versions here:

Download the correct version of Simler90's mod here.

Download the correct version of Errortrap here (click the steam or EA App icon).

Using these instead of whatever version you used first should fix your issue.

You can also download the newest version of S3SS to get rid of the pop-up.

Disclaimer: there might be other (core) mods causing your pop-up. If you're still facing the problem even when you fix Simler90 and Errortrap, then you'll have to do some more searching to find your culprit.
