So I heard that they were going to come out with a new hunger games? but they took away most of the main cast. I don't know how i feel about that. it's like taking away all the amazing acting on it to make it for new people. How are you feeling about it? they are, and would you believe that they didn't ask me back? almost like they don't wanna deal with me and my consistent calling for lunch — nah, only joking. it's the film adaptation for the prequel that suzanne wrote a few years. honestly, i'm glad they didn't ask me back. knowing francis, he would have just wanted me to come on and do some kind of singing cameo bullshit. plus, i didn't keep up with the bow and arrow, so i'd be atrocious at it now. that, and katniss in her thirties? real housewives of district 12 in full swing. i see exactly what you did there though, and i love you for it. is this where i tell you that nancy has always been my favorite character? even though i personally identify more as a steve. i'm doing good, though! just gearing up for the commercial heart day. how about you, starshine? working on any top secret season five things yet, wink wink?

i was recently forced to watch a couple scenes from sons of anarchy, and i gotta admit it’s got me missing charming real bad. i’m not one to enjoy watching my work and i try and avoid it at all cost, but after seeing those few scenes it reminded me just how much i loved being part of that entire series. anyone else ever feel that way about a project they’ve done that’s ended? tell me i’m not the only one. / @gonehollywoodstarters​

'cause that's a real kinky thing to just admit outright — i respect it, though. whatever floats your boat. for what it's worth, i too loathe watching myself on screen. all it does is remind me of how annoying i am. it's a good fucking show, though, you were a powerhouse in it, so i'm glad someone sat you down and had you relive its greatness. nah, you're not the only one. i feel like it's a bit of an asshole move to say that i don't feel that way about the hunger games. i miss very specific things about those projects, like the people. not the press tours, and definitely not the olympic training. shit ruined the gym for me forever.

When the topic of kids comes up, it's usually something I gloss over with the assumption that one day I might become a mom but I'm in no rush to make it happen. Today, I found a woman on tiktok who has scarred me for life. She has a list and I'm not talking one or two points here, no, there's hundreds of reasons written down with what can happen during pregnancy and after. No one told me I could potentially become allergic to my own body if I become pregnant, where was that warning? Not only that but you can become blind too? Organ failure, heartburn, the umbilical chord can get stuck, you can sweat blue, your hair and nails could fall out... the list goes on and I'm sitting here wondering why these topics were never brought up. To the mom's out there, are you good? I'm in awe of you. To the people out there that haven't carried a child... I'm sorry for traumatising you but I had to share my knowledge. I'm Dua by the way and I've been on the phone to my mom for the last hour apologising for my birth. She insists it's not my fault and she's right, it's my dad's. @gonehollywoodstarters

okay, i'm so glad that there's someone else out there who acknowledges that pregnancy is absolutely horrific. like, everyone talks about how it's so beautiful, a life changing experience — yeah, it's life changing, because shit is terrifying. birth is a miracle because it's truly a miracle that everyone makes it out to the other side. the one that really gets me is the sweating blue. like... how? how the fuck is that possible? are we all secretly smurfs and we just don't know it? i have to live in delusion so i don't scar myself for life. the human body is just outright fucked up, man. cool, but fucked. anyways, hi dua, i'm obsessed with you. i'd say that even though your dad really put your mom through the ringer, i'm glad you're here and i'm glad i get to be alive at the same time as you. significantly less cooler than you, but i'll pretend i'm in your league.

That is me every day, but I blame my job for that. When you wear little clothing for your show, it does not help, but I love Broadway so I would not change a thing. I say drink some tea or wine both do the job to help keep warm.

The beginning of february, can you actually believe it?! 2 months in already in the new year and just hating all the cold. I think that this year is just going by faster than the last. My flordian butt is really just hating on it, the cold sucks. I've heard that it's been better there than all the cold areas that had been upon us. should I ask what these hobbies from tiktok that got you going? I mean ' Doug' was pretty cool and would put you as the best of friend that another human could ever have -- I don't think that would be a bad thing. it's... something to think about, that's for sure. the older i get, the more convinced i am in the whole 'time's an illusion' theory. like, what do you mean we're in 2023? it was 2007 two days ago. i can't for the life of me keep up. girl, you and me both. the kentucky in me should, in theory, be able to handle a little chill, but alas. can't do it. i'm like that fruit loops toucan — tropical bitch all the way. i need to be somewhere where i'm apt to get a sunburn pronto. you certainly can ask, but i can't promise that they'll be the most riveting thing you'll ever hear. one of them is crocheting tiny cat hats. wait, that's really sweet. i kind of love that. taking the dog for a run is a choice. i applaud it, but it could never be me. any time i'm running, chances are there's something chasing me and everyone else would probably benefit from running too. running away. do you guys cuddle up on the couch together? that's when having a pet is arguably the best. the pleasure's all mine, i'm such a huge fan. pitch perfect was great and all, but god, john tucker must die is without a doubt my favorite project of yours. i could quote that shit backwards in my sleep. i'm gonna hope that he at least pretends and then hides it, for my sanity's sake. i don't know that i'd be able to survive the coup and the destruction of my hard work.

february's upon us, and in the midst of freezing my ass off ( which of you asked for this cold weather? i'm just trying to talk ) i've taken to spending most of my time underneath a giant blanket and indulging in the most mundane, niche — specific shit that the internet could possibly throw my way. i've picked up and dropped three hobbies in the last month alone, all because tiktok made them look like they'd be fun to do post - divorce and present - new year, new jen bullshit, but goddamn. i either am the human incarnation of that dog from the movie up, or i just have a lot of space in my brain for really arbitrary interests that have the same lifespan as sliced bread. what about you, what's something off the wall that scratches that itch in your brain or really appeals to you but the second you go to execute, it loses its luster? i'm jen, your friendly neighborhood hermit, and if you hear cries for help, know that i finally attempted to have my cat model the sweater i crocheted for him over christmas and he staged a coup. it was fun while it lasted. ⦙ @gonehollywoodstarters
