zac efron on the verge of tears after eating pasta is both extremely relatable and also incredibly sad
Hollywood is so toxic with men's "body goals". Society is so toxic with men's mental health. This is heartbreaking to see. I really hope we change the view point of these things.
how to enable cc for spellcasters
so i thought this was a me problem but i figure that i should pass this knowledge along for anyone that is suffering from the same issue as me
cc eyes/skin/other things i havenât found made prior (i want to think just prior) to realm of magic coming out have a habit of breaking and not showing up for spellcasters leaving the unchangeable brown swatch and no eye color swatches present in the case of eyes or just donât show up in the case for other things
after searching for forever i found a way to fix it! please reblog to save a witch loving friend!
what youâll need:
sims4studio
the cc you want to show upÂ
if fixing skin: sims 4 skininator
this first part is for cc like eyes, hairs etc skins will be after that
i havenât tried out fixing enabling presets yet but it should be as straight forward as fixing skintones

âWhy I ship Zutara - since so many are inclined to believe itâs a Zuko fetishâ
Is Zuko my favorite animated character of all time? Why yes, yes he is. Do I identify with Katara as a barrier-breaking feminist and woman of color? Yes, yes I do. Is that why I ship them together? No.
Look, when I first watched ATLA, I was 7 years old. I donât remember shipping anyone, but I didnât hate that Aang and Katara ended up together. They were cute! Itâs whatever.
When I rewatched the show at 13, I still thought Kataang was cute, but I ended the series shipping Zutara, and as the years went by, they rose higher and higher on my list. Now theyâre my #1 OTP.
So why do I ship them?
1) Theyâre two sides of the same coin. Both of them grew up too fast with the loss of their mothers. Both grew up under an elderâs influence. Both of them constantly fought to prove their worth to their peers, and both held resentment toward their fathers. Both spent the entire series improving their bending and incorporating each otherâs bending styles into their own.
They have so much in common, and so many shared experiences and important bonding moments (defeating Azula together, Zuko saving her life, confronting Yon Rha together, the cave scene / turning point, their battle at the North Pole...)
2) Theyâre yin and yang. Fire and Ice. Sun and Moon. Passionate male energy and the soothing, healing touch of a woman (and her chilling bite). Realism and hopeful idealism. The Blue Spirit and the Painted Lady.
Zuko grew up without a healthy sibling or father relationship. Katara eventually obtained both of these. Zuko lived in an elite world surrounded by people and bending teachers, yet he felt alone. Katara grew up on an ice cube with no bending masters, but she loved her home and family.
The parallels go on and on.
3) Symbolism. They could have embodied the Cave of Two Lovers perfectly: benders separated by cultural divide, a cave to meet in secrecy where outside conflicts are put on hold, allowing them to grow closer, to love one another.
Plus, what better way to bridge two nations with seemingly irreparable tensions than a marriage between lovers? These two went from enemies to partners in crime to friends. Imagine if theyâd fallen in love. Imagine a water bender as Fire Lady, and what influence she could have on the Fire Nationâs perceptions of the Water Tribe. Imagine the prejudices she could shed herself, living in this new culture, serving its people.
4) Theyâre good for each other. Zuko needs someone who can help him shift his nationâs perceptions of the world. He needs someone who can take on responsibilities of her own, rally a crowd, bring hope to his world, and not only become a mother to his children, but his people. He needs a woman who, like his mother, can encourage him to be the best version of himself.
Katara needs to feel useful. She needs to feel like sheâs helping people and making a difference. She needs to be more than a wife or a mother. More than a traveling companion. Sheâs a cartaker, but sheâs also a leader, and she needs a mature man in her life who she can leave alone, unattended for a while. Someone she can speak to about harsh realities. Someone who will not judge her for feeling negative. Someone who will understand her sarcasm, and who will vent with her when she needs it.
5) I have always shipped them for their potential, not necessarily what we were fed in the show. So I understand how others donât see it. But as a writer, I recognize that this pairing could have been an extremely valuable storytelling tool. Aaron saw that, the actors saw that, but Bryke wanted Kataang, so we got the typical âhero gets the girlâ scenario. I get it. I just wish they would have gone the extra mile.
6) I donât ship Kataang anymore
Aang is 12 years old. Heâs a child (and a monk). Thatâs what makes the series work, why his victory is so powerful. His youthful innocence is a reoccurring theme throughout the series. And yes, he learns to accept many hard truths of the world, but in the end, he chooses mercy and idealism. As an adult, I canât see him as anything but a child. And I donât ship children. I definitely donât want to see them make out with anyone đˇ
Katara acts like his mother for most of the series. Sheâs his caretaker first and foremost. And itâs clear she loves him, but sheâs not even sure how she feels about him several episodes from the finale of the series. Iâm not about to act like their relationship wasnât romantically coded, but it felt forced at the end. It felt like they set Katara up to be his mother more than his partner. Itâs regressive to her feminist arc (and donât get me started on Korraâs depiction of her!)
And yeah. I did not find 12 year olds attractive when I was looking forward to my first year of high school. If I had the choice between Aang and Zuko at her age, you bet your ass Iâm swooning over the prince of the Fire Nation. đ¤ˇđťââď¸
7) I really donât ship Maiko. I love Mai as a character (gray characters are always fun). But her relationship with Zuko formed off-screen (never a good choice for a romance arc) and she was only ever regressive to Zukoâs character. She was never going to help him grow, to be a selfless leader, to consider the importance of other nations or the lower class (she jokes about ordering servants around for fun, big yikes). She couldnât be a positive influence on Zuko until she had an enlightened journey of her own, which she didnât get - her only arc revolved around Azula and her love for her boyfriend. She was a source of constant negativity and pessimim. Thatâs the last thing a leader of a war-torn nation needs.
So yeah. Iâm not trying to convince anyone to ship my ship. Iâm simply explaining why I love these two so much (since so many of you think itâs a bad boy fetish), and why I reject the pairings the show left us with.
I think Zutara would have created a stronger narrative for a near-perfect show, a better romance, and a more relatable protagonist, and no one will ever change my mind about that.
You explained everything perfectly. I wish more writers and fans alike could see why this level of storytelling, romance between characters and character development would have been better for this show and many other shows that take the easy way out so to speak.

