Friendly reminder that Sturges is canonically a large guy, so much that it's deemed noteworthy enough to be mentioned by both Preston and himself the first time you meet them.

Also he doesn't fight, and that's cute. I know it's because they want an excuse to send the player out, but they could have been lazy and injured him or something but instead went with 'this guy is a huge man and also a huge softy', and I love that.

I only accept bear Sturges as canon.

So yeah i basically wanted to make a goofy ahh comic to keep my comic hand warm during the holidays. I wanted to practice action-y shots a bit more too. With this comic i basically was thinking "slasher but the main baddie has a shotgun instead of an axe" or something

There's definitely stuff to improve here but i like how it came out nonetheless so... Enjoy :)

I've never seen anyone point this out : Bull and Pam both have heart-shaped tatoos. For me it also looks like Bull's tatoo has been covered to look like a toast covered in jam (why tho). Pam's tatoo is broken.

Maybe it's nothing, but for me it looks like they were in a relationship and broke up at one point lmao.

Maybe this means Bull is Jessies dad? 😭 Why not, I think it's a cool dynamic. But maybe it will remain a mystery forever.

One day I will drop my backstory headcanons for all (or most) of the brawlers because there is so much to talk about..

This was my bullshit for after-work fun, at least for a while. I created the Cooper pattern first and loved it so much, I just had to do one for the Ghoul. In case you aren't picking up on the influence, these were inspired by the fabric and wallpaper patterns of the mid-century, specifically those around cowboys. I love creating repeating patterns and those have always been fascinating. I also got to play around with some amazing color palettes thanks to a big set of photos of the Arizona desert.
