I recently illustrated an article for Topic and Lenny Letter on the evolutionary causes of menopause.
Did you know only 3 species have been recorded to have long post-reproductive lives in the wild? Go to https://www.topic.com/the-magic-of-animal-menopause to read the article by science writer Ferris Jabr, and to see more of my work!

Working on new things in Hyde Park today.
Panels II, V, VIII, and XI of ‘XII Panels: A map of disembodied, Reembodied, 2015′
Ink and charcoal on parchment.
Items collected from the landscape are mapped and explored via charcoal frottage. Fictional forms are then sought out from the marks with a fine tipped pen, using drawing techniques reminiscent of scientific illustration. Methods of diagrammatic drawing and map making are used as tools to observe the fictional organic forms, whilst also appropriating the authoritative voice implicit in this style of imagery.
