"Sorry cuddles…I know your girlfriend. I’ve had enough warlock induced headaches to last me a century."

He caught the blood. “Oh darling…you shouldn’t have.”

"Don't worry I don't plan on cheating with Bonnie... especially with you. I was teasing." 

Shrugs softly "I wasn't sure how you were doing and well... as much as I pretend I don't like you part of me... cares about you."

[Rolls his eyes sitting on the edge of his bed tossing him a blood bag] And I was under the impression you wanted to cuddle.

*Wakes up in a cold sweat*

She padded along next to him, bare foot down the hallway thinking on just how much had happened since she’d arrived there. “How long have you been here?” She asked, turning her head to look up at him.

"It does." She said with a soft smile "Makes you feel like you’re not completely mad."

He'd walk towards the kitchen grabbing a tea Kettle filling it with water "I've been alright... well I didn't tell you my sister came back finally, which makes everything a bit more... endurable." and he turned back to her "Jace hasn't gotten any better though."

  He nodded softly "Well you don't have to feel mad ever, because I'm sure I'm on the same level if not more mad than you."

*Wakes up in a cold sweat*

  She stands on the bed and takes his hand before hoping down onto the floor. “Probably.” 

She returned the smile “This is true. And at least we know we’re not alone in this.” She said, wanting him to know that she would be their for him if he needed her. She couldn’t stand the idea that her friend would be going through this alone.

He let her hands drop making his way quietly down the hallway listening for sounds of any kind.

He smiled reassuringly at her nodding "It always feels good to know you have someone who know exactly what you're going through.

"Sounds pretty good to me." She said with a small nod. 

"Hopefully." She said looking back up at him again and giving him a small, thankful smile "Here’s hoping we both do."

Standing up holding his hand out for her "i'm sure the kitchen is free at this hour." 

He smiled softly "I hope we both do, but at least we have each other for now right?"

"Let’s just go back to thinking about simply Earl Grey."

"We can but hope." She said letting out a sigh. Nodding along with what he said, she stopped when he asked her. Her gaze shifted to her bed shirt, messing with it between her fingers. "Uh,…I haven’t actually found anything yet."

"We could make that now... I don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon." 

He looked at her a moment watching her, she seemed a bit nervous about that question "Oh... well I'm sure you'll find something suitable.Might be something you won't even expect."

Elena didn’t know what to expect. As far as she knew, she could have been gone for weeks, maybe even months, so a large variety of reactions would be justified. “It’s me.” Immediately, she wrapped her arms around him, relieved that he didn’t seem too angry.

“I…I’m so sorry Jeremy.” She told him softly.

Jeremy hugged her even tighter he had been worried sick about her and here she was, hugging him back  "I can't believe its you..... I missed you so much."  

Jeremy rubbed her back not wanting to pull away from the hug just yet, afraid she would disappear if he let go "I was worried sick, where were you Elena?"

"Disgusting is one word for it"

"I’m sorry you have them too, Jer." She said giving him a small, sad smile. "They suck don’t they." She said letting out a sigh. She turned her head to look at him too and shrugged "I guess what ever you think will work best for you."

"I'm gagging just thinking about how Horrid it would be." 

  "Maybe one day.... they'll stop for the both of us?" He nodded softly "Yes they definitely Royally suck that's for sure." I guess... I'll have to figure out something, what do you use? If you don't mind me asking."

"Jeremy?"

She called, taking a step forward hesitantly.

Jeremy heard the voice he hadn't heard in months and he paused looking at her"Elena? Is... it really you?" without hesitating Jeremy approach her hugging her tightlyy.

Night of winter lights {Beremy}

Nervous. Her palms were getting unusually sweaty! Well, not exactly cause she knew the reason why, but still. She had agreed to go on a date with Jeremy yet not talking to Elena about it was still nagging her in the back of her mind. She would have if the said brunette wasn’t elusive to her own friends and family. She had been hesitant in telling Caroline but the new vampire was extremely understanding, so unlike her old self. She wasn’t fine with seeing her best friend become a vampire, but maybe that had been the best thing to have happened to her.

Thankfully, her father had gone on his one of a million other business trips again and she didn’t have to explain why or where she was going out with Jeremy. Her grandmother has been all smiles when informed about her plans for that evening. Sighing, she slipped on her coat just when the bell rang. Here it goes! She took a deep breath, climbing down the stairs and opened the door with a smile plastered across her lips.

Jeremy ruffled and playing with his hair trying not to look so goofy. he looked himself over in the mirror and he was beyond nervous. He couldn't deny he was nervous, he knew Bonnie was way out of his league. But here he was getting ready to go out with her, and she actually wanted to go out with him. He let out a sigh of relief trying not to think of the stress of Shadow hunting, or his sister's opinion of them dating, even though she had yet to give one. He wanted to let go of everything and focus on only Bonnie, it was what she deserved. Jeremy looked in the mirror one last time grabbing the white lilies he bought for her as he made his way towards her house with a backpack with a porjector, lovey dovey movies and also a blanket for them to sit on.

He approached her house and as he felt his nerves building up once again. He let out a breath as his hand moved to the door, he his the flowers behind his back and decided to use the doorbell instead of knocking. He pressed the bell softly waiting for her to answer, it might have only been a minute but it felt like an eternity. When the door opened and he saw her beautiful face a smile spread across his face and before he spoke he pulled out the flowers "I got these for you... I really hope you don't think its lame of me to get them for you the first date."

"It’s like Earl Grey only with more citrus notes. That you will, just not all at the same time." The was the tiniest hint of a laugh in her warm smile. 

She sunk down against the headboard and sighed “I know the feeling. Some times I wonder if they’ll ever go away.” She paused and then started again as if she had just remembered something “I have a friend who says if nothing is working to stop them, we should find something to calm and comfort ourselves once they wake us, limit the control they have over us that way.”

"Oh no not all at that would taste rather... disgusting."  

 Jeremy looked at her sadly nibbling on his lip "I'd never wish Night terrors on anyone I'm sorry you have them as well." He'd lean against the headboard as well looking over at her "Like what though?  like a blanket, a person... what?"

She nodded “I do, I also have Lady Grey, White Peony and Rose Buds, and Organic Lavender Grey and well as English Breakfast Tea, of course.”

"If you can, you should try not to think like that……but I know how hard that is." She said, her voice filling with a tired sort of sadness.

Smiles a bit "Lady Grey? Hmm that one sounds intriguing. I might try them all... if that's okay with you." 

"Yeah..... I'll try but  I am have been trying for awhile, and to no avail..."

She gave him a small smile “Now that I can help you with. I have several very nice loose leaf teas stashed away.”

Her face saddens at what he tells her, moving to sit next to him at the head of the bed. “It wasn’t your fault Jer.” She said quietly “And I know the logical advise is to try not to blame yourself, that maybe then the dreams would go away…….but I know it’s not that simple.” She looked up at him.

"You do? And i've been going through Tea withdrawals while here. DO you happen to have Earl Grey? That's my favorite." 

He looked at her shaking his head "I wasn't there, maybe if I had been.... I'd still have my parents, and everything would be alright." He chuckles softly rubbing his neck "That is easier said than done."
