M9 Animated show is campaign-accurate because members of the Cerberus Assembly are watching a Curator of the Cobalt Soul get executed, bargaining with each other for the Beacon, opening ancient eldritch texts and getting red eyes put on them, and on the other side of the border the Bright Queen is overseeing the ritual execution of one of her closest friends carried out by her traitor son, who is being pressured into bringing home the Beacon he stole and is now blaming his oldest friend for.

Meanwhile the Nein are shopping, taking baths, and having emotional breakdowns.

This is the early campaign at its finest!

I 100% expect us to discover a bizarre but in retrospect, blindingly obvious connection between these in my lifetime.

I'm willing to put $5 on it being related to the genetic connection between Dopamine and Connective Tissue Proteins that causes domestic dogs to be friendlier than their lupine ancestors and more likely to have floppy ears/curly tails. We're not dogs, but seeing how similar the symptoms of domestication are across mammals, I'm thinking we share that particular mechanism.
