okay now that i have an actual minute to breathe, storytime:

obviously you know i tore my acl in december, and my friend here tor their meniscus last summer, so we were joking about how i and probably they would be hobbling sround this convention on our bad knees. and both of us had a collective brain blast and were like 'dean t shirts with this quote' for our jensen op. her roommate made the shirts for us, and we decided to make an extra to offer as a prop if he wanted to use it

so there we are on line for the op, wearing our shirts and laughing like idiots about what im about to ask this man, and we get to the lovely handler who sees it and cracks up. and she says yeah, he'll absolutely hold it. and then we get to jensen. and i hold the shirt up to him and say 'if you want to hold this in the op, you can'

and he takes a second to actually read it. and the second it clicks, he CRACKS up and does a mini unicorn laugh at the shirt, says 'that's hilarious,' and takes it for the photo. i have no clue what he's planning on doing while holding it. that facial expression was all Joice.

then. as we're walking away. he notices i am wearing a brace on my kneee and he says 'wait you're wearing a brace you actually MEANT it' and i turn to face him and laugh like 'no shit i meant it' and in the process. nearly trip over the taped down wire in the op room. i wasn't even embarrassed. it was the perfect explanation for the t shirt 😂😂😂
