In the middle of last week when Abby finally announced that she wanted to be a "purple kitty cat" for Halloween I knew I was going to have no choice but to make her entire costume. The finished product isn't perfect, and I would have loved more time, but seeing how excited she was to wear it makes it all worthwhile 💜

Yesterday was miscarriage/infant loss awareness day. 1 in 4 women have experienced a miscarriage/stillbirth/infant loss, and yet nobody talks about it. Why? If 25% of the women you pass on the street have felt the same heart wrenching pain that lives in my chest, how is it that you feel so alone? As someone who has personally suffered three losses within the last year I'm here to say, "You're not." This is not something to be ignored or to only grieve in silence. Speak out. You're loss is real and your feelings are valid. Be heard. 1 in 4 is not just a number. It's me.
