Liliya sticking her thumbs in Coyle’s brain and his specifically is a particularly good detail to me because it’s like she’s trying to reenact a version of her dynamic with her own resident racist sexual abuser where he never got to permanently alter her at all and she was in control of the dynamic from the jump. No one told her to harass that old man, the Kresses would be a more obvious choice given their wealth. She chose him. It’s a real back and forth predator prey dynamic, which I love for him, he doesn’t get to taste his own medicine often.

Even though Gooseberry isn't my favorite prime asset, I'd likee to think that during her childhood, her father futterman madee her appear more white which caused Gooseberry to bleach her skin ruining it after Futterman's death

To clarify, Futterman cheated on a mistress who was black, which the mistress gave birth to Phyllis. Futterman's wifee leftt him which caused Futterman to be abusive/hateful to Phyllis because she looked exactly likee her mother

To clarify evenn further, I think Futterman would be white and Phyllis mixed. Phyllis can pass off as white, but at the end of the day, she's still black

Experiments by murkoff ruined her skinn moree and caused her eyes to change color as a grayy color
