Animatic based on the Aesop’s Fable, The Hare with Many Friends. I worked with the original story concept and added my own character designs and interactions
This is a combined story and illustration I did about corn. The goal was to transform some mundane happening into something of profound anguish
Sample spreads from my comic, The Stench of Summer -
The comic begins its life in the heat of summer, with a man who is stranded in the desert with no water to stay alive. This absolute nightmare leads to a fascinating discovery of self
The whole comic is at https://tapas.io/series/The-Stench-of-Summer
A couple of editorial style illustrations. The first article was about about internet theft, and the second was comparing the diets of adults and babies
Illustrations I drew based on stories I wrote entitled Tales of Great Confusion -
The first image is about the little girl Barla, who finds a new way of playing with her dollhouse
The second image is about Alfredo and his ridiculous meatball diet that eventually becomes terrifyingly problematic
The third image is about Jim the chimpanzee. In this story of romance, Jim realizes his shoes mean more to him than anything
The last image is about insecure boy Thomas, whose foot attempts to deprive him of his own desires
A couple of illustrations that capture characters in movement. The first is a breakdancing setting, and the second is a musical production setting
A story I wrote and illustrated about a simple minded fellow who is doing what he can to keep the world wholesome
An illustration entitled Nurturing Touch. The pot and vase nurture one another
A linocut print I did entitled Planets of Pollination. The idea is that every orb and structure bends and winds in order to nurture another
An illustration that depicts some gardeners tending to the plants in a foreign landscape. This was very loosely inspired by the farm life of Japan
A concept magazine cover entitled EATCHA VEGGIES!!! The target audience would be parents struggling to balance the diets of their children
A watercolor illustration I did for a series I’ve been working on about a village of little vegetable people
