Unsung Heroes: Man, Woman and Machine

Unsung Heroes is a project celebrating the unacknowledged contributions to space travel as we know it.

My ‘Man, Woman and Machine’ hand-bound book ties my space-based outcomes together by celebrating the field as a whole, and recognises significant contributions to the field by not just women, but men too and our precious robo-friends. (+1 cute dog <3)

Unsung Heroes: Voyager 1

Unsung Heroes is a project celebrating the unacknowledged contributions to space travel as we know it.

My ‘Voyager 1′ patch celebrates the space probe itself, that has been exploring outer planetary, heliosphere and interstellar mediums for 38 years and counting!

A small amount of Voyager 1 patches are now available in-store at Family Store, Brighton! Need to get my butt in gear and sort out an online shop, but in the mean time if you’re interested in buying a patch or risograph hit me up at [email protected]. Patch on a hat = £10! :-)

Unsung Heroes Flag 

Unsung Heroes is a project celebrating the unacknowledged contributions to space travel as we know it.

The ‘Unsung Heroes’ flag acts as a manifesto and encourages you to recognise and appreciate the women who have walked before you to pave the way for people of the future to pursue disciplines freely. Whether this be in anything from space travel to graphic design, many women from many places have taken risks to further their field which has in turn shaped your field. Give them some love!

‘Women of Space’ is a risograph-printed poster celebrating the unsung names of just a few women who have worked in space and made history!

Women of Space was in Peckham-based exhibition ‘Assortment’ during the month of June alongside many talented creatives from the University of Brighton’s Graphic Design and Illustration courses.