* * * Thoughts: This is possibly my favorite update coming with the patch and thatâs saying something since itâs competing with ladders and free window/doors placement! Such a quality of life improvement for those of us who play the same sims for longer periods of time.
Low Honor Arthur says this when heâs running from the law. He says a lot of hilarious insults. Everyone should play low honor at least once., itâs like playing a new game.

What's your opinion on ATLA comics?
I read them once years ago and as soon as I finished, I blackout and erased any memories of them. I believe it was my defense mechanism kicking in against so much character butchering and character development erasure.Â
I still have nightmares from time to time. Safe to say I never continued them pn the years to come.Â
All I can say is thatâŚ.Katara, Iâm so sorry sweetie.Â
They did Katara so dirty itâs unbelievable. To disrespect a character whims thrived to be more then her gender. To be reduced to the Avatarâs girlfriend. Chief Hakodaâs Daughter. But not Master Katara who mastered her element at 14.
@clearlydifferentstarfruit EXACTLY!!!
And Ursa, as well. That whole arc, actually. It was just such a ridiculous, hot mess.
Zuko deserved better.
Aang deserved better.
Katara was robbed of what she worked for and deserved.
HonestlyâŚ.I just donât understand how they couldâve been so disrespectful to a show and its characters.
To me, Kataang (as endgame) and the comics in general, (and therefore everything else after), just speaks of how the creators refused to accept the path their own characters and story had taken. Instead, they stubbornly and selfishly forced their original vision into the story. Even when said vision no longer had a place, or made any sense, within the charactersâ lives and the overall development of said story.
Writing 101: you let your character go where they want to go. You go where they take you. Otherwise, your readers will know. Because not doing so is dishonest. You are not been truthful to the life these characters take.
@zutara I just got bored with reading the comics after Smoke and Shadow honestly. The characters and story were so painfully butchered. Seriously wtf is going on with Aang promising to kill Zuko in The Promise?!!?? Aang literally showed Zuko mercy multiples times even before his redemption and had a whole big dilemma about not wanting to kill Ozai. Itâs literally a whole big part of Aangâs character is that his pacifistic/non-violent culture now resides on his back but heâll totally agree with Zuko to kill him if he ends up like Ozai đ Kataraâs character is entirely subsumed into Aangâs in the comics and even LoK. Honestly itâs perfectly described here how Katara deserves as apology from LoK for the huge disservice to her character. But it isnât really surprising to me that Bryke murdered Kataraâs âstrong female characterâ considering Brykeâs original plan was to have Toph be a muscular male jock that would be in a love triangle with Katara and Aang being the Nice Guy that would try to win Kataraâs affections. Male!Toph was later dropped at the insistence of head writer Aaron Ehasz but Bryke decided to go ahead with their love triangle subplot in LoK, which ended up being one of the most reoccurring criticisms of LoKâs first two seasons. Ironically, Bryan actually explains the problem with the Kataang finale by calling it âa bit forcedâ and how the âthe majority of the examples in media portray a female character that is little more than a trophy to be won by the male lead for his derring-doâ cause my biggest pet-peeve with canon is that one moment where Katara tells Aang off for forcing a kiss on her in âEmber Island Playersâ. Itâs pretty ridiculous to call it âassaultâ or âabuseâ or shit like that since Aang was 12 and innocent but Katara was still uncomfortable (itâs better explained here my feelings on the matter) but she decides to jump right into Aangâs arms as soon as he finished fighting Ozai?? How did Katara stop being âconfusedâ and her feelings were incredibly vague considering she also looked uncomfortable when Aang kissed her before the invasion. I like Kataang actually since the inklings of their relationship started to be planted in âThe Cave of Two Loversâ and âThe Headbandâ for example (I sure as hell donât have the same aversion to it as my NOTP Ma/korra thatâs for sure!) but my feelings on the ship have def soured over time.

why are you telling me these things? it is important to draw wisdom from many places. if we take it from only one place it becomes rigid and stale. understanding othersâthe other elementsâand the other nations will help you become whole.
you ever think about the ultimate legendary status aang left at that one fire nation school he went to?Â
like. just imagine the stories that came afterward. this random kid from the colonies shows up for ONE week, tops. probably even less. and in that time, he: shows up in the middle of the school day because he was caught ditching, gets away with breaking the school uniform code and wearing a headband, speaks out in class to question the authenticity of their fire nation history books right to the teacherâs face, brings back all the vintage lingo from a hundred years ago like flameo and hotman, flirts with the girlfriend of the most popular guy at school who also happens to be the schoolâs biggest thug, totally wipes out popular thug guyâs ass in a fight without breaking a sweat or lifting a finger, throws the single most epic, greatest dance party rager ever that would go down in history, in a CAVE, dances with all the prettiest girls, escapes from the schoolâs administration trying to catch him at aforementioned party, and disappears that same night without a trace.Â
iâll bet those students probably still go around saying stuff like âman, remember kuzon?â *shakes head in wonder* âwonder what kind of crazy shenanigans heâs up to these daysâ
legendary, Iâm telling you.Â
